I am starting proper as of today and have been out for spinach and smoked salmon and tuna and mushrooms and.....you get the picture [wmile].
A quick question regarding sweetners BIWI. I am odd in that I don't have a traditional sweet tooth, I like savoury carbs such as crisps etc.
I read The Diet Doctor link about the effect that Pepsi Max had on his bloods...ketones etc. my question is how much of that do you think might have been a placebo response? I wonder what would have happened if for example he drank a Pepsi Max every morning at the same time and continued to do his bloods. Would his body have caught on and realised.....no carbs here after all?

I could do an experiment......and see how I do this week.....
Or more productively I could do some more reading about this topic. As I say, I don't crave sweets etc, just potatoes and crisps and breads.....all cut out as of Saturday.
Off to google now to see what else I can find.....am drinking a large glass of............water...and it's nice.
