Hmph, been in a bad mood all afternoon.

Was stuck in uni til 4, so couldn't go to the gym, or I would have got in quite late and inconvenienced the family re: meals etc.

Never get in the way of me when I have my heart set on a gym session. If I don't get one, I get grumpy Grin

StealthPolarBear · 14/08/2012 20:18

Me toomm, you'll still lose weightbut not as much as you would have .so still a success

slothprincess · 14/08/2012 20:36

IMSP, your dinner sounds delicious. I love falafel. And Oblomov, I'm actually drooling at your holiday breakfasts. We're probably going out for brekkie tomorrow and I've got my heart set on eggs benedict. Yummy!

I've had a couple of nice holiday treats today but all pretty much within my MFP calories and fat. If I can maintain this week I'll be very content with that as I've got 2 dinners out as well as birthday celebrations.

InMySpareTime · 15/08/2012 06:26

Good morning everyone, how about a work your waist Wednesday ? I for one would like to reel in some skin around there, now I'm not using it to store fatGrin.

sagelynodding · 15/08/2012 06:51

Good morning! I am up for working my waist! I had weigh in Wednesday 1lb and a bit more off! Just a tiny bit more and my BMI will be just in a healthy range!!

Got the dc at home today asit's a bank holiday here so we are going to try jogging wit the pushchair (ds1 cycling) then hit the beach-I will swim and do some crunches.

Keep up the good work everyone :)

sleepychunky · 15/08/2012 06:53

Morning from here too - I've had 2 small boys up with me since 6 so my thoughts of doing an early morning DVD have gone out of the window. It's my weigh in today and since last Wednesday I've lost 1lb, although I know (from sneaky mid-week weigh-ins) that I've been up and down. I've lost a stone now (in 4 weeks) but something tells me that the rest is going to be much harder work.

reastie · 15/08/2012 07:00

inmy that sounds yum!

stealth yipee with the thighs not rubbing Envy

Work your waist wednesday? That sounds good.

I watched the first episode of hairy bikers weight loss program on iplayer yesterday and was completely Shock that the short dark haired one was the same weight as my start weight and my body fat was higher Shock Shock Shock Sad - I don't imagine I was as big as him but maybe I was kidding myself and I was Hmm .

Weighed myself this morning and 15 st 8 3/4 - that's 2lbs less than yesterday Shock Grin . I know these things fluctuate but I was very happy - last week I wanted to get in to the 15 stones, this week I wanted to get into the 15 stones with single figures.

FWIW MFP gives me 1890 kcal allowance working on a 1 lb a week weight loss, but I seem to be always up to or exceeding the calories Blush yet still losing weight - maybe it's the exercise that makes the difference.

Feeling much more positive today although no one has commented or appeared to notice on my weight loss. Maybe it's like someone said earlier - you need to lose 2 stone when you're big for anyone to notice.

fivegomadindorset · 15/08/2012 07:06

Morning all, SW weigh in tonight so fingers crossed. Will not be unlocking myslef at work today to keep me away from temptation.

MilkshakeMaker · 15/08/2012 07:22

Work your waist Wednesday, that has a ring to it! Nothing to report, was a good girl yesterday, didn't even steal a bit of ds's gingerbread man

Good luck for today everyone, no excuses!

fluffyraggies · 15/08/2012 07:39

Morning :)

sleepy well done on that stone ! It does get trickier the less you've got too loose but you must be so motivated! It's great Grin

reastie - keep going. I'm sure you don't look anything like the hairy biker! I was horrified at my weight when i weighed myself for the first time last week - and it's spurred me on to stick at this - but we all carry weight differently. Even at different times in our lives. I weighed about the same as i do now at one point in my 20s. I looked worse than i do now as it was spread out differently Grin I was an apple back then - i'm an hour glass now!

AFM - skipped a SF yesterday. Not on purpose, just got too late in the afternoon to be having the 2nd one and i waited it out till dinner. That meant i had the same meal as everyone else (just a bit smaller) - breaded haddock, new potatoes and peas - and came in well under calories.

Zumba class tonight - first one - going alone - Lord Help Me!

Wednesday Will Power to all x

InMySpareTime · 15/08/2012 08:27

I had a sneaky weigh in just now (naughty, I know) and I'm at 12st 13Grin, BMI 35.45, even after breakfast.
I hope that sticks, I like the thought of being 12 something, even if I am still a very long way from even "overweight".
Salmon pasta with soft cheese for lunch, date night tonight, so fresh pasta ravioli with mediterranean veg sauce and a glass or two of wine

LollipopViolet · 15/08/2012 09:02

I've jus updated MFP, as I m now officially 12 stone 12! Yay! So my next official weigh in here might be a 2lb loss, if we go from Monday to Monday :)

chipsandmayonnaise · 15/08/2012 09:19

Morning all. Just checking in. Nothing to report. :) Hope everyone is well.

Can anyone on MFP help me - how (if at all) can you change the way it measures your weight from kilos to stone/lbs? The kilo thing is really frustrating me and gets me very confused!

eighty shame about the zumba - I know the feeling as I used to do a stomp class and it was my very very favourite class ever but they don't run it any more Sad

lollipop and inmy yeah!!

After feeling upbeat this morning I'm feeling down now - had my smear this morning where they weighed me. I have lost about 10 kilos since November but my BMI is far higher than I thought - I had been measuring mine at 5"7 but apparently I'm more 5"5 (tbh this is probably right, I think I just got confused). Those 2 inches have made a huge difference to my BMI and I'm feeling really down and fat now Sad

Itwillendinsmiles · 15/08/2012 13:39

Re. changing from kilos

Click settings on top tool bar

Then it.s near the bottom of the list that is on the account settings page

reastie · 15/08/2012 13:53

Excellent thanks itwill - all done and changed. If anyone fancies befriending me on MFP (I'm not that good at how to do these things yet Blush ) I'm reastie1 Grin

tumbletumble · 15/08/2012 14:20

Stealth that is fantastic about the thigh rubbing - possibly the single most annoying thing about being overweight IMO!

My friend has just texted asking if I want to go running tonight, so I have said yes even though I feel like I can't be arsed!

reastie 10kg is a fantastic loss so hold on to that! Maybe you need to recalculate your pre-loss BMI based on 5'5" to remind yourself how much yours has gone down?

HolofernesesHead · 15/08/2012 15:17

Hello all! Thus thread is so helpful to keep me on track! :) nothing much to report here. Had some gorgeous sushi for lunch...I'm trying to remember all my favourite low fat foods! Need something more protein based for dinner, so maybe omelette and salad.

Reastie, try not to get too down. Just think of all the success you've had so far, all the little milestones that are meaningful to you personally. Like....for me, a friend gave me a really lovely skirt from Hobbs a while back. A month ago, I was too big for it. I'm wearing it comfortably today! :)

fivegomadindorset · 15/08/2012 18:15

Crap, crap, crap, 1.5 on. I seem to spend two weeks losing and then to weeks putting on in the run up to AF. Second week of WW, I did lose a lot last week so wondering if it is balancing out?

littlemissstan · 15/08/2012 18:20

Oops. Went for lunch with a client. Had a whole mackerel, new potatoes and courgettes - so far, so good you might think, but was SWIMMING in the most gorgeous garlic butter. And then I accidentally had a pannacotta (was DIVINE). And a glass of champagne...

So I have come straight here to confess to you ladies, as if I didn't I will sack off the whole rest of day, so am coming to profess that I am having no dinner and plenty of water and back on the wagon tomorrow! Thank goodness I went spinning this morning :)

StealthPolarBear · 15/08/2012 19:08
