Anybody fancy losing a stone and a half by Easter?

I have just weighed myself and the results were hideous. I need to start taking some steps to shift some pounds - the first one being moving away from the Christmas chocolates. Does anybody fancy joining me?
It is 16 weeks until Good Friday so losing a stone and a half is very doable. I am a ww monthly pass member but haven't attended meetings regularly or followed the plan properly since the Summer Blush
Please come and motivate me.

Doing okish.
Had a bit of of a funny day yesterday.
Had a salad buffet type thing, so no idea really how many calories.
Are onion bhajis bad? Didnt think until I had them on my plate, and ate them
That is the advantage with packaged and tinned food. They are calorie counted.

Dont knock yourself too much about the 1lb. Especially since it is your first time.

RufusTheReindeer · 22/03/2014 10:37

Yes onion bhajis are bad

And I love them

And I am going to an Indian buffet, where I am going to eat a lot of them

Good luck for today!

FrantasticO · 22/03/2014 21:23

Yum...bhajiis
Nothing else to say...mmm

JokersGiggle · 22/03/2014 21:57

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm want some now

bluepen · 22/03/2014 22:02

That's the one drawback to this thread. It can give us the wrong ideas.

RufusTheReindeer · 22/03/2014 22:09

Had four!!

Not eating tomorrow!!

bluepen · 22/03/2014 22:11

I feel responsible!
No mention of them again will pass my lips on here!

RufusTheReindeer · 22/03/2014 22:33

Yep, blaming you blue

Tomorrow I will have a few coffees maybe a few ryvita for lunch and omelette and chips (in the actifry) for tea

What could possibly go wrong with that?

RufusTheReindeer · 22/03/2014 22:33

Just the chips in the actifry obviously

bluepen · 23/03/2014 14:39

Fried omelette!

I have realised that I am just about always fine until coming up to 9pm.
I like to finish off with something "nice", then I start to stray too much.

You have reminded me Rufus to find out how many calories there are in normal drinks. I always assume they are not that high.

How is everyone else?

RufusTheReindeer · 23/03/2014 15:45

Found out what can go wrong with that!

Damn you phileas fog crisps!

Still within my 1000 cals

bluepen · 23/03/2014 15:48

If I stay looking at your post too long about crisps, I am going to want them too!

RufusTheReindeer · 23/03/2014 17:14

blue get off the thread!! Save yourself!!

JokersGiggle · 23/03/2014 19:25

Has anyone noticed that your skin doesn't look so good now that your loosing weight?
feel disappointed - I wanted a healthy glow, not grey dry skin.

RufusTheReindeer · 23/03/2014 20:47

My skins seems to be the same, although a number of people have said that they can see the weight loss in my face

RufusTheReindeer · 23/03/2014 20:48

Skins? I only have one skin, just felt I should clarify that

JokersGiggle · 23/03/2014 23:00

Haha!
I just feel crap if i'm honest. Wanted to glow, ooze sex appeal, be confidant.
But now my skin is dry and grey, i'm still self conscious, terrified of the bikini I got myself; i'm thinner but nothing else has changed!
Sorry i'm prob just hormonal and being silly, ignore me Wine

JokersGiggle · 24/03/2014 20:59

Feeling really un motivated - can someone remind me why am doing this?

RufusTheReindeer · 24/03/2014 21:29

joker because you are only 5lb away from your target

Because you have already done so well

Because you like feeling fitter and getting into clothes that look good

JokersGiggle · 24/03/2014 21:31

I do like nice clothes Smile and looking good Smile

Thanks x

JokersGiggle · 24/03/2014 21:32

Oh I forgot my announcement!
I'm 2 pounds off my target! (think I was helped quite a bit by being ill, didn't eat at all for 3 days...)

JokersGiggle · 24/03/2014 21:35

Feeling really happy, thinking of changing my target to the weight I was when I met dh. But just don't like the idea of making the number of pounds to loose bigger when i'm this close to the end. anyone else moved the goal posts close to the end?

RufusTheReindeer · 24/03/2014 22:37

Yay!! Go joker, go joker,

My plan is to get to target and then see how easy it is to maintain, I'm miles away though

archshoes · 25/03/2014 14:26

Whoo hoo. Lost 4 1/2 pounds!
Did far better than I thought. [am bluepen]
Managed to remember what I have eaten for the last week, so will keep the details safe somewhere to remind me.
Does leave me with a bit of a dilemma of what to do now. Decided to lose some more if I can for the time being.

This sort of part answers your question Joker?
btw, I am not going to where I was when I met my husband. Too thin for me. I dont like to get bony. Which is the point I stopped at, years ago when I lost 1 1/2 stone.

JokersGiggle · 25/03/2014 14:44

Can people review this and tell me what they think. A friend just said i'm eating to much.
Ihave changed final target so i've got 7lb to go.

8.45 breakfast. 2Tbsp home made low sugar granola with 1 Tbsp full fat organic live yoghurt. Small coffee. Half a pint of water.
Then walk 10 mins Down the road to work.

That's what I had yesterday. breakfast is pretty similar each day. Other examples of lunch : home made soups, salads, eggs, couscous salads, sweet jacket potatoe with cheese, stir fry.
Examples of dinners : Spanish omelette, pasta (no creamy sauces), risotto, griddled fish or lean meat with veg and rice. quorn or tofu pieces with stir fry. Home made curry with rice.
How does that sound?
