When I was good all of the time, I was a couple of stone lighter.

I find it really hard. Toast and snacking has kept me awake and alive. I know I need to make changes.

Oblomov · 19/07/2012 20:39

By the way, stats wise. I think I started at 10 stone 10. I am only 5' 1 and 1/2.
I should be 9 stone. I did look ill and gaunt at 8.5 stone. I was 9 stone from age 16 through till pregnancy (approx 14 years) . Remember that as a diabetic, I have been weighed every 3 months at diabetic clinic, since birth, so my weight has always been monitored.
I should be 9 stone. But that seems impossible, right now.
I lost all my baby weight, through bfing, straight away, but am bigger now than I have ever been.
and I hate it. Hate myself. not good.
Plus, I have never dieted before, in my life. It is bloomin hard for a diabetic. every time I am not hungry, I don't HAVE to eat. But when my blood sugars go low, I HAVE to have lucozade and chocolate, to bring my blood sugars back up to normal. And funnily enough, that scuppers your weight loss. Tis very tricky for me.

But i am gettign alot , out of this thread, so I want to thank you all, for that. ALOT.

InMySpareTime · 19/07/2012 20:44

Herbal tea is nothing like Wine, or like Brew for that matter. It is making me feel less thirsty though.

chipsandmayonnaise · 19/07/2012 21:02

Thank you Oblomov. I was feeling Blush. I first started counting down to the wedding- (32 weeks to go...) and thought I had tons of time. Cue starve binge cycle.

I also feel angry that I am sucked into the soul destroying energy-sapping 'thing' that is dieting.

And I hate that the first thing my DMOther says when she sees me after a time away is 'you look well' or 'you look as if you have been happy'. Does anyone else understand that the first is 'you have lost weight, and the seond is you are fat'?

KatoPotato · 19/07/2012 21:05

I sacrificed everything and hit double gym circuit and an abs blast class for... Wait for it...

A chicken royale with cheese!

Oh reader, I died a little!!

BonkeyMollocks · 19/07/2012 21:07

Anyone mind if another jumps in?

Really really need some support and the thread I joined last night seems so quiet.

chipsandmayonnaise · 19/07/2012 21:15

we are here. :)

BonkeyMollocks · 19/07/2012 21:28

Right, here goes!

I am currently 12st 9lbs. Size 16 I try and kid myself its 14 but its 16, honesty is the way to go!

My weight pre ds was 9st 9lb. Size 10/12. Very happy at this weight/size. This is my aim!

Closest I got back to this was 10st 11lbs a few years ago. Ds is now 4 Blush and I just keep piling it on. I keep trying to get back on track and failing. :(

Tried ww doesn't really do the trick for me anymore. Was going to do Low carb but i am not a big meat eater so this isn't great for me.

Have the MFP app so am going to go down the good old fashioned way of 1200 cals and more exercise. I am also going to cut out bread and chocolate, these are my major downfalls!

I feel awful at the minute. A few people have asked dh if I am pg Shock . I carry it all around the middle and thighs! It needs to come off.

I feel so much better in myself when I am slimmer!

I'm off to read the thread and get motivated! :)

wherearemysocks · 19/07/2012 21:57

I feel like I'm eating loads compared to some of you. I have on average 2000-2200 calories per day, with my net around 1200/1300. I've been following a low carb plan but am still counting cals on MFP.

My weight loss is slower than many of yours but I feel if I restrict myself too much then that's when I slip which leads to beating myself up over it and that then leads to a binge.

KatoPotato · 19/07/2012 21:57

Welcome bonkey I'm katoabes on MFP... Add me If you like! And anyone else of course... I'll try and make my food diary public... Eek!!

I was 12 9 when I joined this thread and I'm on 12 1 this morning :)

InMySpareTime · 19/07/2012 21:58

Hello Bonkey you weigh less than me, and I'm a shortarse not very tall.
I'm playing a long game, cutting out snacks and most cake.
I'll be weighing in on Tuesday (by which time hopefully some weight will have shifted)

silver73 · 19/07/2012 21:58

Sorry not been on this thread for a while. I have lost 10 lbs in 9 days on Save and Slim. It is the only way I can diet as I need everything done for me as I just cannot do it on my own.

I am also doing Callanetics daily along with Tracy Anderson arm workouts and facial exercises. I can see some improvement but got a long way to go. Going to start an hour of fast walking a day tomorrow.

InMySpareTime · 19/07/2012 21:59

I'm inthesparetime on MFP

BonkeyMollocks · 19/07/2012 22:02

Thankyou for the welcome and well done on the loss's :)

I am going to weigh in every Monday morning, in a vain hope it will keep me on track during the weekend!

InMySpareTime · 19/07/2012 22:05

I'm ok with weekends, but not good at MondaysBlush.
I have no time on Mondays to weigh and report.

chipsandmayonnaise · 20/07/2012 05:14

Morning all, and welcome newcomers. :)

Thank you for being supportive when I had my wibble last night. Thanks

I am down 2 pounds this morning. I have not been this low since I had morning sickness!

Still feeling a little blue though, and on early shift at work. Tough day ahead.... my plan for today is to 'fake it until I make it'. Fake a sense of self confidence. I am also tired of the self doubt. So, for all of today, even if I havr to pretend I will be positive. :)

I hope you all have a great day- and a super weekend.

TheOneWithTheHair · 20/07/2012 07:32

Morning everyone. Welcome Bonkey and well done today's losers.

Ok you've talked me round. I'll keep going until my holiday. I hope to have maintained on Monday. That would be good. I'll weigh in before I go.

I'm going to have to fake it too today just to get back in the swing. Thank you everyone for being so kind.

InMySpareTime · 20/07/2012 07:36

Good morningSmile
I have to make something for end of term presents today (without eating anyBlush), then I have the youth club end of term party (lots of party nibbles), and drinks in the pub afterwards for the leaders. I'm going to need to exercise hard, and bring some big food to stop me filling up on party food.

TheOneWithTheHair · 20/07/2012 08:15

Try to make sure you eat before you go to the party. If you're full you'll pick less. Same goes for when you make the teacher presents. If you don't feel hungry you won't be so tempted. Good luck.

InMySpareTime · 20/07/2012 08:22

Problem is we're setting up the party from 3.30! I'll have to bring something.
I'm making fudge for teachers, ingredients are in the pan, I'll cook it up after the school run.

InMySpareTime · 20/07/2012 10:41

Fudge is made, and no tastingSmile
I'm going to have to eat something, I think I'll raid the garden for raspberries and blueberries (I really know how to live it up)

StealthPolarBear · 20/07/2012 10:45

Lol :)
I'm getting all excited about making spicy bean burgers tonight, as they'll hopefully be something loew cal for me, that DH will enjoy and that the kids might like AND they'll use up most of the rubbish left in the fridge and freezer
Very impressed at no tasting

InMySpareTime · 20/07/2012 10:59

Fresh blueberries and raspberries straight from the bush are really very yummySmile
I feel better now, I also did a bit of weeding while I was out there, so at worst my snack is calorie neutral.

StealthPolarBear · 20/07/2012 11:06

I would love to have raspberry bushes, are they very difficult to grow?
Thank you to whoever mentioned promising youraelf a snack later. I have been using it yesterday and today and its definitely helping. I wanted chocolate today at 10.30 so promised myself some at 11. I've just had a small piece and now its nearly lunchtime
