Rules of Motivational Monday:
The weekend is the past. You start from now. If not, you'll end up here in a couple of weeks and a few pounds heavier so do it NOW
MM involves healthy eating and some exercise. Your excuses will not be tolerated here.
MM is when we all get back into control and back into the swing of things.
Welcome all and best of luck. :)

I spent the day chasing my friend's 11mo DS round her living room.

That boy has one speed for crawling - super duper fast! And he always seems to want to play with/touch/pull over things that friend would rather he didn't, necessitating umpteen retrievals of said baby.

He IS adorable though Grin

Evening all.
I'm off to the olympics tomorrow, which is exciting :). My friend is providing a picnic and I have told her I'm trying to be healthy, so I'm hoping I can stay vaguely on track. Think I'll put some fruit and nuts in my bag in case of hunger emergencies!
Viva, resist resist! The power of this thread is with you.

I am under cals today! Considering how I felt this morning its a bloody miracle!!

Stick with it Viva . Get through the next few days and you can do anything!

KatoPotato · 27/07/2012 20:56

Right back into jumping jacks!

StealthPolarBear · 27/07/2012 21:41

enjoy your holiday married :)
I am not celebrating that I ahve done L2 shred every day since Monday. Hoping to try to do it tomorrow, but leaving the house at 7 so not going to beat myself up if I can't be bothered. Also, will get back Sunday night so might try to do it then and really see if I can make every day.
I have also been good today, been on a picnic, everyone else with sandwiches, me with crispbread, tub of hummus and chopped veg sticks. My little clingfilm ball of black pepper caused some laughter :) The only treats I've had have been 2 chunks of melon - 115 calories!! That is ridiculous, I could have had 2 eggs for that!

I had an innocent pot, 2tbs of DHs curry and one of dd's ravioli and I have nearly finished a bottle of Chardonnay - dh might have had a v. small glass.

I have three weeks of freedom!!!!!

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 28/07/2012 06:00

Hello everyoneGrin did you enjoy the opening ceremony? I recorded it, and it looks like the kind of thing you can watch again and again, and see a new thing each time.
The queen of hearts freaked me out more than voldemort thoughConfused.
I played wii fit at a friend's house, and she agreed the shape they made my mii was unfair (although all the DCs mocked it).
My wii fit age is getting even lower. I get quiteConfused at its mixed messages, one minute it says I need to lose 5 stone as I am unhealthy, the next it says I am in amazing shape and very fit. Make up your mind, wiiHmm.
My tummy already feels flatter though, which is nice.

chipsandmayonnaise · 28/07/2012 06:19

Good Morning!

I watched the opening ceremony. Loved the Queen and Bond bit, but was a bit Hmm about alot of the rest. I agree with you that you would need to watch again and again to really see all of it. I sat all the way through the athletes but when they just did not get on with the cauldron lighting I went to bed. Watched the lighting just now on bbc website and it looked fantastic, so regretting my lack of stamina now!!! I loved that each country had their own petal and that became the cauldron- thought that was really moving.

So, ate my way through a roast chicken and mashed pots and 3/4 of a bottle of wine watching that! Good thing I have a spinning class this morning!

never tried wii fit. Sounds good!

Have friends coming for an early supper today. Planning on cold roast chicken, a baked ham and lots of salads. Tomato and mozzarella and basil; coleslaw that I do with a lemon and grainy mustard dressing rather than mayo; beetroot and dill; and a green salad with lots of fresh parsley, coriander and mint in it. Hopefully I can get back on track a bit!

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 28/07/2012 06:46

I didn't stay up for the end either, stayed up until about Congo on the teams, I'm watching it recorded with the DCs now, it's very slick in terms of set changes (I do stage crew for shows and was quite impressed with the technical aspects).
The DCs want glowing duvets now though, I would love to know how that was done.

LollipopViolet · 28/07/2012 09:26

IOutrun, I want your job Grin I graduated in film production but would love to stage crew at gigs or something, it'd be ace! Hard work, but ace!

Anyway, one of those annoying 2lbs has disappeared again, and today I'm off out with DBoyfriend, hopefully for a nice 5km walk round our local lake, a spot of lunch and some shopping :)

So as long as I'm good with my lunch and things, and good tomorrow, hopefully there'll be another loss come Monday :)

KatoPotato · 28/07/2012 09:39

Well done LV! And that's with your Chinese too!!

LollipopViolet · 28/07/2012 11:07

Haha I wish I'd had a Chinese, but the pizza was good :)

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 28/07/2012 11:09

LV that's my hobby not my job, I'm in a G&S society and build set/stage crew their productions. We're off to Buxton for the G&S festival to crew that in a couple of weeks (without the DCs, first time we've ever stayed the night away from them and they're 10&8Blush).
MFP told me off again for not eating enough calories, I may be doing too much exercise, we were out on our bikes a lot yesterday, but I had beer, whiskey, toblerone, and two lunches.

KatoPotato · 28/07/2012 11:19

Love getting a row despite eating toblerones!

sassytheFIRST · 28/07/2012 12:13

Hi all,

Well, lost a lb this morning (helped by dd2 throwing up at 7.30 last night just as I was about to start dinner - didn't fancy it then!).

Had some greek yoghurt so far today, will be smoked slamon and salad for lunch. BBQ this evening so will have to be careful and not overdo the wine!

LOVED the Opening Ceremony last night (passed the time well between puking bouts!). They usually leave me cold but I thought it was genius.

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 28/07/2012 12:13

It was only one triangle, but it was delicious Smile.

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 28/07/2012 14:02

I weighed myself on the wii fit again, and I have lost another 1/2kg. DH just brought home feta cheese in oil and garlic cloves in oil, so it may not last.

StealthPolarBear · 28/07/2012 17:22

Well I'm on my weekend away and being extremely good. Other than half a pack of wine gums on journey. We'll see if I can keep it up hen I have a drink

LollipopViolet · 28/07/2012 17:31

Well, we didn't walk 5km, but we did do a good hour of walking round various points of interest.

I ate pretty well. Have honestly logged everything and am 40 calories over my goal - which while annoying, is (again, taking positives from everything) far better than I would've been in the bad old days. Weirdly enough, if I'd not told MFP i was at the gym 3 x a week, I'd only be 20 calories over Hmm

Good points:
We went to Frankie and Benny's, and I chose healthy options, spaghetti oceana and mango sorbet, although did have a glass of red wine.

Bad Points:
I didn't eat before I left home, and ended up eating a pretzel from Tesco for breakfast, and had some Aero bubbles in the afternoon. What did I learn? I don't really like Tesco's salted pretzels from the bakery, so I won't do that again!

Must remember to eat before leaving home.

Must do better tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Still proud that I ate out, with someone eating pizza and ice cream (ironic, no?) in front of me, yet I STILL had the healthy option.

So today's snacking was a blip. At home til silly o'clock tomorrow afternoon, then out for the evening so will eat extra healthy just in case I end up eating out again.

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 28/07/2012 18:04

I still have 574 calories left today, there will be a finger buffet at the wedding reception I'm going to this evening, but to balance that, it's a ceilidh, so I'll do a good hour or two of energetic dancing which will more than work it off.

TheOneWithTheGoldMedal · 28/07/2012 19:47

I had an ok day. Still kind of dreading Monday's weigh in but I'll deal with it then.

Crab meat scrambled eggs for dinner. One of my favourites. :)
