Fuckity fuck fuck!!

I have has mega busy day, not planned very well. Popped in M&S on the way home from school run to get a couple of bits. I was starving sonI grabbed a 'snack pot' of cashew nuts, by the time I got home I had finished the whole pot, only when I went to enter it into MFP did I realise that it was a 70g pot, so enough for a snack for about 4 people! 435 fucking calories!!!

I know nuts are calorific but they are protein so I thought better than a croissant or bag of crisps or something. That'll teach me to pay more attention Sad

friendly7 · 13/07/2012 19:57

I believe they are better so I think you've had a good snack. Don't worry about the calories, there are different types. Not all are bad. Anyway, here is a good article I think, of course best not to eat too many nuts which I tend to do :(

StealthPolarBear · 13/07/2012 20:07

A croissant would have had more I think. was going tk get myself one of those large cookies from waitrose the other day but it was something like 550cal! And nuts will have filled you up more than crisps

wherearemysocks · 13/07/2012 21:06

Thanks girls, feel a bit better about it now. :)

KateSpade · 13/07/2012 21:11

Gym again today, i beat my distance rowing to 1600 meters in 10 mins. Im not sure if in general thats good or bad, but I'm pleased with myself. & yes, i did see Fit Trainer guy, he said 'hello, you alright' and i said the same back. I love him!

TheOneWithTheHair · 13/07/2012 21:11

You've forgiven him then Kate. Grin

KateSpade · 13/07/2012 21:15

Oh, no. He's still a twat, but i wanted it to be like, yes, i am trying hard you knob head!

He is absolutely gorgeous. & I haven't had a 'proper' date or sex in around two years, so this counts (In my head) as male attention!

TheOneWithTheHair · 13/07/2012 21:21

Ooooh. Sounds like the beginning of a new tv series. When is the next episode?

KateSpade · 13/07/2012 21:31

I wish. Im going to the gym sunday (working tomorrow) but probably later on in the week going to bootcamp monday night, weight watchers tuesday, so maybe wednesday onwards! He will keep my mind occupied at work.

Also Has anyone tried the weight watchers frozen meal of Mushroom and broccoli melt with wedges? Its amazing, 6 points. I am going to live of that when i go back to Uni!

MilkshakeMaker · 14/07/2012 07:49

It's nice to fancy someone isn't it, I had the same situation with the hottest taxi driver I have ever seen if I wasn't going to work I would have made him drive around for hours just so I could stay in the car, I kept catching his beautiful come to bed eyes in the rear view mirror, corr I'll never forget you sexy taxi man... Phoar!

Morning all. I had a good day yesterday. I feel back on track now. How are you all getting on?

KatoPotato · 14/07/2012 11:26

Just back from 10am double Zumba with a face as hot and red as a tomato...

I took my own snack pot of cashews to work yesterday and measured out 25g... Have you ever seen 25g of jumbo cashews? It's like 7 of the feckers!

But then I'm going to a house party tonight.. I plan to drink vodka and sparkling water with zero cal lime a far cry from the two 2L bottles of strongbow I used to take to house pArties at Uni...

MilkshakeMaker · 14/07/2012 12:16

Well my new dress has just been delivered...its a 14 yay! I'm also out tonight and planning on vodka soda and blackcurrent, not my usual drink but its just not worth it to undo all the hard work over last few weeks, not forgetting the 7lb in 3 weeks challenge, its been very good motivation for not being naughty and giving in, even if I don't manage it I know I'll have done better than if I was doing as before so thank you stealth!

KatoPotato · 14/07/2012 13:18

Morning all- guests all weekend but i managed to stay slightly on track. Hamburgers and chips yesterday and i did not have any chips and only 3/4 of the hamburger..... so, I was actively tryng to NOT say 'bugger it, I will start again on Monday'.
Am making a huge pot of tomato and basil soup, and back tio ryvitas, and soup. However tonight we are having baked salmon and salad. 7 pounds in 3 weeks- I am still going to do it!!!!

On the upside, last night I wore a dress that is usually snug, and it was not snug. It is an old dress left over from maternity days, but that is a start!

WI day on Friday, and I have a spinning class on Wednesday and a zumba class on Thursday. wish me luck! And good luck to everyone else. :)

MammaTo2boys · 15/07/2012 11:25

Hi all
Kato did you see your fella at the gym? Anymore to tell us?
Milkshake well done on the size 14 dress, I'm envious. I'm still in maternity clothes, I've 2 pairs of size 14 trousers and I can't get into them yet. Can't wait to get out of preggy clothes.
Chips I think you may win the not giving into weekend temptation award for your saintlyness with the abstaining of chip eating.
I've tried to be good, had an odd treat but stayed within my MFP allowance. Hope to go for a run this afternoon if LO can come off the boob long enough. Hope everyone has manasged to stay in the zone.

wherearemysocks · 15/07/2012 16:27

I just got back from shopping and I bought a dress for a wedding I'm going to, in a size.....12! It was £140 down to £70 in sale and the last one left so I had to get it, it's an empire line cut and so skims over tum and hips, it's a bit lumpy bumpy at the moment but I have 6 weeks till wedding to hopefully lose at least 10lbs and with the right underwear it should be quite flattering. So I have to make sure there are no slips (except for hen weekend) and stick to my cals and force myself to shred.

TheOneWithTheHair · 15/07/2012 17:03

That's great Socks. I bet you'll look svelt and fab!

slothprincess · 15/07/2012 17:34

Sounds like we're doing well at keeping on track this weekend.

I had my baby's christening today. Smile It was a fab day but I'm absolutely knackered now. I felt good in my dress and the zip did up much easier around my waist than when I wore it at the end of May. I didn't go mental at the buffet table, but I just have to restrain myself from falling on the left over cake in the kitchen and accidently eating half of it. I've already inhaled a few sugar flowers that were teasing me on the edge. Words of strength needed please fellow losers!
