Good morning and I am up for No Wibble Wednesday. That means that I have to go to spinning tonight, and not make excuses.

My dinner ended up being yum, not grim! But I could not find coconut essence in the shops so had half light coconut milk and half light creme fraiche. It tasted very good, especially with lots of chopped coriander and lemon juice on the top. I did succumb to a garlic naan though.

Might do soup and ryvitas during the day then a proper meal at night. Then I do not have to think about what to eat. Tonight will be baked salmon with rice and greens.

Every time I lose a little bit of weight I run the risk of becoming complacent, so today I need to keep the focus.

fivegomadindorset · 22/08/2012 07:04

Well done LV, keep going.

Well I am feeling chuffed that my weight (yet again) has shifted down into the next stone bracket. Hoping it may stay there now and slowly go down.

So heres to no wibble wednesday.

reastie · 22/08/2012 07:39

lollipop Grin to sage being just a herb

Yesterday was relatively good food wise. But we put DD in he own big girls bed for the first time last night which meant she was awake at 5am having fallen on the floor despite 2 bed guards. Luckily we had lots of cushions so no tears but I. Am. So. Tired. AF arrived today too so feeling very hormonal.

On the plus side, weighed myself this morning and in the past >3 weeks I've lost about 6 lbs

Oh, and I've booked myself into salsa aerobics and zumba on Friday morning - unsure which to do but not sure if I've got the stamina for both straight after each other Hmm

MrsPnut · 22/08/2012 08:00

Morning,
LV, glad yesterday went well and good luck with Sage. 50 is great but 200 is an absolute pig.
IMST, hope date night goes well.
Chips, enjoy spinning.
Five, yay for next stone bracket.
Reastie, hurrah for losses.

This morning I am taking DD2 to see Brave, and then to the golden arches afterwards. I shall take a bottle of water and wait until I get home for my lunch.

littlemissstan · 22/08/2012 09:17

I may have a teeny tiny hangover... Work barbecue last night involved a tonne of champagne and a whole load of food... Oops. Tried to mfp it all and I reckon I was about 500 cals over for yesterday Blush

However, I think the important thing is to get straight back in the saddle! So although my stomach is demanding something greasy I am eating weetabix with skimmed milk and telling it to be quiet :)

Well done everyone, seems like a lot of losses this week!

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/08/2012 11:20

littlemissstan two pints of water and a couple of paracetamol will sort you out! :) Sounds like a good do though.

InMySpareTime · 22/08/2012 14:27

I'm down to only 5DCs now, and they have all agreed on one film! I made them popcorn, and didn't eat any (I'm sitting in the kitchen enjoying the popcorn smell thoughSmile) I'm still in negative calories, so cake later should be fine, DH is getting a slice each from Waitrose (ooh get us with our posh cakeGrin) so there won't be the temptation of "leftover" cake in the house.

InMySpareTime · 22/08/2012 14:45

I have 767 calories left for cake and wine, after dinner is accounted for. Should be doable.

MrsPnut · 22/08/2012 14:49

That sounds about right IMST, and not having leftovers will be so much better.

Littlemissstan, I hope you're feeling better now.

I resisted the sweets in the cinema and only had a few of DD2's fries as we were driving home from McDonalds. I've since had a ham and coleslaw sandwich on granary bread and a pint of water.

littlemissstan · 22/08/2012 15:40

Thank you for your concern all :) Was a fab do indeed. Am feeling much better after a lunch of chicken supernoodles - catered to the carb-needing hangover but the low fat ones are only about 300 cals so I think were a pretty good choice.

Back on track Thursday for me tomorrow - need it as going to two birthday things this weekend and another two the weekend after!

InMySpareTime · 22/08/2012 17:30

All added up (DH bought Belgian chocolate cake), and still 300 underSmile.
1400 net, but I did an hour in the garden, cleaned the kitchen several times, thanks DCs and did a half hour wii workout to balance the cake.
I like guilt free cake, paid off in advanceGrin. See you all tomorrow, I need to get my DCs to bed so I can start my date.

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/08/2012 17:32

IMST I'm pleased to report that dd ate all her dinner despite being full of popcorn and the spoils from your garden.

Well done on your great will power MrsPnut I think the sweets would have been too much for me. Thankfully I don't like the golden arches

I've been very good today and I think that some of the holiday bloat is going. :)

InMySpareTime · 22/08/2012 17:43

D'oh, I meant 1400 gross , 900 net.
Hair she did do a lot of running about, and didn't have a huge lunch, I'm not surprised she was hungry.
My DD turned her nose up at gnocchi with a tomato sauce, taking the "off to bed" option insteadConfused.

fivegomadindorset · 22/08/2012 20:58

2.5lbs off officially since last wednesday, just had friends around but didn't pig out hugely and didn't manage my lunch today anyway, today was always going to be the worst day this week. So that was official SW weigh in and I log in my WW one on Friday (for those of you who don't know, I go to weigh in at SW as it is convenient but I follow WW)

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/08/2012 21:13

Well done fivegomad. That's great news! :)

LollipopViolet · 22/08/2012 21:29

I'm tired - but I get a lie in tomorrow, yay!

I'm also scared - we did a basic book keeping quiz after we finished all our work today - 2 teams of 3, people on the winning team each got a lottery ticket.

Shock Purchase orders, day books, reconciling things, all kinds of other scary terms, and MATHS! With big numbers! That being said, I'm glad the VAT is 20% at the moment - might make things more expensive but makes it easier to work out!

We won the lotto tickets though - had to do a tie breaker and they asked who the lead singer of the Killers was. I knew! :)

Oh, and I've got the dentist tomorrow :( Boo!

fivegomadindorset · 22/08/2012 21:31

Well done, forget the numbers just think of the process, the numbers are a side issue as they will always change but the process will always be the same.

StealthPolarBear · 22/08/2012 21:48

Hi everyone
I've been absent recently. really lost my motivation and been really busy - some people don't eat when they're busy I know but I comfort eat. However, I am not feeling completely disillusioned and have to say I am missing it! So, weekend away - off up till then and Monday, then back to work on Tuesday and back to dieting with a vengeance!
" i take a moment to really think hard about how feeling peckish/hungry or a bit empty is so preferable to feeling bloated and guilty"
What a fantastic idea! I never actually consciously do that when I want to binge, I'm going to make the effort. Add "virtuous" to your list of good feelings too - I sometimes feel so hungry but that's good because I'm going to eat and I'm still going to lose weight.

Well done, I've had a read through and you're all doing so well. I actually can't wait to rejoin you : PMSL at being happy VAT is 20% though - you and the Chancellor are the only ones :o

LollipopViolet · 22/08/2012 21:54

Stealth I'm only happy cos I'm useless at percentages unless it's a nice round number!

We had to do a maths and English assessment yesterday - I got 23/25 on the maths and 27/31 on the English. Very pleased as I haven't done any proper exams since college - felt like being back doing GCSE's!

I reeeeeaaally don't want to go to the dentist tomorrow. I HATE flying, and put it this way: I'd rather get on a plane than go to the dentist!

StealthPolarBear · 22/08/2012 22:01

good luck tomorrow, I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think

StealthPolarBear · 22/08/2012 22:04

and I bet that's how George O feels too (about VAT, not the dentist :o)

InMySpareTime · 23/08/2012 06:36

Today I am not wearing baggy size 18 jeans, I dug out my old size 14s that I haven't got into for years Grin. They are a bit snug, but they make my bottom look fantastic.

chipsandmayonnaise · 23/08/2012 06:53

Yeah InMy!!! That is fantastic. You must feel really pleased!

No updates worthy of anything here. Did not go to spinning [ahem cough cough] as DH came back from work with a bottle of cava unexpectedly (he was feeling a little low and thought this would help) and i had to apply my attention to him- and the bottle. Grin

Had baked salmon for dinner though so that was nice.

Need a veg-heavy dinner tonight. DH is lobbying for courgette lasagne but I am worried about the cheese. Does anyone have any great child-friendly vegetarian meals to share? DCs are good with most things, but one is allergic to egg so a tortilla or similar is out. I could do a spinach and ricotta cannelloni. Mmmmm.

InMySpareTime · 23/08/2012 07:00

Courgette lasagne should be fine if you use low fat soft cheese instead of cheddar.
Dhal is a nice vegetarian curry, add cauliflower as well to pad it out.
Ratatouille is low fat too, and deliciousSmile.

sleepychunky · 23/08/2012 07:08

Hi everyone, haven't posted for a day or so. IMST that is fantastic! I think I might have to have a hunt to see if I can find something I've kept "for when I've lost weight".
chips sorry I can't help with veggie non-egg stuff. My 2 are confirmed carnivores so everything I make for them has meat in.
Yesterday was my weigh-in and I stayed the same this week. I'm actually really disappointed as I have been below my calories every single day. I cricked my neck on Monday and have been in loads of pain and hardly able to move my head, and was hoping that at least the scales would help me feel better. So feeling a bit down Sad I've also been feeling a bit weird since yesterday afternoon and thought I was going to be sick, but then I thought I was just feeling strange because I was hungry. Still felt weird after dinner last night though, and was in the bathroom at 3am convinced I was about to be decorating the toilet bowl I wasn't though, and this morning I'm not feeling sick, just hungry, so will have something to eat soon.
