5 days of the most amazing will power and determination, followed by 2 days of beer, kebabs, chocolate, ice cream, chips, jelly sweets, crisps, pizza and pub grub. So peeved with myself. I feel even worse because i just feel like I cant be bothered anymore. WHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYY did it have to be before weigh in, so frustrated.

BonkeyMollocks · 19/08/2012 18:14

Ok, so I went into the weekend deciding that I would have it 'off' .

I think i needed a break and to stop beating myself up when i planned to be good and it didn't happen.

Whats weird is that knowing I have allowed myself more, I don't want any junk/picky stuff , just a tad more at meal times Confused .

Anyway, weigh in tomorrow, hoping to stick at that 12.0 (but happy if there is a extra lb or 2, the break was needed) and aiming for something beginning with 11 next week.

slothprincess · 19/08/2012 18:23

I'm with you MilkshakeMaker. Currently feeling so full I might be a little bit sick in my mouth. I stood on the scales this morning and it's showing a pound and a half gain on last week :( Need to get back on track next week. I've been given some money for my birthday and I'd like to spend it on some new clothes.

Bonkey, I'm impressed at you listening to you listening to your body and eating sensibly, even when you'd given yourself a break.

StealthPolarBear · 19/08/2012 18:27

today has not been good for me either
Bonkey and IMST glad you are doing well :)

marriedinwhite · 19/08/2012 18:45

a blip doesn't matter. Tomorrow's a new day and a blip can end. 2/3 day blips are fine. 2/3 week bleeps mean trouble.

Tomorrow and next week are for belting beauties beating the blip Grin

Hi all,

Mil now out of hospital and we went to visit her. She seems fine but has a week off work and will need electric shock treatment on her heart Shock Shock .

Yum to all this talk of food . I just did my mfp entry for today. Was convinced I'd be way over as have eaten a fair bit today but somehow I'm on target - I'm not sure if I have genuinely forgotten to log foods I've eaten or if I'm slowly making better choices. No change on the weight front and no new scales yet either. I have no flat hard floors in my house and all the nice fancy pants scales seem to require flat floors.

It's been too hot for me to exercise this week end but am booked in for a gym session tomorrow afternoon and just off to see if there are any spaces for zumba on Friday if I'm brave enough

slothprincess · 19/08/2012 18:52

Glad your MIL in out of hospital reastie.

slothprincess · 19/08/2012 18:53

I'm not even going to bother trying to track what I've eaten this weekend. MFP just wouldn't understand!

MilkshakeMaker · 19/08/2012 18:56

Do you have carpet in your kitchen and bathroom reastie?! I dont know anyone with carpet in either of them!

Ok so i will be calling this a weekend off, Just wish it was a planned one so I dont feel so....cant think of the word.

MilkshakeMaker · 19/08/2012 18:59

sorry reastie, I'm glad to hear your mil is out of hospital, My grandad has the electric shock thing with his heart too!

reastie · 19/08/2012 18:59

milkshake we have carpet in bathroom (I know, yuck!) and very bumpy stone tiles in kitchen

BonkeyMollocks · 19/08/2012 19:00

MM guilty? Its how I felt all week, until I decided enough was enough and decided to have time off.
Motivational Monday back tomorrow! Lets all stick with it!

BonkeyMollocks · 19/08/2012 19:02

Reastie sorry about you MIL! Hope shes well on the way to being better! :)

I used to have carpet in my kitchen and bathroom in my old flat...t'was in the lease due to noisy floors!

MilkshakeMaker · 19/08/2012 19:17

I actually would quite like carpet in my bathroom, Least then I wouldnt have to step on the cold floor after a hot bath, I want it!

And if a weekend off was planned it means I'd still be in control, and yeah not feeling guilty! Thanks Bonkey!

reastie · 19/08/2012 19:23

bonkey my old place I had 20 year old dirty carpet in the kitchen (I carpet cleaned it and you can imagine the colour of the water!!) AND in the bathroom too. We have inherited this bathroom carpet and it's short piled (if that's the right term) and i do bleach clean it by hand periodically, so it is sort of hygienic. It is nice underfoot but can get damp dog smelly if it gets too wet and can't dry out easily that was really dull wasn't it

LollipopViolet · 19/08/2012 19:38

We used to have carpet in the bathroom, but then had it re-done with nice tiles. Although I MUST stop running in there when I'm desperate for a wee, and only wearing socks... Hmm

I'm under calories again (yay!) but not by enough to have a treat later (oh well).

Start a new 3 week college course on Tuesday, I'm scared!

InMySpareTime · 19/08/2012 21:09

LV what course are you doing? Best of luck anyway. Bring your own lunch and snacks as the food options are not usually that healthy.

fivegomadindorset · 19/08/2012 21:11

I have eaten nothing but crap today, paid the price for drinking yesterday. Need to haul it back in/

LollipopViolet · 19/08/2012 21:34

I'm doing AAT Level 1 in Accounting, basically a taster course, and if I like it, I'll do Level 2 :)

Planning to take my own stuff as I'm not sure of the facilities as it's not a college college, IYSWIM, but a business college. So I will take some sandwiches and drinks with me :)

fivegomadindorset · 19/08/2012 21:55

Oh good luck with that one Violet, if I hadn't got my job I was going to start the Level 3 in September.

LollipopViolet · 19/08/2012 22:36

Oooh five, what's Level 1 and 2 like?

I got a C at GCSE for my maths, but we were never good friends, so I'm a bit nervous!

I'm doing it partly in case I end up starting my own business, so I can do the books, but also because film isn't really working out for me right now, hopefully it'll open doors to some jobs :)

fivegomadindorset · 19/08/2012 22:42

I didn't do 1 and 2 as I did City and Guilds Bookkeeping 1 and 2 which I presume is the same levels, AAT only started at Level 3. You will be fine, it is more logical than maths, you need to remember what goes where and be able to see where you went wrong.

fivegomadindorset · 19/08/2012 22:43

I think with AAT that spreadsheets are involved a lot and it was recommended to me to do a course on spreadsheets so that may be worth thinking about or at leas asking about.

InMySpareTime · 20/08/2012 06:59

Good morningSmile,
Happy Motivational Monday again,
LV I'm sure you'll be fine "sailing on the wide accountant Sea" to quote Monty PythonGrin.
I have (as usual) a busy Monday, what are the rest of you up to?

fluffyraggies · 20/08/2012 07:18

Morning everyone :)

Yes Happy MM

Just read back from Friday aft. which is when i was last here. Wow - Saturday was seriously up and down for allot of us. Sunday seemed better. Can't do personals for all that - but i wanted to say :( to Sloth about her cat. And :( to reastie about the end of BF. I remember being rediculously upset on the last day fo BFing my youngest.

AFM - i went over 24 hours without food from late morning on Sat to yesterday afternoon. BUT filled it with alcohol instead! Blush My DH and some workmates plus wives and girl friends hired a limo to take us to London to see a fellow workmate defend his British title cage fighting. Was a very loooooong night Grin When we woke in the hotel yesterday at midday it resembled the scene in the film 'Hangover', lol. (minus the tiger) Way too hot and sunny out for feeling that ... fragile.

Was still in recovery yesterday afternoon - and when i did break the 'fast' at about 4pm it was with a chip buttie. So the upshot of it all diet wise is i haven't been near MFP since Friday.

Back up on that wagon today though :) Not sure about tonight's Zumba class as frankly i still feel fragile, and i hurt my ankle on Saturday somehow. Wednesday evenings class is a def though.

Staying off the scales.
