Come and weigh in:

docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmNIskihgXotdFVPcF9zWUhIal9BbTl5SnlTM3BlWVE#gid=0

Glad to see the losses so far!

I'm taking my weight as of last Friday, as I know that my weekend will have affected things. Yesterday wasn't too bad a day, although we went out for a Thai meal and even though I made the best choices I could, some of the food was definitely too sweet.

Now that I've got this weekend out of the way, it's back to it.

There's also a very interesting article for you to read, about leptin, the hormone that controls hunger:

I am feeling very meh today, had a rush about morning then a lazy afternoon (Ds at a play date) and am feeling very blah. Not sure if its a cold or TOTM coming. Maybe both at once, wayhay.

Early B (sodding dog) oatbran made with water and double cream, in the hope of encouraging a movement before Monday
Proper B chilli, garlic, third of tin chopped toms, egg, grated cheese all cooked and eaten straight from saucepan, yum (nigella egg in purgatory)
L 2 slices ham, cube cheese, few olives, big tub egg mayo
D mushrooms, leeks, spinach and about 6 small pieces chorizo fried in butter and chilli oil

Reading it back, I think my craving for chilli means it could be a cold/bug starting as I sometimes feel the need for heat to burn yuk out. Oh joy. I have also tried to drink more water today as well as a couple of decaf coffees with cream.

Notagain - I don't do any excersize, apart from walking (I don't drive) and I'm still losing. I wouldn't worry about it too much while it's still coming off.

Well, I might've had a low carb birthday cake, but wasn't too great afterwards Blush. Gained 4.5 lbs in two days Blush. Fasted till dinner today and have drank loads of water in a bid to get back to where I was come Monday. Will prob do the same tomorrow.

In other news I have killed my slow cooker & am feeling bereft. Didn't realise how much I relied on it till now. Def new one once I get paid!

CaptainMugwash · 03/11/2012 22:24

I am going to buy new ones. I have been thinking that at least they must have been consistent, if not accurate. Usually tell me I'm 10st nekkid, post wee (tmi) Dr's said I was almost 11, dressed (no shoes) after a capuccino

My face looks loads thinner, not puffy, and I generally feel less puffy all over. Everything ws feeling swollen and bloated, even my shoulders felt bloated. disgusting. Anyway, will get down to argos and invest in proper scales & report back!

hope you all have fun bonfire parties etc!

Doshusallie · 03/11/2012 22:27

Well after an evening of mulled wine I have proper gut rot. Ate about 6 sausages as only thing low carb at party. Really really really need to eat some salad and veg. Will try and make up for it tomorrow.

Fireworks and bonfire party was super fun. Came home just now and had a rock out with the boys to some fab music, zz top, def leopard, acdc, ds2 loves all that ever since he saw school of rock, we were all air guitaring. Grin

SingingTunelessly · 03/11/2012 23:16

Dosh Grin. I am such a bad dancer I always look if I'm playing the air guitar even when I'm not.

Did the Nigel Slater ricotta burgers tonight for our bonfire party and they were delicious. The low carb rolls were great I have to say. I ended up having two of them. Blush

Doshusallie · 04/11/2012 11:19

Greek yoghurt for brekkie.

My tummy is really not happy this morning, I am blaming the mulled wine.

My converted friend has now lost 6 pounds since last Monday and she is delighted.

captainmummy · 04/11/2012 11:55

Lovely lie-in this morning! Was a beautiful day early on, but raining again now.

Brek was yog, plus coffee with cream. 1 pint water.

Just pur the beef in the slow-cooker for stew later, will do dumplings (dumplings!) for the boys, and cauli-cheese for me.

Captainmugwash 3/4 of a stone difference is I supppose not too bad, with clothes, and having eaten/drunk. A pair of Jeans would be at least half that. Still, good scales are a good idea.

toomuchmonthatendofthemoney · 04/11/2012 12:17

B 2 poached eggs on watercress salad and a slice of mustard ham. And very pretty it looked too. DH made me a coffee, but put milk in it instead of cream, it didn't taste as nice, funny how quickly tastes change and adapt!

WineGless · 04/11/2012 13:04

Hi everyone
Just home from the hen do and feeling grim- all m own fault Wink

Had a great night and the food was Greek so had meatballs and chicken kebab with Greek salad. I find my hangovers are a lot worse on this WOE. Another good reason to cut down the booze. Looking forward to detoxing for the next month tbh!l

BIWI - hope you had great time with the twitterati. Any goss?
Viper glad to hear about the loss, just not the method Wink
Happy Sunday to everyone else - off for a snooze now

vnmum · 04/11/2012 13:52

Went to lidl today for a shop and came out with some stollen! Why?
I blame Mme for talking about German comfort foods last night on Twitter Wink

JUst had scrambled egg with boursin and coleslaw for lunch and having homemade burgers and salad for tea.

Shagmundfreud · 04/11/2012 14:00

Haven't been on for a while or filled in the spreadsheet.

Am still sticking to diet though!

And actually after a couple of weeks where I'd stalled, the weight is starting to come off again. Really in the swing of things, especially now I've realised I can eat tomatoes and it doesn't cause any problems. I might need to cut my cheese consumption a bit over the next few weeks. I find I'm eating worrying amounts.....

Shagmundfreud · 04/11/2012 14:03

Can't see myself of the spreadsheet Confused

BIWI · 04/11/2012 14:13

Oh dear, what a weekend of it Grin Lovely fireworks party last night, all catered, and I had a very mindful 'fuck it' moment when the puddings came out. Very unusual for me as I'm not really a pudding person. But chocolate sticky toffee pudding with cream was just irresistible Blush

So I won't be weighing tomorrow as there is absolutely no point.

No goss from the Twitter night out. What goes on on a tweet-up stays on a tweet-up and all that Wink

Shagmundfreud · 04/11/2012 14:20

BIWI - is this a new spreadsheet? I don't seem to be on it.

But I'm still losing weight! Hurrah!

Would like to weigh in tomorrow.

BIWI · 04/11/2012 14:24

Have you weighed in every week, Shagmund? If not, Willie may have archived you.

I'm sure she will reinstate you though.

Doshusallie · 04/11/2012 14:42

Wine I agree re hangovers being worse.

I have been to the gym and feel better though.

Lunch was a 3 egg mushroom omelette with side salad and mayo.

Have also had 2 teaspoons of peanut butter.

Shagmundfreud · 04/11/2012 14:46

I think I've been archived then. Smile

Can I add myself in?

Jacaqueen · 04/11/2012 15:48

Don't talk to me about hangovers.

I was out on Friday night and I am only just starting to feel normal.

Felt so bad yesterday and I succumbed to a greasy Scotch pie.

Heaven knows what the scales will say.

Ilovemyteddy · 04/11/2012 15:58

Woohoo! 161.4 this morning so that's exactly 63lbs down (4 and a half stones in old money.) I am well chuffed particularly since I had a Burger King on Friday and ate the bun as well as the burger Blush
Only a stone to go to reach my target, although I think I need to lose more as there is still quite a lot of me Grin

Back in March/April my friend gave me two pairs of jeans that I couldn't get past my calves. One pair is now too big and the others fit perfectly. I love this WOE .

Lavendersbluedillydilly1969 · 04/11/2012 16:09

Well done ILoveMyTeddy that's an amazing loss. I've been very good but only dropped a pound so not hopeful of tomorrow ls weigh in. D will be roast need with loads of veggies, DC will have roast potatoes and yorkshires too.
Surprised Friday nights wine and curry haven't made me feel worse but thankfully no cravings although yesterday afternoon I had the mother of all headaches.

WillieWaggledagger · 04/11/2012 16:24

That is amazing ilovemyteddy

Sorry shagmund for the purposes of accurate averages I archive those who haven't weighed in for two weeks running. I'll reinstate you when I'm back in front of the computer tomorrow.

BIWI · 04/11/2012 16:39

Thanks Ilovemyteddy

WineGless · 04/11/2012 16:50

Well done ilovemyteddy!! That is brilliant
