KatoPotato · 30/08/2012 18:44

Feeling the love ladies! Makes me feel better for grazing all day on wotsits and French bread with real butter!

In other news I was sorting my old bedroom at my dads yesterday (ridiculous, it's like a shrine!) and had great fun looking at some fabulously late nineties clothing! Hankie tips with metal hoop necks and suit jackets a-plenty! They'd probably fit again now which is comforting!

Looking forward to a nice bath tonight to prep my skin for a cheeky spray tan tomorrow. Rotisserie chicken for dinner with salad and wraps, possibly have some cals left over to get these chipotle crisps out of my life!

reastie · 30/08/2012 18:45

Those on MFP - do you ever do the stats on your nutrients etc? Never done it before but just tried and am Shock to discover I average at less than 10% of my RDI for iron. Have just ordered some dried peaches and apricots and watercress from ocado (I'm veggie). Also I often don't make over 80% of my calcium for the day at the minute. But I eat 3 times the 'normal' amount of fibre no wonder I always need the loo . On the plus side, I've had no trans fat at all in the past month. I wonder whether to take this with a pinch of salt or whether I seriously need to look at what nutrients I eat and altering my diet to make sure I get enough of everything. I have a very specific special diet so it is possible I lack stuff Hmm

BonkeyMollocks · 30/08/2012 18:46

Stats??
How'd you do that?

reastie · 30/08/2012 18:49

Go to reports at the top then choose what report you want to make, the foody ones are under nutrition

BonkeyMollocks · 30/08/2012 18:49

Ahh ok, thanks.

InMySpareTime · 30/08/2012 18:50

Reastie I take MFP stats with a pinch of salt as a lot of products don't list full nutritional information (several yoghurts and cheeses do not have calcium listed).
Check products you know contain certain nutrients to see if nutrients are listed.

reastie · 30/08/2012 19:03

Didn't know that inmy will check tomorrow and see. I thought I got a fair bit of calcium so you may well be right there

KatoPotato · 30/08/2012 19:04

Yeah remember a lot of it is user submitted and some only plug in the calories!

Where in Glasgow did you go for lunch?

LollipopViolet · 30/08/2012 19:36

2 ladies who work in my gym, who I see fairly regularly, said I looked really good today Grin

I bought some size 14 t-shirts for holiday, and they fit really well Grin

Good day today, I think :)

MilkshakeMaker · 30/08/2012 19:56

shucks you guys, getting me all warm and fuzzy!!

I've been good today...sort of..as in I didnt eat anything except 2 glasses of Asti til 5pm then had a tomato ricey chicken dish thing and a Orange! In all fairness though I've totally lost my appetite due to this wedding so I cant take the credit Grin

Hi all, early morning check-in for me. DH is on day shifts atm which means he gets up at 4.30 and it's almost impossible for me to sleep once he's up, so here I am.
We had a nice day out yesterday as it was our last chance to do something as a whole family before school goes back next week. We went to Gulliver's in Milton Keynes, which was a fair drive for us (2 hours) but the DSs loved it. I was very proud of myself as I made packed lunches for everybody and stuck to my usual lunch even though it was much more hassle than just making a sandwich. I may have had a few Pringles though Blush
I have now lost the equivalent of a car tyre according to that list which was posted upthread. As DH said, I haven't got a spare tyre any more!
For anybody following my dramas elsewhere, things appear to have settled down again with the ILs. We went to see them yesterday once we got back and all was as normal. I am more than relieved but also very conscious of all the comments I got on the other threads so will be treading v. carefully.
Anyway, today is my last day at home before I go back to work on Monday after 3 weeks off. Today I have to take back some dresses which I'm not wearing for a wedding next week, clean the fish tank and kitchen floor, do masses of boring filing, find a birthday present for a 3yo girl (anybody? I only have boys so don't know what to buy), accompany DS1 to his first swimming lesson of the new term and find somewhere that sells bedding for a toddler bed. I think I may be quite busy...

InMySpareTime · 31/08/2012 07:00

Good morning, the DCs are sleeping over at friends' houses but I felt a bit meh last night so we're going out for breakfast instead. How about a Feel good Friday
I for one will be enjoying the sunshine today until the PILs arrive this afternoon
Sleepychunky
3 year old girl present:
ELC do plenty of not too pink stuff
Craft kits from the Works
Anything with Hello Kitty onGrin

Mothercare do toddler bedding.

fivegomadindorset · 31/08/2012 07:03

Morning all, I am back in the zone I think, disaster avoided and I am the same weight as I was last Friday, so the blip has been controlled.

sleepychunky · 31/08/2012 07:19

Thanks IMST - I am going to a shopping centre with ELC and Mothercare, so that should be easy enough to do. Thanks!

Feel good Friday sounds good to me - I'm determined to make the most of today as DS1 is spending some time with my sister and DS2 is at nursery so I actually have some time just on my own - it never ceases to amaze me how much I can get done when it's just me.

StealthPolarBear · 31/08/2012 07:21

Morning everyone!
Sleepy I lurked on your threads, sorry never got a chance to post in support on your first (saw it too late) although on your second thread people were a lot more sensible. Your fil sounds like a child! My pils annoy me from time to time but they do do everything they can to help make our lives easier rather than harder with young children! Glad he's snapped out of it now.
Nochips, glad the appointment went well. Hopefully it was a complete one off!
Eighty, i feel the same about shred, that I want to be sailing through all the moves with little effort before I move up, but it doesbt work like that. I'm sure if I went baCk to l1 I'd still struggle and still be knackered at the end! I do think l2 is hard though, in different ways but its as hard as l3 in my opinion.
Haven't done shred for ages now but I literally haven't had time so don't feel too bad. I've also not had time to obsess about food, so had a good week eating wise. We're having a night away so going to not eat much today and then have slmething nice tonight. Day off tomorrow, and back to it, with shred, on sunday!

StealthPolarBear · 31/08/2012 07:25

Huge x post! Glad you're back with us five! Did I read that piste had left us :( hope you're ok piste
Sleepy, do you know what the 3yo is in to? My dd loves Minnie mouse and Tbh shed be happy with a bin bag if it had a picture of Minnie on (not that I'm suggesting you get a bin bag :o).

TheOneWithTheHair · 31/08/2012 09:15

Morning everyone. Wow it's the first time I've witnessed full moon madness on here. It feels like everyone you thought you could rely on has been flipped on its head. :(

TheOneWithTheHair · 31/08/2012 09:16

On a lighter note I didn't ruin my day with meals out or wine yesterday so another good day for me. :)

InMySpareTime · 31/08/2012 09:30

Hello again all, me & DH walked to town for breakfast, I had a bacon sandwich, he had a full English (but I had his mushrooms). It feels like the weekend already.
