Well done!!

8lbs!!!!!

go and pick up somehting that weighs 8lbs and that will make you happier!!

I do know what you mean tho' I have done my fair share of loosing half a stone in a week by starving myself, but it goes back on straightaway at this pace you will keep it off forever Grin

KBear · 18/04/2006 20:49

See - I really like you lil - you say all the right things!

DH being sweet and saying how baggy my tracky bottoms look now compared to when I started! (no mention of my body like a goddess but hey!).

Taken all my measurements again - lost over 9 overall so doing well there. That keeps me going and I know that slow weight loss is better for you, I will buck my ideas up and work on the next pound!

Evenin'!!

I'm knackered!! Well and truly knackered, we had a wonderful day, spent 6 hours in there, never stopped either swimming, sliding, going in the rapids, climbing stairs for slides, or being in the wave pool. Dd had a day off so she came too.

Did have a veggie burger and half a portion of chips for lunch Blush but worked that hard I'm sure it won't have sank straight to my hips.

I'm now enjoying a g&t before The Apprentice while dh makes tea.

BTW, if you want to feel good about yourself when your dd is a bit older can I suggest never walking round a pool next to her. Dd is 5'8", a size 8/10 and was wearing a tiny bikini, I'm 5'5", a long way off a size 8 and was in sensible black costume.

I felt like Granny Grunt!

Where do you come from? If you are within driving distance of Stoke, I really recommned Waterworld.

KBear · 19/04/2006 20:53

LOL - Hi Lilibet!! I'm in SE London so bit of a trek to Stoke. Sounds like a great place though.

What's this I'm hearing about chips???? eh? eh? Is that on the plan then? hmmmmmmm? I'll let you off this once due to the 6 hours of exercise!

Good luck for tomorrow.

Even more of a trek to Scotland?

How long will that take you?

KBear · 20/04/2006 12:18

Takes us 12 hours - we go overnight - 500 miles door to door. We take our time and stop lots so we all have a break. It's so worth it though. I love it, counting the minutes til we go. Didn't go last year and missed it so much. Been going there my whole life, it's home from home! Must make mental note not to eat the Orkney Fudge though this year!!!

lilibet · 20/04/2006 12:28

That's not bad actually - we go to France every year, this year we are doing Wigan to Paris in a day!

lilibet · 21/04/2006 10:20
Sad

stayed the same

KBear · 21/04/2006 11:49

Sad - bummer.

Fire yourself up for losing this week. Depressing though isn't it?! My mum lost half a pound last night (WW) - she was a bit PO'd. We do try to motivate each other though.

I ate chocolate last night - I was cross with myself after but I'd had a stressful day at work and got in and DB came round with Easter eggs which the kids broke into and I found I had no willpower to stop myself nicking some!!

Keep at it lil!

On the straight and narrow so far this weekend.

I'm about to go for a walk and do some gardening (ok plant three plants!)

Where is Gnl?

Has she deserted us?

I'm going to need her here when you have lost your weight to keep me company.

Gnl and I have more to loose than you Sad, you'll be swanning around all slim and gorgeous and I'll still be here talking to myself if she doesn't come back!

COME BACK GNL!!!

KBear · 22/04/2006 17:05

LOL!

I'm having a bad coupla days actually. It's the drug that is chocolate! It's everywhere and I keep nicking little bits from the kids eggs! I'm being virtuous tonight though, DH and the kids are having KFC and I'm having steamed fish and veg. BOR-ING but I will be PO'd on Monday if I haven't lost anything.

Done loads of gardening today - serious stuff (back aching stuff!) and was sensible at lunchtime too. I want to get under 11 stone this week, am currently 11.1 so two pounds please Rosemary!

Havenot been to wiegh in for 2 weeks Blush and have eaten lots, it started with dd's milky bar eggs and seems to have got out of control Sad really must sort mysdelf out as I wanted to be a size 16 for SIL's wedding on 20th MAy. want a new dress, and not in size 18. Please feel free to give me massive kicks up the bum and keep egging me on. On plus side, I have not snacked much but have kinda gone off the rails with meals

lilibet · 24/04/2006 12:29

Glad to see you!!

Buy a pedometer - you cna get them for about a pound, it really will get you moving more.

20th may is four weeks off - with determination you can loose half a stone in four weeks.

You can do it!!

gingernutlover · 24/04/2006 13:56

thanks for the encouragement lillibet. where can I get a pedometer for a pound? All the ones on ebay seem to be at least £4.

lilibet · 25/04/2006 09:22

Do you have any poundsaver shops near you? They ususally have them

I have taken the brave step of measuring myself, but I have done it in centimeteres as I can't convert easily so I didn't really have any idea what they were but I will be able to see progress!

KBear · 25/04/2006 12:44

Feeling nervous about tonight although I have been swimming today (44 lengths) and aqua aerobics yesterday and I've been very sensible with food since my Saturday night choc attack.

Wearing combats today that were previously at the bottom of the drawer because they didn't fit Grin

Just done my measurements - 14.5 inches lost all over so far. I am in shock about that but I've checked it four times. Hope I get a good result tonight at weigh-in.

Good luck for the week gals.
