Come and weigh in:

docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmNIskihgXotdFVPcF9zWUhIal9BbTl5SnlTM3BlWVE#gid=0

Glad to see the losses so far!

I'm taking my weight as of last Friday, as I know that my weekend will have affected things. Yesterday wasn't too bad a day, although we went out for a Thai meal and even though I made the best choices I could, some of the food was definitely too sweet.

Now that I've got this weekend out of the way, it's back to it.

There's also a very interesting article for you to read, about leptin, the hormone that controls hunger:

Blimey - will you shut up with all that roaring, Shagmund? Grin

I have had a lovely dreadful last few days. Way, way too much booze, and far too many carbs. I'm going to have to be super, super strict over the next few days to even maintain my weight never mind lose any more.

But - I am gradually beginning to feel that this is me for the rest of my life - a really sustainable way of eating, with the occasional indulgence. And I can really manage that.

Being realistic, I only really want to lose half a stone more. And I know that losing it gradually, which is what I have been doing, is absolutely the best and most sustainable way to do it.

Thanks willie!

Can I just boast that I went to Pizza Exress today and didn't eat any carbs. None. Not even a taste of the kids doughballs , DH's pizza, or Dd's tiramisu. Or the garlic bread that came with my yummy salad.

I dieting! Hear me roar!

Well done ilove

I still feel a bit bleurgh today, wish whatever it is would just get on with it!
B 2 poached eggs on a slice of ham and watercress salad
L wasn't very hungry after later B so just had a few olives, couple of spoons of yoghurt and a slice of cheese
D bag of rocket salad (70g) and packet of mini chicken fillets from Tesco (en route. DH and Ds had MacDonald chips, the feckers, so I had to sit in a chip smelling car for an hour eating my salad)

Not looking forward to weigh in. I feel heavier this week than last and I keep remembering my cheat this week (bakewell cake). Otherwise I have stuck to bootcamp. Good luck everyone, hope its good news!!

Well done ilove - you have made me feel inspired to get back on track. For some reason I have been a shambles this week and was even more Blush about it when willie named me as a big loser last week. I deffo have put on weight, but am going to weigh, log it on the spreadsheet and make sure that next week I go down and get under this blooming 16 stone mark. I think that would be a big motivator to keep going again...

Ilovemy teddy that's an amazing weightloss and quite inspiring to those of us with a long way to go. How long has that taken you?

I have had a horrid, hungry day which I am blaming on the carbs I cheated with yesterday in the aftermath of the sugarfree sweets debacle.

Today I have eaten -
B: None, felt icky so had hot water with lemon slice
L: Bacon, sausage, 2 eggs, creamed mushrooms
T: Mini-Tapas thingies. Chicken, green beans, roasted butternut squash (I know it's not bootcamp but it's lowish carb)

I am now so starving I'm craving something, I just can't decide what yet. Confused

Gosh yes I second the hangovers being ten times worse.
Hope you've all had good weekends. We've just had a toddler-friendly firework display in the garden which went down very well until the neighbours let off a massive rocket which sent both DTs shrieking back into the house in hysterics Grin
Pretty sure I won't have lost this week so I'm going to enjoy a glass or two of wine tonight as my mum's staying.

Well done ILoveMyTeddy that's an amazing loss. I've been very good but only dropped a pound so not hopeful of tomorrow ls weigh in. D will be roast need with loads of veggies, DC will have roast potatoes and yorkshires too.
Surprised Friday nights wine and curry haven't made me feel worse but thankfully no cravings although yesterday afternoon I had the mother of all headaches.

Woohoo! 161.4 this morning so that's exactly 63lbs down (4 and a half stones in old money.) I am well chuffed particularly since I had a Burger King on Friday and ate the bun as well as the burger Blush
Only a stone to go to reach my target, although I think I need to lose more as there is still quite a lot of me Grin

Back in March/April my friend gave me two pairs of jeans that I couldn't get past my calves. One pair is now too big and the others fit perfectly. I love this WOE .

Don't talk to me about hangovers.

I was out on Friday night and I am only just starting to feel normal.

Felt so bad yesterday and I succumbed to a greasy Scotch pie.

Heaven knows what the scales will say.

Shagmundfreud · 04/11/2012 14:46

I think I've been archived then. Smile

Can I add myself in?

Report
Doshusallie · 04/11/2012 14:42

Wine I agree re hangovers being worse.

I have been to the gym and feel better though.

Lunch was a 3 egg mushroom omelette with side salad and mayo.

Have also had 2 teaspoons of peanut butter.

Have you weighed in every week, Shagmund? If not, Willie may have archived you.

I'm sure she will reinstate you though.

But I'm still losing weight! Hurrah!

Would like to weigh in tomorrow.

Oh dear, what a weekend of it Grin Lovely fireworks party last night, all catered, and I had a very mindful 'fuck it' moment when the puddings came out. Very unusual for me as I'm not really a pudding person. But chocolate sticky toffee pudding with cream was just irresistible Blush

So I won't be weighing tomorrow as there is absolutely no point.

No goss from the Twitter night out. What goes on on a tweet-up stays on a tweet-up and all that Wink

Can't see myself of the spreadsheet Confused

Report
Shagmundfreud · 04/11/2012 14:00

Haven't been on for a while or filled in the spreadsheet.

Am still sticking to diet though!

And actually after a couple of weeks where I'd stalled, the weight is starting to come off again. Really in the swing of things, especially now I've realised I can eat tomatoes and it doesn't cause any problems. I might need to cut my cheese consumption a bit over the next few weeks. I find I'm eating worrying amounts.....
