Rules of Motivational Monday:
The weekend is the past. You start from now. If not, you'll end up here in a couple of weeks and a few pounds heavier so do it NOW
MM involves healthy eating and some exercise. Your excuses will not be tolerated here.
MM is when we all get back into control and back into the swing of things.
Welcome all and best of luck. :)

Yes bin half!

Then you can't go back for seconds!

VivaLeBeaver · 25/07/2012 18:03

I fancied pizza for tea so did a homemade one. Still probably not v healthy but better than a shop one.

Ciabatta roll - bit of olive oil, tomato puree, cheese, oregano. It was lovely.

KatoPotato · 25/07/2012 18:04

-might be bin raiding round IMST's later-

BonkeyMollocks · 25/07/2012 18:07

I made a pizza from one of those Warburtons (sp) squares once. You know those wrap things.
Bit of sauce, veggies and a bit of cheese grill. Yum!

KatoPotato · 25/07/2012 18:11

I tried to make pizzas with crepes as bases... Absolute disaster...

Like the idea of ciabatta and warbies squares though.

InMySpareTime · 25/07/2012 18:13

Italian do pasta with meatballs or spicy pepperoni pasta.
I was Shock when I saw how many calories are in takeaway pizza!
Me & DH are trying to get each other to make an executive decision on whether it's Chinese or Italian.
I would normally have lots of spare calories by now but I want Wine and I had a cupcake earlier from a nursery DC, there are limits to what exercise can negate.

KatoPotato · 25/07/2012 18:14

Have a Chinese for me!!

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2012 18:16

ooh thats a good idea Bonkey

Warbies chicken pizza

Badvoc · 25/07/2012 18:19

Think so bonkeynbut will try t drink more...

InMySpareTime · 25/07/2012 18:26

DH ordered Chinese, chicken cashew nut, sharing a fried rice.
Both DCs are off school as of tomorrow so we'll have a good hard bike riding session to make up for today.
I'll drink slowly so DH gets the lion's share of the wine too.

LollipopViolet · 25/07/2012 18:35

Right, you know if sweat is fat crying... Does sitting in the steam room for a bit count? I've not been in for ages and quite fancy it after my mega workout tomorrow.

My fat will not cry, even if I go in to the steam room.

It will WEEP and beg for mercy! Grin

MEGA workout tomorrow Grin Grin

KatoPotato · 25/07/2012 18:56

I've never been in a steam room... Are they good/enjoyable?

LollipopViolet · 25/07/2012 20:15

Kato, it takes some getting used to - also there are certain conditions that mean you can't use them. I like it, although like I said, it took some getting used to. It's not "dry" heat like a sauna, so I'm happy :)

Oblomov · 25/07/2012 20:30

Laughing at seagull.
I to am 'big of norkage' and wonder what mine weigh.

Oblomov · 25/07/2012 20:44

I have been having horrific headaches 3 days out of the last 5. Will try to up water.

Oblomov · 25/07/2012 20:52

Sorry to post again. I LOVE steamrooms. And have been known to then dive into an icy pool, like a Russian walrus. This, I swear burns up 100's of calories as you gasp for breath. Only for the very brave/ truely mad.

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2012 21:42

yes, that does sound mad :)
I ahave eaten 800 cals today. Am musing whether to allow myself some chocolate.

^ yes def only for the truley crazy!

badvoc, I'm reading John Briffa at the moment. It's a really good read, makes a lot of sense.

Well I weighed in this morning and my scales tell me I put on 3lbs over the weekend. Even though I'm pretty sure most of it is water and glycogen it's still disheartening. Hopefully a few workouts to burn off the glycogen and it should come off again quite quickly (fingers double crossed).

No Wibble Wednesday has been my mantra today. Have we got one for tomorrow?

LollipopViolet · 25/07/2012 21:46

I found a really good quote that puts a smile on my face.

"Calories are small fairies that sneak into your wardrobe each night and take your clothes in an inch at a time."

It's true. They're sneaky little things.

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2012 21:49

socks :( it's always the way. Don't get disheartened.
I was thinking of Think Thin Thursday? Where we remind ourselves of why we're doing this? But open to suggestions.

KatoPotato · 25/07/2012 22:44

Think Thin Thursday! love it stealth... Have you stuck on 800 cals or had a treat? I've got 54 left of 1200 but am keeping the jaws clamped shut!

wherearemysocks · 25/07/2012 22:47

Ooh I like that Stealth, Think Thin is a good one.

Those calorie fairies are bastards!

BonkeyMunch · 25/07/2012 22:47

I had a cake Blush :(

Sooo pissed off at myself! It was in my gob before I realised. Shock

Bloody kids and their brilliant ideas!

I will be giving the remainder to my mum tomorrow and keeping 4. 2 for dh and 2 for ds!

StealthPolarBear · 25/07/2012 23:05

was it a fairy cake? Could have been a lot worse - at least it was child sized!
I am about to go and have 14g of chocoltae and then bed :) So will take me up to about 850
