I think Davina is very good - she doesn't take it too seriously and they show you easy versions!

I'm hoping for a loss tonight - but we have a very big weeknd planned so I really must get some exercise done

KBear · 22/06/2006 14:56

good luck for tonight then - let me know.....

1lb on

KBear · 22/06/2006 19:37

Oh, lil - for you. We were doing so well and it's all gone pear-shaped (like me!).

Right, we need a plan....

lilibet · 22/06/2006 21:54

had a very bad night with dd and a bald eyebrow - dh gone to the shop for wine

Tell me about this plan?

We have tickets for a free meal and drinks in the executive lounge at the rugby league game tomorrow night, I have 9 for a meal on saturday and then it's everyone here on sunday for the footie

Is it too short notice to get my jaw wired?

Actually out of 15 of us at class tomight only three had lost anything so I reckon they are putting something in the water

Hello there.
Sorry to hear that you're having some downs at the moment but fret not, getting back up again can be easily done.
I met someone who had lost about 40lbs in a year (and they looked really good!). That averages at less than a lb a week as they had weeks where they'd put on, not lost etc too.
I feel like I should be leaving this thread as I just joined WW.
My weigh in weight was 10st 6lbs! I was well chuffed!
Hope you all do better next week.

Well last night was a disaster, we went to this free meal and drinks and the veggie option was a brie and roassted red onion tart it was gorgeous, can't remember the last time I ate pastry. After I had polished that off it seemed silly to refuse the pecan and bourboun tart with double cream, and after that what was the point in hot having some cheese and biscuits?

Hardly a balanced meal - pastry in two courses adn cheese in two courses but after the amount of wine I had drunk I hardly cared

Hi there,

New to the site and to RC (joined last week).

Not finding the first few days too hard, but as it's weekend I have been keeping myself busy so no to think about food.

I am surprise at how easy I've found the no alcohol rule, although I will be having a couple of drinks this afternoon while the footy is on. I have kept below the 1200 calories all week though so hopefully I will be OK.

I know it's a cheat in the first week but I could get through a couple of bottles of wine over the weekend so it's a lot less than I'm used to.

My weigh-in is Thursday, so it gives me a food few days to get over the weekend anyway and I go to a hi-impact aerobics class on a Tuesday so I will burn the calories away (fingers crossed).

It's good to read through your threads and see how positive people are on here and how well people are doing. I've got 8 weeks until my holidays and hoping to lose a stone by then . . .

Just off to do some housework now, so hopefully burn off a few more calories that way.

I'll keep you all posted.

KBear · 25/06/2006 10:33

It's going well then lil!! PSML

I went to a BBQ last night - the usual grub, drank a bottle of wine. Today, school fete, will be spending afternoon in beer tent (raising funds you understand!!!).

We're all doomed Cap'n, we're all doomed!

Hi All

Not been on for a few days as super busy at the weekend - put 1/2lb on last week so think you are right lilibet and there's something in the water. Have got back on track though and done lots more exercise this week. Class on thursday, dvd and swimming on friday and exercise class today. Finding the exercise is definitely helping me not to eat so much and horrible hangover yesterday that put me off food all day - not sure is the way RC would recommend losing weight! Hoping to start losing again this Thursday!

Blimey, it's weigh day for me again - don't they come round quick! Not feeling hopeful. Been swimming today but I don't think that will counteract this weekend's carry on! My mind's all wrong - before my hol I was all fired up and enthusiastic but I'm in complete can't be arsed mode at the moment.

It was getting easier but I've got into bad habits again. Kick up arse for me too please.

we've all gone very quiet..............

KBear · 04/07/2006 19:58

I'm still here, drinking my weight in water to cool down after the class tonight. Am seriously thinking about throwing myself into the pool we just got for the kids. It's very inviting but a tad too cold for me I think!

Ooh, by the way, lost 1.5lb again tonight. 1lb to go to get back to pre-holiday weight.

Smiley bear tonight!

Right, where is everyone? Don't leave me here on my own!

I have been fairly healthy this week (apart from making birthday cake for my mum and eating some of it!).

Whatcha been doing then?

OP posts:
KBear · 11/07/2006 17:11

ah, you must all be on holiday eating lots of lovely things and not caring! I'll talk to myself.... I'm going to the class tonight with very little hope of any loss and a busted knee so no aerobics for me! (YAY). Did gentle swimming today but not much fat burning going on.

OP posts:
KBear · 12/07/2006 10:52
