Morning!

And what a truly horrible morning it is.

Here is the spreadsheet to confess all

Let's see what we can do in the next/last two weeks. A couple of strict weeks to finish Bootcamp and hopefully we can shift some serious pounds.

Well, as cheats go, it could have been a lot worse!

Good luck tomorrow.

Dosh- I ended up having peanuts for lunch. Badly planned and was all I had in my desk. Carb count didn't seem to bad on the ones I bought though (touches wood)

Piffle- well done you! I'm loving your menu and am going to pinch the sprouts and pancetta idea

Dosh - missed last bit of your post. Good luck for tomorrow. Is it a new company or internal interview? Knock 'em dead (disclaimer-not literally)

Good luck Dosh. Read the v. funny thread about interview cock-ups if you're feeling nervous and be safe in the knowledge that at least you won't slip up on a potato. No potato slip-ups on bootcamp!

Piffle that Christmas lunch menu sounds delish. I'm doing dinner for ten (and rising...) so am looking for inspiration.

yesterday:
B: Lidl yog
L: chicken salad
D: bacon and spinach crustless quiche

today:
B: yog
L: leftover quiche
D: lime & soy marinated salmon (Lidl salmon is super-cheap!)

Well done, Piffle, and thinking of you this morning, Dosh!

Down to 9.6 (and a quarter) this morning, so have undone the weekend damage, and lost a little more. Tantalisingly close to my 2 stone mark now. Hopefully a good day today might see me get there. (Because the weekend coming up certainly won't)

This unexpected period is quite sore :( I havent had one in over 11 years, s its quite a shock to the system! Its only mild to heavy spotting, but it is painful. Hoping it ends soon, my flatter tummy has disappeared with the bloating!

Dinner last night was yum, belly pork & "zoodles". Going to have the zoodles again tonight because they were so nice, with steak this time.

Just had 2 eggs scrambled with butter & cream - delish.

Porky I am heading for menopause and had gone 10 months without a period but had one shortly after starting LCing. Mine was a proper one, very achey, and I have had a couple of spotting episodes since. I wonder if my hormones are rebalancing somehow.

What are zoodles? Sounds very interesting.

DD and I are both feeling rather queasy today, I'm just hoping it's not a build up to the vomity bug my poor old mum has had all week.

Thanks all!!! It's this avo at 2.30 - with a recruitment agency rather than a prospective employer but they refuse to put me forward for jobs until they have met me, and I will treat it as a full on interview.

Well Sausage Surprise wasn't a particurly pleasant one after all - I have been on the loo since the early hours, my tummy is NOT happy. Sad I think DH made it with a sachet sauce - something is not agreeing with me. Can't be the peanuts I eat loads of PB.....Confused

Well today the bacon and eggs are on board now.
Lunch is going to be cold meats and salad and cheeses
Dinner is Thai salmon fishcakes from IPD cookbook and a thai dressed salad

snacks, today might be a shake with soy milk. no rhubarb left :( Have low cal jelly and cream BUT I loathe artificial sweeteners so we shall see

I have a lovely day today! Started with session at the gym with the PT, and shortly I'm heading off to Kingston for an appointment with a jewellery designer. I'm going to spend the money from the insurance from our burglary, back in February. I haven't been able to buy any pieces that I like, hence the designer appointment. I'm also taking some rings that my mum left me, to see if the designer can use the stones/gold from them.

Feels very wicked and self-indulgent to be spending this amount of money just on me. (What a hardship I hear you all cry ...)

Breakfast (pre-gym) - yoghurt and vanilla
Lunch (will be) scrambled eggs - still on a bit of a protein kick this week
Dinner (will be) low carb sausages, leftover mashed swede from last night and broccoli.

Dosh - I hope all's going well
Jan - do something nice for yourself too while you're childfree
Biwi - I hope you can get something fabulous today. What a lovely idea to include your mum's pieces too.

Not feeling great today. Left uni at 10 as I was all cold & shakey. Came home & slept on the sofa for 3 hours, but feel a bit queasy now. Hopefully it passes soon as it's parent's evening tonight & I def need a clear head. DS has ASD & it's never a straight forward meeting.

Meant to be having a low carb fry up tonight - lets see how it goes Smile

Hope it all went well doshu. BIWI - I used to live near Kingston and it's lovely - and a lovely idea to use your mum's jewellery on something new. Hurricane - hope you're feeling better soon - sounds like flu, poor you!

I'm off to Nuremberg for the Xmas markets in the morning, so will prob have a rather carb-mental weekend (sausages, gluhwein, chocs, gingerbread) in fact I really don't think much low-carb will pass these lips in the next few days Sad - on the bright side, I'm taking the dc so will be lots of running about, and also shivering (minus 4 predicted!)

Hurracaine, hope you're feeling better now.

BIWI, trust you had a great day choosing jewellery. When we had to do that a few years ago in similar circumstances it was a bit touched with sadness as you can't replace sentimentality but incorporating your mum's pieces is a lovely idea.

Jan, hope you've managed to cook loads of goodies. I love batch cooking.

Newstart, hope you're feeling better sounds like like life is a bit tough. Take care of yourself. Have a unmumsnetty hug.

Am really, really struggling with water now it's so flipping cold. Food ok though. D: pork chops, celeriac dauphinois and green beans.

Humph, your confession of a plum made me Grin.

Dosh, how did you get on?

Willie, hope you're not locked out for too long. Too cold tonight.
