Morning fluffy
I weighed in this morning at 12st 11, down on last Monday, same as Friday, but my BMI is down to 35.15, and I still have the rest of the den to build (it will be a mighty den, 2.7m wide, 2.5m front to back, felted roof, ship lap walls). The stuff we couldn't fit in the car is being delivered this morning, I am so excited, but I wish the rain would stop so I could store it outside. My living room smells all pineyBlush.

MrsPnut · 20/08/2012 07:58

Good luck LV, I did aat 3 and 4 before starting ACCA.

Accounting is logical, and if it clicks then you'll have no problems. Remember which way round your credits and debits go and the rest is easy. Maths isn't really needed but excel is.

Morning, I need some motivation this morning. I have to make myself have a shower and get DD2 to kids club before taking DD1 and her friend to the funeral of another friend who lost her battle with cancer. I also need to menu plan for the week based on what is in my freezer. I need to stock up on a few bits from Lidl too.

InMySpareTime · 20/08/2012 08:05

What's in your freezer? Tell me after you've had a shower.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 20/08/2012 08:16

Morning Brew Off to weigh in

fluffyraggies · 20/08/2012 08:22

MrsPnut So sorry to hear about your friend :(

I hope the morning passes as well as it can.

MrsPnut · 20/08/2012 08:23

Off the top of my head,

2 packs of chicken breasts
Pack of mince
Pork fillet
1 1/2 chorizo
Unsmoked gammon joint
Fish things
Chicken nuggets
Half made chicken curry
Veggie curry
Veggie chilli
Chicken, ham and leek pie filling
Pack of meatballs
2 packs of sausages
Cod in parsley sauce

At home this week we have one vegetarian - I do have lots of vegetarian options like meatballs, pie, fake meat etc. 2 kids, one of whom won't eat fish and the other won't eat salad or many vegetables and me who eats everything.

MrsPnut · 20/08/2012 08:25

Thanks Fluffy, it was one of my daughter's friends so only 15. It has devastated all of them. I knew her but only as one of the many teenagers that troop through my house.

fluffyraggies · 20/08/2012 08:27

Christ. That's awful. It's going to be a hard morning Mrs ((hug))

fluffyraggies · 20/08/2012 08:29

Well impressed with the contents of your freezer though!

reastie · 20/08/2012 08:38

mrsP hope the funeral goes OK, how sad Sad

rather how did the weigh in go?

IMST this den sounds amazing Envy - can you post piccie when it's finished? [nosy]

fluffy cage fighting eh? Hope your fragile state wears off soon

I know nothing about accounting and accountants apart from DH seems to pay his alot of money and moans alot about it Wink

Well, I tried on a dress I haven't worn since early July in the hope I might actually see the difference in my clothes (as everything else seems to fit pretty much the same and this one was a snug fit) and shock horror it was actually a bit loose - definitely a difference since 7 weeks ago, so hurray, at last I can actually see the difference!

LollipopViolet · 20/08/2012 08:48

Well I've weighed in.

Going to be honest and say it's only 1lb, so I'm at 12st 12. It dipped down to 12st 11, but popped back up. I can pretty much confirm if I'm careful food wise, I'll be 12st 11 tomorrow. Just annoyed I can't claim a 2lb loss this week!

BonkeyMollocks · 20/08/2012 08:52

Morning, weigh in for me.
12.1 , which is a lb down from last weeks official weigh in and a lb up from the un-official one mid week.

Back on track today, I will be in the 11's next week!

reastie Great news on the dress! :)

Piste How'd it go?

MrsP I hope today isn't too bad for you.

Imst Envy of your den!

LollipopViolet · 20/08/2012 08:57

I think I've had a realization.

I started our very first thread at 13 stone 4 pounds.

I'm now 12 stone 12. I'm a pound off having lost half a stone!!!! Grin

So, if my theory that the last bit of this pound will be gone tomorrow, tomorrow I will have lost half a stone!

that's if my shocking maths is correct, anyway

MrsPnut · 20/08/2012 09:41

That's a great achievement LV.

Goingunderfast · 20/08/2012 09:42

Morning ladies! Well done on the losses! And if you have gained its time to forget it and push on!!!
Little disappointed this morning as no change and ive walked extra this week :@ i want to break under 10 stone and i seem to be stuck at 10..4 need those last 4lbs gone and ive only 5 weeks to do it! Easy you might think but nope! stuck grrrrr.
Second week of fasting and first day of two day fast starts today and a fast tomorrow!
we are supposed to be going to weston supermare tomorrow but weather looks shocking.
Plus holiday injections today so im going to cry :( hate injections im such a wuss.
MRS. Such a loss of a young life. cancer is a horrible thing but a little more acceptable if in an older person although no one should suffer it. Hope your daughter gets through this tough day. X

Goingunderfast · 20/08/2012 09:44

Sorry no breakfast has addled my brain lol but think you can quess what i mean with regards to the fast Grin

KatoPotato · 20/08/2012 10:02

Right well. I've weighed myself at home, then was so stunned I have used the Seca Digital ones in the hospital...

When this thread started I was 12st 9lbs

Today... 11st 9lbs.

A stone?!? A whole feckin stone?! I have spun my ass off this past week and gym'd it... but mind I pure had a Munchy box? and an Indian? and a whole weekend away?

This is what this thread is all about! I could have caved after the Muchy Box, and decried myself as a silly fat pie, but you guys made me laugh and move on. Thank you. Honestly thanks to all of you.

Goingunderfast · 20/08/2012 10:15

Katopotato wow well done you!!!!!!! You should be really proud! Keep up your great attitude as thats the key!! Smile oh and good eating habits GrinGrin

PooPooOnMars · 20/08/2012 10:21

Hello! Bonkeymollocks invited me to join you so here i am! (hopes I've got the right thread)

I started last week on ww at 9.1 and only lost 1lb. Due to previous lack of loses on ww and recommendations on here I've switched to mfp. Love it and very excited!

9.0 (which i am now in case you're horrendous at maths Grin is not that heavy but i am short and slight of build so at the moment i look chubby!

littlemissstan · 20/08/2012 10:50

Apparently I have lost 0.6lbs - barely anything but a loss is a loss! And we had lunch out on Saturday and an inpromptu barbecue on the beach last night so I am happy enough...

StealthPolarBear · 20/08/2012 11:07

Hi everyone, well done to everyone who's lost, esp Kato and LV - that's brilliant.
Hello PooPoo.
MrsP, hope the funeral goes as well as it can.
I am not on a diet at the moment. Cannot seem to sustain it. However I am having a week where I am just trying to be careful, not binge but no MFP, then a weekend away, then back to it with a vengeance. I ahve realised though that when I eat too much, even yesterday when I didn't binge as such but ate too much, I wake up feeling awful the next day - bloated and windy.

fluffyraggies · 20/08/2012 12:15

kato well done! :)

poopoo hello :)

littlemiss any loss is a loss! well done:)

8020 that's a bugger! - but yes - back up here

stealth - i admire you for having a designated week (and a weekend) off. Really. I think it's totally the thing to do if you are struggling. It's something i need to learn how to do instead of beating myself up about 'ruining' my diet.

You were saying about literally feeling physically rubbish the day after you've over eaten. Same here. I get windy and bloated and find it depressing to try to 'be good' while at the same time suffering the after effects of 'being bad' the day before. In fact i use this now when i feel a wobble coming on - i take a moment to really think hard about how feeling peckish/hungry or a bit empty is so preferable to feeling bloated and guilty. It sounds obvious but at the mo it seems to be really working. I've managed to hold off from pigging this morning that way. It's so darn easy to let one bad weekend day just slide into another and another isn't it?
