Good morning I hope its quiet on here coz everyone's busy doing exercise and not coz you're being naughty. I've kinda been in the middle no time for exercise but sticking with no snacking and eating better.

ToeFluff · 16/09/2014 20:29

Had a cheeky weigh this morning and I'm down another lb! Woo!!!

All of you get your butts back to this thread!!!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 16/09/2014 21:38

Hi toe glad to see someone back! I weighed in and I'm still the same, happy I've not put on but I need to do something. I'm gonna join the gym and see if that works. Either that or I'll have to tape my mouth shut.

Reastie · 17/09/2014 16:23

Hello hello, I'm here and I'm back! Computer issues but all sorted now.

THings OK here. Lost I think a couple of lbs last week but down to stress and anxiety, which I would have rather not had. Still on it though.

ToeFluff · 17/09/2014 22:33

Hope you are ok now Reastie?

And wanna if only we could actually tape out mouths shut!! Grin

I am soooooooo tired trying to get used to school routine and working 5 days a week again, not full time but not having 2 mornings a week to not set an alarm is getting to me!!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 18/09/2014 18:21

Hope your stresses are sorted soon reastie are you still going with your exercises?

toe I really do feel its the only option for me. I try to be good but I'm too easily swayed. I really am not happy at the moment and everytime I walk past a mirror or see a photo I feel fed up but I still can't say no. I'm fine with breakfast but from lunchtime onwards it's all down hill. I need to take a healthy but filling lunch to work and not snack and see if that helps.
Just think 5 more weeks and it'll be half term so hopefully you can have a sleep in then.

Reastie · 18/09/2014 19:44

wanna I'm counting down to half term (I'm a teacher Grin )! DD and I both have 2 weeks off, it can't come soon enough, although, work this week has so far been enjoyable (famous last words hopefully not). I've managed to book a famous athlete (olympic winning no less) to come and do something with one of my groups [cryptic]. There's no way I'm going to look decent in a photo next to them is there Wink

Workout still going well wanna . P90X2 is amazing, really great, but very hard. I have to modify quite a few exercises to make them easier as I can't do what they do, but it's all very good. Would recommend, but probably after another workout series to get fit for it. Bring your lunch and snacks into work btw? It means you have to make heathy choices as it's all you have with you. Helps me anyway.

toe I'm with you on the mornings and hard getting up. I'm dead on my feet after dinner.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 20/09/2014 14:32

reastie my DH is a teacher that's how I know how long it is until the next break. We don't have school age kids. Lucky you getting 2 weeks off. Im sure if you keep up your P90X up you'll look just as good as your athlete Grin

My latest plan is to get my very strict friend to monitor my weight each week. She won't take any nonsense and will bully me into eating healthy! She's also going to do it and is little miss competitive. Why did I agree to it???

Reastie · 20/09/2014 17:57

wanna your friend sounds like Monica from friends Grin

WannaSplitAPineapple · 20/09/2014 18:45

Haha I suppose in that way she really is!

ToeFluff · 22/09/2014 15:57

Ok so it's Monday again, maintain here. Sort of lucky as I indulged on sat and had a Giant hotdog with pulled pork on top...plus the chips and onion rings it came with too! Shock

I am however on track today and so far I've only had 200 calories and I'm sure dinner won't be that high to push me over target!

How are things with everyone? Hope your all still going strong. I've realised I've got just under 6 weeks to loose as much as I possibly can before dp's friends wedding (where I don't know anyone and don't want to be huge for it!) ????????

Reastie · 22/09/2014 16:57

toe 200 cals and nearly tea time? How have you managed?!

Things OK here, although weigh in has shown I'm 145.5 lbs, which is on my usual, as opposed to the 143lbs I was reading this time last week, but I'm putting it down to having a new bathroom floor so it will fluctuate because of that. So, 145.5 is my new base line to work from.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 22/09/2014 20:20

toe what on earth have you or should I say haven't you eaten today! I feel faint at the thought of only 200 calories. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong.
6 weeks is a long time if you are good. How much do you want to lose in that time? Have you got an outfit sorted that you feel good in?

reastie how is your bathroom floor responsible for your weight? Grin what is your ideal weight?

I've been very naughty and just had a salted caramel pudding but I've had one of those days plus I'm using it as one last treat then tomorrow I'm starting properly. I've got "Monica" coming to weigh and monitor me!

ToeFluff · 22/09/2014 20:34

Was on the go today so Snack pack of grapes(52) for breakfast and a slim a soup(56) with a warburtons thin to dip in(100) for lunch... Jacket potato with cheese and beans for dinner with a side salad. Also allowed shop bought coleslaw and was still under target. Drank a lots and lots of water so I didn't feel hungry at work.

Don't think I could do it every day but might try similar every other day maybe.

ToeFluff · 22/09/2014 20:49

Mmmmmmmm salted caramel pudding... Nom nom nom

WannaSplitAPineapple · 22/09/2014 21:07

I can't lie it was delicious but I'm not even looking at the calorie content. Ignorance certainly is bliss!

I guess if you do that twice a week it's a healthy way of doing the 5:2. I know loads of people that have ate nothing on fasting days and binged on the others.

Well instead of spending the night looking for healthy meal ideas I've sat playing on here and shopping.

Reastie · 23/09/2014 06:37

Gosh toe I couldn't survive on that in a day [greedy] Blush

wanna you see the surface/level of the floor has changed. Usually my weight changes depending upon where in the room i set my scales, so the floor changing has made a difference to my weigh ins and I haven't been sure of my weight since the floor was taken up a few weeks ago.

ToeFluff · 23/09/2014 20:03

How have you two got on today? I don't think my dinner was very good as was cottage pie with lots of butter in the potatoes and lots of cheese on the top! Was relatively well behaved during the day though so hopefully it won't make too much of a dent.

Reastie · 23/09/2014 21:02

well, it depends on your portion size though toe

OK here. Did an insanity workout for the first time in yonks. Just missed it and fancied a change from my current DVDs. It was fab and I felt amazing afterwards, can't remember the last time I sweat like that!! So hard though. Hope I don't ache too much in the morning [old gimmer]

WannaSplitAPineapple · 24/09/2014 21:33

Did you manage to avoid the butter and cheese tonight toe? Grin if you look at your weekly diet your cottage pie will have been balanced out by your grapes and soup the day before.

How's the joints reastie? Did you survive the insanity?

I've had 2 good days with balanced meals and no snacks. Hopefully I can manage the same tomorrow.

ToeFluff · 25/09/2014 06:24

Well done to insanity (clue is in the name what I think about that) and well done for staying on track 2 days running wanna, it doesn't sound much but it's bloody hard!

I I had a pretty bad day.. Does it count if u are under cals but the cals you have eaten is junk?

ToeFluff · 25/09/2014 16:10

Much better day today! phew!

I'm also going to to join a gym! Wahoo! Excited! Xx

ToeFluff · 27/09/2014 21:13

Oi!

Reastie · 28/09/2014 07:16

toe have you been to your gym yet? What's it like Envy

Things fine here. Coming down with DDs cold Sad and very tired, but did a workout yesterday so that's something.

pineapple my legs ached for 3 days after insanity Blush

ToeFluff · 28/09/2014 21:47
