The previous thread title and OP wad intended for information only, but as a few people arrived wanting a bit of mutual support, I thought a more specific thread title might be in order, esp if there's anyone else wanting to join in. I think the cashback deal on online membership expires now, anyway.

Can you introduce yourselves with a quick summary of your aims, please?

I'll be doing Weight Watchers online only. DS is nearly 10 weeks and I'm BFing, so I get 40PPs a day, plus the weeklies. I'm not sure how easily the weight will come off with that amount, but can't cut down any further yet.

I have 3 1/2 st to lose altogether. I'm currently 12st 7lb and was 10st pre-DC after previous success with WW. I'd like to go a bit further this time.

My short term goal is to be a bit slimmer for a family wedding next month. Unfortunately I'm the gat cousin and need any extra confidence I can get.

My WI is Thursday. So far, so good. I'm snacking but sticking to my PPs + weeklies. Struggling to get much exercise due to two poorly DCs, but hoping to find time for a DVD today.

Flat mouse. Did you input your weight on the iPhone? There is a bug on the app at the moment and it is deducting half a pound when you log your weight. I deleted my weight and re-entered it in at half a pound more and then it was accurate iyswim.

Well done one and all. I'm waiting fir weds to do my WI. Making F&H ham, pulses and winter veg soup today. 0 points on F&H.

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 09:47

Sorry for the radio silence, have had a bad few says food wise. I blame DH.

WI this morning anyway and lost 3lbs. Which is good, but can try harder. Evenings are my downfall. Can do really well until 7pm then want to snack snack snack.

SallyBear · 14/01/2013 10:13

Lego. Turn your snacking into knitting. Honestly, it's boredom related. If you knit, crotchet or sew it gives you something to occupy your head and hands. Sudoku is also good for that too. It really does work. Well done for a 3lb loss. That's fabulous!

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 11:56

Funny you should say that, I was debating getting the knitting magazine that is out as I do like knitting.

How many points would you say would be in a honey and pumpkin seed ciabatta type square?

INeedThatForkOff · 14/01/2013 11:57

Gah, I just dropped my ww pedometer down the loo Angry. Got it on the radiator hoping it'll work when it's dry.

Yes sallybear i used iphone app. Will change it on proper online. Nosing around on proper online i see you can buy the eating out book online for £4.95 but whopping p&p !! Going to need to find out about Prezzo as have tesco converted vouchers to use up there by end Feb.

flatmouse · 14/01/2013 12:07

Oooh didn't realise you could track measurements as well - may go find tape measure - that way i have measurements recorded pre restarting shredding too.

onthemetro · 14/01/2013 17:50

Well done on the losses everyone! Smile

How are we all doing today? I'm having an ok day, haven't really been thinking about food which is odd as it's usually all I think of. Hoping this is a permanent thing! Have had cheerios & milk (5pp), a WW wrap (3pp) with pulled pork (4pp) for lunch and just had 2 Nice biscuits (2pp) and a cup of tea (1pp for the milk). So I haven't deprived myself at all, but I just feel content and satisfied with what I've eaten.

Oh no, forkoff, that must've been awful Shock I live in fear of dropping things in the loo, I'm not sure why as I don't often take things in there with me! Hope it works. Wonder if it'll be good for it to go into some rice like the suggest when you drop a phone in water?

lego I love knitting, am feeling a bit lost these days as I've put myself on a self-imposed knitting ban until I've finished my exams - otherwise all I'll want to do is knit!

Going to have a HM curry tonight, with a Tesco Light Choices mini naan bread for 4pp. Ooh, and a kiwi! Had a major fruit craving the other day so bought some kiwis, but they had to ripen first so I've been feeling them up every day hoping they'll be ready to eat Grin

SallyBear · 14/01/2013 18:00

Back on the F&H so crumpets and and banana for breakfast, lunch was; ham and egg with white toast and anchor (3pp) plus a large slice of Xmas cake (6pp), milk I've allowed (1pp) as I don't drink much milk, dinner is extra lean bolognese made with loyd grossman sauce (3pp) and a jacket potato. 13pp used in weeklies today with 12 weeklies left to use up before Weds WI.
Lots of fruit to eat still. Smile

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 18:26

Oday I've had porridge 4pp, glorious skinny spiced African veg soup 2pp (which was delicious), honey and pumpkin seed square 5pp and a smear of WW LF spread 0pp. For tea I've just had a WW chipotle chilli meal 11pp. Have also had some melon slices, a bana and an apple. I've got 14pp left! What do I have?

ethelb · 14/01/2013 18:50

@lego

4pp worth of chocolate
3pp wine
4pp bag of crisps
3pp creamy dip to dip crips into

Well that's what I would do anyway.

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 19:18

No crisps or chocolate or wine for that matter.

Was going to have two slices of buttered last, but bread is mouldy grrr.

Would go out but snowy and cold outside.

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 19:18

Buttered toast*

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 14/01/2013 19:33

Hello everyone :) Just got back from my weigh-in, I lost a pound this week, total loss so far 2 stone (since the end of March). Only another 2 to go... Hmm

onthemetro · 14/01/2013 19:48

Well done SuzySheep!

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 19:50

Well done Suzy.

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 14/01/2013 19:55

Thanks very much! How have you done?

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 20:06

3lb loss. Dropping the ocean really, but better off than on. You're half way there!

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 14/01/2013 20:42

3lb is brilliant! Its just keeping it up and not giving in to temptation too often that's the trick isn't it? Grr I have no patience and sodding polycystic ovaries!

NoWayNoHow · 14/01/2013 20:49

Ooh, lego, pretty please could you post the recipe for your skinny African soup on the recipe thread - sounds amazing!

First day down, and I'm not hungry which is good, but I'm still massively craving little chocolatey things. Hope the cravings go soon!

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 14/01/2013 21:06

I was having a bit of a chocolate wibble last week, so I had some of those Cadburys Highlights Fudge flavour. I think the other flavours taste like crap quite bland, but the Fudge ones are nice. 4 sachets for £1 in Tesco!

LegoAcupuncture · 14/01/2013 21:06

It wasn't a recipe, it was this one. There is 2 pp per half arton, although when on tracker says 5pp for the whole thing (as I've just had the rest of it for supper). Was 99p from morrisons. I think I'll buy some more as it was lovely.

onthemetro · 14/01/2013 22:03

Nowaynohow, I felt like that all throughout my first week (which was last week!) but I'm majorly craving fruit now, not sure why! Have just bought a pineapple and some plums from Tesco. The walk there and back earns me 5 activity points too Grin

Am just about to try the WW chocolate whip dessert, will let you know what it's like

MagdalenVanstone · 14/01/2013 22:18

Well done Suzy and Lego for losses today.

I've got my first week w/in tomorrow morning so I am excited to see how i've done.

I'm feeling less worried about eating rubbish now as I have realised I can spend my extra points on less dodgy stuff. This shouldn't have taken me as long to figure out as it has Confused

Today I had half a bought sandwich as my extras when I was hungry and a tiny bit of posh dark chocolate & yesterday I had a homemade biscuit from a load I'd made for a coffee morning thing and it was lovely, worked out at 6pp and had no rubbish in it.

I had bought some little packs of ww cheese biscuits but they were absolutely rank chemical crap unpleasant so i'm feeling better about it now I know I can treat myself without eating stuff I'm ashamed to be seen eating.

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 14/01/2013 22:32

Ooh good luck for tomorrow! I must admit, I do love those WW marshmallow-in-wafer things though they are probably just made of plastic foam and painted pink! :)
