Oh well- look to the positive. Going for a long walk tday. (Reviewing yesterday's food, today's walk will be even longer than oiginally planned!)

Oblomov · 22/07/2012 08:42

I have no idea which Spanx to order. or what size. I have read all the MN threads, but am still none-the-wiser. Sad

chipsandmayonnaise · 22/07/2012 08:53

I ordered from John Lewis- it was size C which is for people 4 ft 11- 6 ft weighing from 10 stone to 12 stone. I wonder a bit though about that very wide range of heights and weights..... can it really suck everything in for everyone???!!!

Have ordered super fast delivery too so I can see if I need to get something even more super-suckable.

InMySpareTime · 22/07/2012 08:55

I really wanted some of the toblerone I was given on Friday, so me & DD cycled round the block for 20 minutes then had a triangle eachGrin. I like this calorie balancing malarkeySmile.
Anyway, the sun is shining, it feels like summer, so all is well with the world right now (plus, it's before 9am and I have had exercise and chocolate already)

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/07/2012 09:17

Was I the only one not to fail yesterday?

It's only because I think I might have a tummy bug and was feeling sick all day. Think it may be the same today. Oh well every cloud has a silver lining! Grin

OddBoots · 22/07/2012 09:26

Hi all, I'm afraid I have been hiding from this thread because after trying to jolly Stealth back I lost the plot a little myself. I've not utterly fallen off but I've been eating enough to maintain. I'm going to tell myself that doing that for a few days is good for my metabolism and then get back going again.

Today is going to be a struggle as I am meeting up with a family for whom I was a surrogate mum for the daughters, the parents are very keen on 'treating' me, I might have to quietly pass treats on to my near-teen son as he has hollow legs!

StealthPolarBear · 22/07/2012 09:35

No idea if its good for your metaboliam but its probably good for your long term efforts to reward yourself every now and then. Otherwise its just a long hard slog. Sounds like you have stayed in control of it too, well done. are you joining us for Motivational Monday?

MilkshakeMaker · 22/07/2012 10:17

Motivational Monday has a very good ring to it!!!

See I like mondays as I've weighed in in the morning and technically have a week before next weigh in so I can stuff my face allow myself a naughty dinner!

OddBoots · 22/07/2012 11:00

Thank you. I will be here tomorrow. Do we do anything special for Motivational Monday? I could do with the motivation as my weigh in is Tues.

LollipopViolet · 22/07/2012 12:31

Well, I'm now confused.

I weigh every day, to make sure what I'm eating isn't having a drastic effect in the wrong direction.

My last official weigh in, I was 13st. The past 2 days, I've been 12st 13lbs. So, can I call that another pound off yet, or wait til tomorrow when it'll be official weigh in day? (if the scales don't go up again on me!)

I am DETERMINED to drop a jeans size before holiday - 47 days to do it!

InMySpareTime · 22/07/2012 12:38

I'm not counting today's weigh in, I'm waiting for Tuesday because today I weigh 1kg more than last week despite giving up cakeSad

LollipopViolet · 22/07/2012 13:12

In that case, I shall wait until tomorrow - one of my official weigh in days (the other being Friday) :)

InMySpareTime · 22/07/2012 14:30

I am really tired today, I had a nap after church. Is it likely to be the diet or am I coming down with something? I don't have time to be ill.

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/07/2012 15:49

Don't know. I've definitely got a tummy bug that started with utter exhaustion yesterday and has continued in the same vein.

BonkeyMollocks · 22/07/2012 16:55

Well I have ballsed up big time in the last 24 hours.

Wine and chips last night. Cheeseburger and ice cream and beer today Blush
I blame the sun Wink.

Weigh day in the morning. Not expecting a loss but praying for no gain!!

Lollipop (bad bad name on a weight loss thread! Wink )
Do you really need to weigh everyday? I would do twice a week at the most other wise it can become a bad habit. Weight can change all the time so while you may weigh a lb less than yesterday, tomorrow you may weigh that lb more for no reason to do with what your eating.

I'm in for Motivational Monday. My plan, get up, weigh self, shred first thing --before I wimp out!

KatoPotato · 22/07/2012 19:12

Ladies I bring news to make you feel better about anything you've eaten this weekend...

I've just had a Munchy Box...

Google it...

I'm a disgrace...

I didn't eat all of it...

What is motivational Monday? Will it help me???

BonkeyMollocks · 22/07/2012 19:16

When you said Munchy box I was thinking Munchies chocolate box.....then i googled! Shock

Is it wrong that i am slightly impressed?

KatoPotato · 22/07/2012 19:21

I think if you're going to have a blow out... Do it with style! I've been swimming and walking today... And only had a protein shake the whole test of day...

It's a masterpiece indeed...

slothprincess · 22/07/2012 19:28

Kato!!!! Shock I never knew such a creation existed! My DH desperate to have one!

BonkeyMollocks · 22/07/2012 19:29

I'm wondering why I have never heard of these before!!!

Probably a good thing, it would be the end of the weight loss efforts!

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/07/2012 19:30

Shock I think dh is jealous! He wants a munchy box now. :)

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/07/2012 19:30

X-post with everyone.

TheOneWithTheHair · 22/07/2012 19:33

Out of interest how much did it cost?

KatoPotato · 22/07/2012 19:40

£5.60 and includes a can of juice (diet irn bu... The irony runs deep)

InMySpareTime · 22/07/2012 19:55

I googled munchy box, it looks vile!
Why? Just why?
The google images looked like Saturday night pavement pizza, but in a box.
Please say it wasn't one of the 3000 calorie ones.
