Morning!

And what a truly horrible morning it is.

Here is the spreadsheet to confess all

Let's see what we can do in the next/last two weeks. A couple of strict weeks to finish Bootcamp and hopefully we can shift some serious pounds.

No mayo!

It was a great day. I would have liked to sleep in for longer, but hungry cat wasn't going to let that happen. I may have to slope off for a kip later on though, especially as I'm supposed to be going to the MN London meet up this evening.

WineGless · 01/12/2012 10:30

Morning all
My DC woke me up at 6am for the advent calendar grand opening after a 1am finish

Jac - what an inspiring post. You have done brilliantly

Vnmum- sometimes these things work out for the best. When I went back to work the childminder let me down at the last minute too. DS ended up going into nursery which worked out really well. The nursery staff are amazing and it's such a friendly place. I found out after that the childminder had a very high turn over rate and bad reputation! It's shit though and v stressful

We are having a lazy day watching xmas dvdsand writing letters to the big man!

BIWI - you are hardcore! Enjoy the meet up

sybilfaulty · 01/12/2012 10:52

Morning all Smile

Jac - brill post. You are an inspiration. I love the fact that we all eat so well (disasters aside) on this WOE. I haven't lost anything like you (about 1,5st here) but cannot believe what wonderful food and drink has got me to do it! Amazed.

VNmum - so sorry about your childcare falling through. It is a nightmare to arrange. Hope you find a replacement very soon.

Went out last night for quiz and curry at school. Resisted the naan and rice but may have eaten a couple of poppadoms and an onion bhaji. And a gallon of wine. Today is my son's 4th birthday. He is rampaging round like a mad thing and so excited. He has been ill all week though so party has been postponed til new year. Just as well as I am too fragile for 8 4 year olds in our house. Need to make a cake for him. Feel sofa and a DVD beckoning for this afternoon.

Hello, I am still here, life is v hectic at the moment so not much time to post, especially without my iphone that went in the washing machine a little while back - due an upgrade in two weeks time so I can stop using my phone from the 80s again which will be nice!

For december I am not going to bootcamp as such as I find that I am eating high fat food and then end up also eating carby food because of everything that is going on, so I am doing what I did (successfully in dec last year). Basically porridge for breakfast then I usually have a salad or soup for lunch and then dinner is usually meat and veg. I am back taking my insulin again which also slows down my weight loss, but for me at the moment I think it is the best move as otherwise I tend to perhaps have a mince pie and then think f it and then stuff my face and then it all goes really horribly wrong. We are also still TTC #2 - it took a year of ttc after DD, then had a mc in jan/feb this year and nothing since so I think this has also affected my decision a bit, as despite reading lots of information, and despite believing that it doesn't affect it rationally, I am going back to what I was eating last december when we conceived. Anyway, sorry for the me, me, me post, I think because it has been a year since getting pregnant and mc I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself.

Jac - brilliant weight loss, you have done so well.
Dosh - good luck for the interviews this week.
BIWI - sounds like you had a lovely time last night.

Sorry I know that I have missed lots of you but hello!

WillieWaggledagger · 01/12/2012 14:59

WillieWaggledagger · 01/12/2012 15:07

apologies for being late with spreadsheet (again!) - went away yesterday to a nice hotel for our anniversary and have just got back

had an excellent meal last night, which was mostly low carb (pan-fried woodpigeon; roast lamb with spinach, garlic and olives) though i had a mouthful of pistachio shortbread, chantilly cream and raspberries. i had planned to eat it all as a treat, but actually although it was delicious just a taste was enough. i also had G&Ts and wine but they were worth it

ParceQueJeLeVauxBien · 01/12/2012 16:18

Happy anniversary, Willie! How many years?

Off to the MN meet up soon. Although I have to say [bah humbug emoticon] that I would far rather just be staying at home in my fleecy dressing gown! But lots of people have already dropped out, which is a shame, so I will still go along. I'm sure once I've got the first bottle glass of wine down my neck I will enter into the spirit of things Grin

Piffle · 01/12/2012 16:23

Mrs HP please don't be sorry for sharing how you are feeling. We are here to support one another through this journey. You've had a rotten time and you've got to do what's right for you. Hope this doesn't mean you are leaving us though?

Willie- happy anniversary! Sounds like you had a lovely time.

BIWI - hair of the dog and all that. Am working in the morning as I would have trekked down to the big smoke fir the meet up, enjoy!

DH getting curry for tea so debating what to have now. Can't wait for bedtime tbh - too old for drinking 😉

SingingTunelessly · 01/12/2012 16:38

Can I just say that thanks to the dress thread I have THE dress. Size flaming 10!!!! Ok it's a bit of a stretchy material and I put big pants on with it but I'm ignoring that bit. The size 12 is being returned oh yes. Grin Grin Grin

MrsHP, sorry you're having a down time. Take care of yourself and do what you have to but please don't leave us.

Hurrah Piffle!

ParceQueJeLeVauxBien · 01/12/2012 17:23

Singing - you are the one who did all the hard work, not me!

MrsHP - sorry things aren't going so well for you. But please stay with us!

SingingTunelessly · 01/12/2012 17:44

Yes but if it wasn't for you starting these threads I would never had tried low carbing tbh. Thought it was a ridiculous idea that you could lose weight by eating cheese, cream, fatty crispy pork belly, celeriac dauphinois, buttery vegetables ..... and also Atkins died of a heart attack don't you know ....... yada, yada, blah, blah ....... So it IS thanks to you. I just have to do the hard part of eating delicious food! And wearing a size 10 dress and big pants for a meal out in London next week. Woo hoo!

WillieWaggledagger · 01/12/2012 17:44

Excellent piffle and singing! Can you link to the dress?

Enjoy the meet up biwi!

Anniversary is eight years (we met first year of university). Yes people are constantly asking when we're going to get married!

ParceQueJeLeVauxBien · 01/12/2012 17:46

Hope I haven't missed anyone, am typing while cooking, feeding dog, sorting Ds broken Lego and trying to hang up washing. You know, a typical glamorous Saturday night chez toomuch.

B yoghurt with nuts
S cappuccino at M&S cafe Xmas Blush
L scrambled eggs with butter and cream
D a sort of version of the IPD butter chicken, don't have all the spices but have chucked in what I have and will see how it turns out. Smelling ok so far!

Have a good night everyone, whatever you are up to.

SingingTunelessly · 01/12/2012 18:23
