Welcome IMST. I'd recommend using My Fitness Pal which is a free online tool where you can keep track of your food and exercise. I track everything I eat and it's really helped me make sure I'm eating a balanced diet.

Brilliant loss Purpletoes!

wherearemysocks · 16/07/2012 16:26

Well done all you losers, and welcome new comers. I've decided I don't like weighing in on Mondays so I'm gonna do it tomorrow. I think it may be because I don't drink enough water at weekends so I end up retaining some. At work today so I should get through a good few pints, of water that is not beer :)

I'm going along to help on a school trip tomorrow and need a pack lunch, so need to try and think what I can take that isn't a sandwich.

Hope everyone has a good week x

And those that haven't done as well as they hoped (me included), keep going strong it will come off in the end. Stealth, you've done so well to come this far, don't worry if you need to take a break for a little while but don't reverse your good work, you'll get to your goal soon.

LollipopViolet · 16/07/2012 16:46

Well I've fallen off the wagon, which is annoying :(

And I'm really angry and sad at the moment, and it needs to come out but I've got no way of venting my frustration - double :( :(

Still, doing something with DBoyfriend tomorrow, that'll make me happy.

LollipopViolet · 16/07/2012 16:56

However, bringing some positivity now:

*I wore a dress to Graduation!"

I felt good, and didn't look too awful, I don't think. Looking pretty in my cap and gown, if I do say so myself

I'm just slightly annoyed that I seem to still have that pregnant look in certain clothes - like that dress really :( - but I've never been pregnant!! Annoying!

Still think I look good though :)

MilkshakeMaker · 16/07/2012 17:36

Stealth you slacker get your hoo har on them scales and stop trying to take the easy road! failing that you've made a massive achievement and if you are feeling happy within yourself then have a break, just try not to put it all back on!

Well done everyone who has lost this week, and if you havnt try not to be disheartened it sucks but vent your frustrations here, at the gym..anywhere but the fridge!

I'm so annoyed the shop on route home didn't have the batteries I needed so I still can't weigh, if I've lost weight I want to shout about it and if I've put on I want to moan about it. Huff.

Excellent Stuff Lollipop I think you look awesome.

I've added a pic to my profile of my new fave dress, and yes it was taken by a tall friend so angles are good, but it's the happiest I've felt in a long time!

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/07/2012 18:23

Wow. You both look great. I might put a pic on my profile if I reach my goal. Until then I'm steering clear of cameras.

KatoPotato · 16/07/2012 18:33

Trying cauliflower rice for dins tonight... With frozen curry sauce and chicken breast. I may or may not have tanked a lot of calories on reese's mini peanut butter cups...

marriedinwhite · 16/07/2012 18:51

Kato and Lollipop - with youth like that on your sides who cares - you are both gorgeous.

I haven't managed to abstain but I have managed to lose 1/2lb so that makes 1/2 a stone in 4 weeks and I feel better. Would like to lose 4lb in the next two weeks before we go on holiday and to keep it off for the three weeks we are away. Fingers crossed. Hoping this will be an easier week as have far less socialising.

slothprincess · 16/07/2012 19:24

Lovely lovely photos Kato and Lollipop.

KatoPotato · 16/07/2012 20:11

Kato and Lollipop you both look gorgeous, maybe I'll get brave and post a pic (if I can figure out how to) when I wear my new dress to wedding at end of next month.

What's cauliflower rice?

KatoPotato · 16/07/2012 20:31

I just whizzed cauliflower heads in the processer microwaved and stirred through curry sauce!! Served with a grilled chickrn breast for a grand total of 297 calories!

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/07/2012 21:22

That sounds a bit weird Kato. Which sauce did you use?

KatoPotato · 16/07/2012 21:29

Mayflower curry sauce powder mix... Honest it was lovely! I'm making cauliflower pizza base tomorrow too!

TheOneWithTheHair · 16/07/2012 22:19

Thanks Kato. I'll have a look at that tomorrow.

KatoPotato · 16/07/2012 22:21

There's a link to a really lovely caulie mashed potato too... Not tried it yet, mebbes tomorrow!

MilkshakeMaker · 16/07/2012 22:36

kato I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say you might like cauliflower?

OP posts:
KatoPotato · 16/07/2012 23:07

Well milkshake I do love my cauliflower! However no more than five portions a week or it can give you gout! Superfoods eh?

MilkshakeMaker · 16/07/2012 23:27

Gout eh? Well I've learnt something new before bedtime!

I cant find the batteries I need anywhere, dreadful feeling i'm going to have to order them online and wait 3 weeks for them to turn up ...only 87p on Amazon though!

Hope everyone is behaving themselves I've been gutted so good tonight, dp ordered in pizza and I only had 1 slice. I'm having a major sugar crave now though so taking myself off to nodsville.

Ooooooohhhhhhh, I luuurve the photo's of Kato and Lillipop.
Ermm, since when did we allow gorgeous young fillies on this thread? You're only allowed on if your fat, old and ugly, ya know. Hence my prescence.
Hope stealth is o.k. and comes back.
Welcomes newbies.
I have a Hobbs dress, that needs to be altered, for sun 29th, sons holy communion. All of this, is for trying to look good on that day. The dress is a size 14, but needs to be nipped in at the waist.
I will not, no matter what, look as good as Lollipop and Kato though. Mind you I didn't look as good as them, 10 years ago, when I was 30 either, but hey ho !!
I am bored of all food at the moment. And want to eat nothing, Is that good?

TheOneWithTheHair · 17/07/2012 07:58

Can I just be fat and ugly. At 35 I don't consider myself to be old!

I wish I didn't want anything to eat. Seriously fell off the wagon last night. Kebab for tea (although I didn't eat all the naan) and two glasses of wine. I think I need a day without food to make up for it. I dread to think how many calories I consumed.
