sleepy something empire line maybe [clueless] ?? Boden still have a few bits in their summer clearance I think - there might be a nice dress there that was silly money and now just about manageable money

inmy enjoy 'spoons tonight Grin and yeah for someone noticing your newly thin face

Had another one of my mad IBS stomach attacks this afternoon that only eating will help Blush , it means I'm over calories for the day (or will be by the end of the day) but still within my maintaining weight calorie allowance (I think). Knew it was coming as I had a v stressful day with work yesterday involving ringing slightly irate parents re: their child's lower than expected exam grades. I'm not v good at confrontation and the whole thing made me physically shake Blush Confused .

marriedinwhite · 25/08/2012 19:14

A girlfriend and I worked our way through a bottle and a half of wine last night and I think I had more than her.

Got home late and woke up with a wry neck which has been very painful all day but has eased off with volterol and a heat pad. DD and I are home alone with weekend and have just polished off a Dominos with a wedge and chicken combo - and a bottle of Fanta Blush Sad

TheOneWithTheHair · 25/08/2012 19:16

reastie poor you. :( Surely they must have heard all about it on the news so know it's not your fault?

IMST I hope you feel better and enjoy your parents being here for the weekend.

sleepychunky · 25/08/2012 21:03

Well I ended up buying 4 dresses because I couldn't decide, and then had to do a fashion show for DH, DSis and DSs! I loved this dress but for one wear, and given the fact that I'm hoping not to fit into it for very long, decided not to keep it and am going for this instead.
Also forgot to eat lunch today as was too busy trying on dresses!

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/08/2012 08:12

Good morning everyone.

sleepy the Phase Eight one is gorgeous but I can understand why you don't won't to spend that kind of money for one wear.
The other one is fab too. I love emerald green.

How is everyone else getting on? It been reasonably quiet round here for the last few days. I've decided I might weigh on Tuesday instead
of Monday with it being bank holiday. Can you tell I'm putting it off?

fivegomadindorset · 26/08/2012 08:15

Morning all, a quick dip in as we are busy this weekend, holding my own weight wise which I am really pleased about. Off to a BBQ this afternoon though, eek!!. Have a Sunny Sunday.

MrsPnut · 26/08/2012 08:19

Morning, I haven't been around much and haven't weighed myself for more than a week.

Yesterday was operation clear out the garage, and today is operation clean the house. Tomorrow I am taking the kids camping for 3 nights by myself so I want the house to be clean before I go.

InMySpareTime · 26/08/2012 08:28

Good morning everyone, I actually had 3 pints last night, which was fairly good going considering everyone else had 5!
I feel all better today, weather depending we're either finishing felting the den roof or going to the imperial war museum.

reastie · 26/08/2012 08:28

Morning

yay to all these clean garages/houses/building of dens.

Yesterday was a washout for me. Weighed myself this morning and put on 5 lbs in 3 days - that can't be right surely Shock - I'm hoping it's just bloating fluctuations but feeling very unmotivated today. Been up with DD since 4:30 and that on top of a whole week of sleep depravation, teething and tatrums means I'm just done in and have no energy.

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/08/2012 08:31

MrsPnut that sounds exhausting! Do you enjoy camping?

IMST I'm glad you're feeling better. :) I think it's going to rain all day :(.

fivegomad enjoy the BBQ. Glad your doing well weight-wise.

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/08/2012 08:36

reastie poor you. :(

Don't worry about the 5lbs. I feel that if you put on a lot in a short space it is not a true reading but don't quote me on that

I hope your dd cuts her teeth quickly and starts sleeping. I always think that it is agony when I've cut a wisdom tooth so imagine having to do that 20 times. No wonder they're miserable.

MrsPnut · 26/08/2012 08:55

I love camping, except when it's set to rain every day - see the weather forecast for the Yorkshire Dales this week Sad

Reastie - it is probably water weight for it to have gone on so quickly. Hopefully it will come off equally quickly.

Have a great BBQ five, and IMST, glad you are feeling a bit better.

Currently giving myself a quick pedicure, because that is essential for cleaning the house and camping.

TheOneWithTheHair · 26/08/2012 10:19

See I love the idea of camping but I can't get over having to share a bathroom with a load of randoms and having to leave the dcs in the night if I want a wee (youngest is 3).

I'm not sure I'll ever get over the bathroom thing. Hmm

MrsPnut · 26/08/2012 10:23

It really does depend, the place we camped last weekend had spotless toilets and showers.
I do wear crocs though purely for going to the shower block.

The place we are going tomorrow is owned by my friend from school's parents so I know how clean the place will be already.

MrsPnut · 26/08/2012 10:25

And it really is incredibly safe, noise carries at night and you can usually see the tent from the toilet block.

We've been camping for years, DD2 first went at 5 weeks old.

LollipopViolet · 26/08/2012 15:00

Oooooh bad mood Angry

Must not eat cake/chocolate/crisps/everything in sight
Must get a job and get out of the family home.

I wasn't going to go to the gym tomorrow because the buses are at stupid intervals, but you know what? Any time I'm at home all day usually ends in me being shouted at, so I'm off out, going to take my stress out on the treadmill.

fivegomadindorset · 26/08/2012 15:10

Well my Sunday is going really badly but I have tomorrow planned out well to counteract any problems today.

InMySpareTime · 26/08/2012 15:15

I have walked soooo far today! 20 minutes each way to the trams, 10 minutes across to IWM from the tram each way, 2 hours ambling round the IWM, and all fuelled by only a BLTSmile. I am about to start bolting down the den roof now, so should be able to have my pick of dinner out later. I am getting better at picking out the lower calorie foods on menus without being too obvious about it (online menus with calorie information are very usefulGrin).

LollipopViolet · 26/08/2012 15:21

IMST - I hear you! Online menus are fabulous inventions, but not all places have them or make them easy to find :(

I feel calmer now, which is good, and I've not raided the fridge :)

The next week will be tough - 2 days at college, plus a wedding and an evening event on Sunday.

Hopefully I've lost another pound tomorrow and I can be good all week and lose another before Saturday so I feel awesome in my dress :)

Oh, I found a fascinator for the wedding - a cream affair, small but pretty and I think it suits me very well. DBoyfriend has got a nice suit and a red fabric thingy to go in the jacket pocket. We will look lovely :)

BonkeyMollocks · 26/08/2012 15:39

Im back...I think. Confused

Today had been miles better. If i can carry on than i should come in on cals !

Bought weigh in forward a day and I've put on a lb.

Hopefully i can start to separate food from everything else. Confused .

Will read back and catch up later and get more motivated!

sleepychunky · 26/08/2012 16:57

Well my day started well when the scales showed another lb off, so that's 19lb in total Smile Am feeling totally crap now - anybody who was on here on Thursday night knows I was feeling rubbish about an AIBU relating to my FIL and we went over to see them this afternoon. He's not speaking to me and now DH has said that if I'm not welcome in their house, then none of us are and so we are not going round there again until God knows when. Bearing in mind the DSs love their nanny in particular and we see them about 6 days a week, that's going to be difficult and I'm feeling as though it's all my fault Sad
Will not be eating to feel better but don't know what I will be doing as now DH has gone off to work feeling shit too and I'm left alone with the boys until 7 tomorrow morning.

Can you do me now please?

InMySpareTime · 26/08/2012 21:30

Could you cut portion sizes or up/change exercise to get your weight loss started again?
Have you got a goal to work towards, or interim goals to look forward to?

InMySpareTime · 26/08/2012 21:31

You're welcomeGrin
