Rules of Motivational Monday:
The weekend is the past. You start from now. If not, you'll end up here in a couple of weeks and a few pounds heavier so do it NOW
MM involves healthy eating and some exercise. Your excuses will not be tolerated here.
MM is when we all get back into control and back into the swing of things.
Welcome all and best of luck. :)

Of course the children think you're fat. I hate to break it to you but they think you're old too :o children are so lovely before they learn tact, but to them anyone who isn't 15 and 7st is fat and old.
Lollipop glad it was just a cyst. Hope your dog is fully better soon
Demented, that sounds good.
Everyone is doing so well! I had half a sandwich at lunch and then a leggera pizza tonight, so over calories but not too bad, especially as I haven't snacked (well some salted almonds, I guessed 20g). I am having wine and will have a small piece of choc (or maybe not, if I don't this is likely to be my first choc free day since the age of about 7, no exaggeration). But I am/will be on about 1400cals instead of 1200 so not too bad for a day where I've been out for 2 meals. I certainly feel like I've tried hard.

Does anyone know how many cals are actually in those pizzas. Pe menu says "under 500" but everywhere seems to just assume its 500. This wine might be 'free' in my 500cals

I will happily take some of your boobs badvoc mine are a now a C after pregnancy shrunk them. I have a boob job planned for some time next year (hopefully)

Weigh in today, i have lost a lb, very please as i have eaten lot of Chocolate, however i have given up the Carbs i have been having with my tea, instead of potatoes or wedges, although only 4 points a portion, i have eaten double the veg's i would normally have.

So that is how i am going to continue.

Breakfast tomorrow - Boiled egg, WW bread and a nectarine
Dinner - Omlette
Tea - Chicken and yet again Broccoli

I WILL BE K-DASH I WILL I WILL I WILL

InMySpareTime · 24/07/2012 21:46

I had a slice of bread and cheese and a glass of wine. All betterGrin.

Badvoc · 24/07/2012 21:54

You see I would love a c cup!
I don't feel,that hungry tbh.
Plan for tomorrow is:
Omelette for breakfast
Ham salad for lunch
Jacket potato and salad for tea
Water and coffee with lacto free milk
Fruit for snacks
Does that sound ok?

Badvoc · 24/07/2012 21:54

...or pasta for tes...hmm....

StealthPolarBear · 24/07/2012 22:15

Yes, that sounds good, not sure if you are cal counting but i'd go for the potato rather than the pasta (well I would if it was based on calories, if it was based on preference it'd be pasta every time)

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 24/07/2012 22:16

Tomorrow
Breakfast: omellete
Lnch: 2 ryvita with cucumber
Tea: Jacket potato with beans, sweetcorn and maybe some salad
Snacks: More than I'd like

OP posts:
Badvoc · 24/07/2012 22:16

No I'm not sleuth...I don't seem to do very well with calories counting (like WW)
The pasta is gluten free...does that make a difference?

Badvoc · 24/07/2012 22:17

Sleuth?
Sorry stealth...fecking iPad!!

Badvoc · 24/07/2012 22:18

Ooh beans....I forgot about beans!

Badvoc · 24/07/2012 22:20

Another issue with me is that I am allergic to cheese and yoghurt (well, they make me sick) so I can't have low cal cheese and yoghurts as a snack.
I have lacto free milk in my coffee and tea.

KatoPotato · 24/07/2012 22:20

I definately farted during planks at abs class

StealthPolarBear · 24/07/2012 22:23

lol Kato, how many calories did that burn?
Sorry, can't answer about gluten free, but glad I reminded you of beans

OP posts:
KatoPotato · 24/07/2012 22:31

Not sure but I blame the cauliflower!

Today has been a good day;

B: Protein shake
L: ham salad with a cheese topped roll
Snacks: apple, belvita honey nut biscuits
D: grilled pork loin with rocket and Parmesan salad with balsamic glaze.

Circuit, double Zumba and abs class (or body pump eh eh?)

Munchy box is but a memory!

wherearemysocks · 24/07/2012 23:30

Sounds like you're all doing very well with your calorie counts. But I'm not feeling much sympathy for my traumatic experience of being mugged by a seagull. Mugged people. By a seagull. Took the ice-cream right out of my hand. It was very upsetting.

(though I may look on you tube to see if someone happened to catch it on camera and posted it. Dh says it was very impressive work by the seagull, the attack was launched from behind, I didn't even see it coming)

KatoPotato · 24/07/2012 23:35

The seagull was doing our bidding socks smackers beware!

sleepychunky · 25/07/2012 06:26

Morning everyone! Welcome to Wednesday - how are we all? It's been a week since I started using MFP and have just done my first weigh-in....I've lost 8lb!! I can't really believe it, and I know it's not going to be that much every week, but it's certainly a good start.
I might treat myself to an ice cream today if it's going to be the hottest day of the year - think I deserve it!

InMySpareTime · 25/07/2012 06:41

Good morning, very Envy of you losing 8lb, I'm stuck at 2, and there seems to be cake everywhere in my life, taunting me. Darn you, end of term!

whyme2 · 25/07/2012 06:51

Morning everyone,

Had a better day yesterday and feeling positive for today.

Menu today will be dippy egg for breakfast,
Chicken salad for lunch,
Pizza and salad for tea.

I also have a fridge full of diet coke Blush .

Today is our first day of school holidays so I am planning a walk out later with the dcs.
I am getting closer to being under 16stone so I am keeping this in mind. I know it will be a huge achievement for me to be 15 something. Grin Big number still but going in the right direction.

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2012 07:00

So it's No Wibble Wednesday, which meas if there's a choice and we know one is the right one then we take the right one. My contribution to NWW is that I will attempt not to give in to any chocolate cravings until after dinner.
Dinner's the meal you have at 8am, right? :o

Socks your seagull did make me laugh :) did it give you a look and mutter something about a thread on mumsnet?
sleepy Thts brilliant! And whyme, :o and coming up to 15s something. Fantastic

chipsandmayonnaise · 25/07/2012 07:09

Good morning all!

Today's menu plan for me;
Bk- ryvitas, sliced tomatoes and black coffee
Ln- having a birthday lunch with a family member. [wibble]. I plan to try and stick to a salady-sounding option with soup for a starter and to drastically limit the wine.... always hard with this family member! But I also want to go spinning this evening so really do not want to sweat wine fumes over everyone!
Dn- veg soup, ryvita and boiled egg.

Made a delish soup yesterday. I 'sauteed' celery and onions in water in time-honoured WW measure, added two tins of chopped tomatoes, chicken stock and an entire jar of Odysea harissa mezze thing, then blitzed. It has come out surprisingly tasty- a little spicy and really yummy- considering! I kept having cups of that yesterday when i was feeling a little hungry.

So- No Wibble Wednesday. I WILL choose the best available option at lunch. I WILL NOT load up on bread. I WILL 'eat strategically' so if the best lunch option comes with potatoes I will NOT eat them, and I will take pride and cofidence in my choices - knowing that I am not wibbling. I will also start with a pint of sparkling water and will have 1-2 small glasses of wine at lunch only.

Good luck to everyone. :)

(loved the seagull story.... That was surely the Spirit of Try Hard Tuesday coming to your rescue socks!)

ssmile · 25/07/2012 07:33

The seagull did make me laugh out loud and my DH asked me what I was reading

Wow some great losses on here it has really inspired me to get back on it after my weekend away and this morning I was rewarded with seeing a 10st.13.4lbs on the scales, however this is the weight I was 4 weeks ago and Ive just platued at so I will be trying harder and not wibbling or nibbling to get that next pound off. I am finding it hard to stay motivated after having some big losses for months at the start of the year to more like 1-2lb a month now but I am nearer my goal so I knew it would be harder.

Was a bit :( this morning as I breast fed my baby for the last time at 6am, she is 11mths old tommorrow and I have planned it but I'm still a little sad as we are not having any more babies by choice now. I'm hoping I will get a big energy boost like I did when I finished feeding my first DD :)

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2012 07:38

:( ssmile. Will she expect a feed tonight?

Chips, have a good time at your lunch. :)

dementedma · 25/07/2012 08:36
