Throwing new fuel on the Bootcamp Camp Fire

Here is the new, shiny thread. Only three weeks or so to go until we swing into really strict mode!

I am about to fall into the vat of wine.

My post of yesterday seems trite compared to the horror of todaY.

For those who don't know two colleagues on GMP were shot dead this morning and a premeditated attack.
I am not posting because I need sympathy but I need to fall off the wagon tonight. Poor excuse but I'll be back tomorrow

queribus - how about those cream cheese pancake/wrap thingies for breakfast? Just make them the day before (literally 1 oz cream cheese/1 egg whisked togather, multiply as needed) and roll them with cheese/ham/mushrooms - is marmite allowed? They are actually nicer hot so I'd microwave first but they are edible cold too.

sharon - bloody hell! I'm so sorry about your colleagues. It sounds too horrific for words. I can't believe there are people who would actually lure police officers to their deaths! I think you can be excused the wine.

My breakfast dilemma is a bit pathetic, but thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely try the salmon/cream cheese rolls.

I know what you mean about these threads Sharon. They are incredbily supportive. I heard a very moving tribute to the women earlier, it sounded completely heartfelt and was heartbreaking to listen to.

I really don't know why I stopped posting. I was never the most prolific sharer on this thread but I have really missed it.

I love the camaraderie on these threads. I think it's so important to be able to share this stuff. DH is interested, but only to a point, and certainly not in the finer details of the diet!

I think it's one of the reasons why the QS comments were so upsetting, as the rest of these threads are so friendly, helpful and supportive.

Oh Sharon, what a completely horrific situation. My thoughts are with you and your colleagues.

Nothing to report foodwise - just plodding on until start of Oct - I'm back from hols on 3rd so will do proper bootcamp then.
