Couldn't get much more inspirational than the title of the first thread. We're doing this for ourselves. No one else outside family really cares if we're size 16 or size 10. No one else really benefits when we're slimmer. We take all the pain but get all the benefits. And it matters, we'll do anything to get there. Seriously assess - are you really doing all you can? Could you maybe cut out a bit more junk or exercise on the days you can't be bothered? If you really are doing all you can, brilliant. the weight will be coming off, slowly but surely. If, like me, you're thinking that maybe you could try a bit harder sign in here for your butt kicking.
do you want to be fat at christmas?

Gosh, it's all gone a bit feisty! I came to report a weekend of general failure to you all - tonnes of booze, pizza, curry - but things seem to have taken a strange turn!

Anyway, onwards and upwards - new week, low fat breakfast eaten and gym planned for tonight.

Hi everyone, well I've lost 1 stone in 6 days!
Want to know my trick?
Ok don't shout it wasnt my fault.
Went to Italy, flew out last saturday became so ill my 2 wk holiday was quickly changed and I flew home on Wednesday :(
Gp reckons its labyrinthitis :(
Haven't eaten a thing from last saturday til today when I've managed half a slice of toast and a bit of chicken.
Went on scales last night and lost 1lb short of 1stone so not all bad.
But 3000 grand out of pocket on hols, flight home and medical bill :(

StealthPolarBear · 20/08/2012 12:48

oh no :( I'm so sorry
Will insurance cover any of it?
Are you feeling better?
When you want to look back and laugh, consider than many people pay a lot more than the money you've lost in expensive diet schemes/surgery to lose about the same amount

Ha I never thought of that stealth def cheaper than a nip and tuck!
Unfortunately the only insurance I took was the E111 which surprisingly means nothing when u need it!
I booked everything seperately so not even a holiday rep in sight which was a pain because their English wasnt great and my Italian was worse!
And my DS was taken to hospital too, and as a single mum poorly, with poorly Ds and dd (toddler) I just needed to come home so booked the first flight back :(

Flojo1979 · 20/08/2012 12:55

Luckily the flight home was only £200 but still...
