The Spreadsheet of Fabulousness is here

Three weeks to go!

How are you all doing?

Anyone Ubercamping this week?

Good luck. Still time to shed almost half a stone if you really stick to your knitting! Grin

witwoo Halfthesize! You look stunning!

mumat39 · 02/03/2013 18:15

Half, wow! You look stunning!

Slummymummy Happy Birthday! Hope the foggy edges disappear soon.

Jake, you've done so so well. What a brilliant start!

Pyjamalover, I also kind of glad it's not just me struggling. The diet ou describe would be my ideal too. If only eh?!?

We had PIL over for lunch today so have still not climbed back onto the wagon, but hope to tomorrow.

Have a lovely weekend everyone! Xxx

pyjamalover · 02/03/2013 18:28

halfthesize you look great, and I love your dresses.

I've stuck to it today, although not had enough water and eaten a bit too much food. might have a glass of something this evening though.

timidviper · 02/03/2013 20:10

I made a variation on the IPD spiced lamb for tea today. Made the marinade as in the book with greek yoghurt and spices, soaked lamb leg steaks in it then fried them in a little coconut oil. Served with cauliflower rice and salad. Truly delicious!

half You look incredible!

Ruprekt · 02/03/2013 20:29

Looking good halfthesize! Well done.

I feel a bit despondent today. Am not losing weight very quickly. Not cheated AT ALL apart from a small amount of dark choc.

No crisps, bread, sweets, cake, biscuits, pasta, rice since 7 January. Not wanted it either.

Maybe I should do ubercamp on Monday. Need to find it now...............

Collywibbles · 02/03/2013 20:43

Ruprekt ubercamp is on the Spreadsheet - one of the tabs at the bottom x

BIWI · 02/03/2013 20:56

Ruprekt - you have lost a stone! What do you mean you're not losing?!

OP posts:
BIWI · 02/03/2013 20:56

QueenStromba posted this link on a low carb thrread last year. Video I watched it last night - it's about why sugar, esp fructose, is so bloody unhealthy. Quite long but very interesting and really shocking. Just thought I'd share. You will not look at the white stuff the same way again! He also very helpfully explains why the Seven Countries study (the one that linked sat fat to CVD) was wrong. Most useful.

jake glad you are feeling so well. It's amazing isn';t it?? I know what you mean. I will never go back. That's not to say I will never have pasta etc ever again, I'm sure I will, but as the exception not the rule. This way is so much better, and I am totally convinced it's the healthier way.

timidviper that sounds yum!

My parents are treating me as a guru about all this, it's hilarious Grin

Ruprekt · 02/03/2013 21:37

I havent lost a stone though BIWI.

I have lost 10lbs definitely.

I was 193lb to begin with and lost it very quickly. I am now definitely 183lb. I did get down to 179lb but weight went up again and never went down! So I have basically plateaued for 4 weeks!

Little chocolate. Maybe twice.

Am ubercamping on Monday. I just thought I could have got into a dress I had bought by now and I cant. My boobs look enormous! but this is my new WOE and I am happy doing it and certainly dont want carbs anymore.

JakeBullet · 02/03/2013 21:41

I am home from nieces party, had one glass of wine and some peanuts plus a diet coke. So not too bad...didn't touch the breaded chicken, the baguettes etc.

Tomorrow is roast dinner day at Mums and Ill be having that...might minimise the roast potatoes and arsonist this week but in the whole will have the roast dinner as I enjoy it.

BIWI · 02/03/2013 21:42

Right. Here's what I suggest.

Go back to Bootcamp.

Print off the Bootcamp rules, as well as the list of allowed veg, and make sure that you are absolutely following them to the letter.

So often when people say they are not cheating/they are doing everything according to the rules, 99% of the time they aren't!

So - check your water. Check your fat. Check that you aren't eating too many carbs/allowing carb creep. (If necessary, start to weigh the veg/salad that you're using, to make sure you aren't eating too many carbs)

Make sure that your carbs are mainly coming from veg/salad. Check how much dairy you are consuming - and cut back/out if necessary.

It's also a really good idea to keep a food diary, so that you can be scrupulously honest about what you're eating.

Try doing ubercamp next week, too.

And DH's parents came and polished of the end of the icecream, yey, so that is VAMOOSHED from the house for good. I bought a reduced chicken instead tonight and put it where the ice cream used to be. Felt symbolic Grin

BIWI · 02/03/2013 21:45

arsonist?! Grin

Ruprekt · 02/03/2013 21:57

Bloody predictive text! Arsonist Grin Grin Grin . Of course I meant "parsnips"Grin

Whippoorwhill · 03/03/2013 09:11

Had birthday Indian takeaway last night. I did have a single poppadum but no rice or naan bread or mango chutney and only had meat and veg dishes. There was a cauliflower and paneer one that was particularly nice.

Weighed myself this morning and I'm now exactly 3.5 stone down. Size 22 to size 12/14. Grin

sybilfaulty · 03/03/2013 09:19

WHipporwill, you are AMAZING. What a loss. Well done. Can I ask when you started?

I went to a 70s party last night and it was good fun. I ate mainly LC (buffet) and drank gin and slimline tonic. Now out and about with the kids this morning.

Have a relaxing sunday everyone.

Whippoorwhill · 03/03/2013 09:24

I started on 25th February last year at exactly 14 stone. Hoping to lose another 2 stone this year and then see how I feel.

My initial aim was to lose enough to be able to buy clothes in regular shops rather than Evans. It's got rather beyond that now and I'm just gong to see how it goes.

JakeBullet · 03/03/2013 09:32

Well done whippoorwill that is an amazing loss.....I only started on 25th Feb THIS year but am half a stone down in the first week and a bit. And even better I feel amazingly well.

Whippoorwhill · 03/03/2013 09:49

Hey Jake. This is where you could be in a years time. It is truly amazing. I've been on many diets over the years but have never enjoyed them the way I have enjoyed eating low carb. I feel better than I have in years too.
