Ok then challenge accepted! Nothing like a bit of healthy competition Grin

Weigh tomo and by 1st Aug whoever has lost the most between now and then gets to do the ner ner dance? Though it should technically be win win as we will both have hopefully lost more than just plodding along

No more ice cream for me, must beat stealth!

And the fake it thing works in loads of situations but i've never thought to use it like that. I do it when theres something dreadful I really dont want to go to but cant get out of, I just fake that I'm having a good time and when I get home I realise it was bearable whereas if I was rude and sat there making it clear I didnt want to be there I would have found it the train wreck. I'm rambling ..

Morning all , I have done my mid week weigh and I have lost another pound , my dvds have eventually arrived so I have no excuse now . I will shred today , feel free to come and nag me later .

It sounds like everyone is doing really well , I love the idea of faking it and pretending I am that person with will power , seven pounds in three weeks you say ? Count me in ! I have a week in France to get through in the middle of that , and bread is my nemesis so could be interesting .

Good luck today everyone !

MilkshakeMaker · 12/07/2012 07:58

Well I'm on day 5 of not exercising as I've done something to my back, not sure what I was doing agreeing to a challenge but it makes me all the more determined, so this week so far I haven't lost anything but I havnt put on either so happy with that.. race to 7lb starts today!

I'm happy to do the ner ner dance to multiple people traveling feel free to join in (again responsibly of course)

Morning all. I got a bit of a flaming in chat yesterday (first time) and it's upset me more than I thought it would. It's made me want to eat.

I've decided to take up the 7lbs in three weeks challenge too as a way to distract myself. I'm working overnight tonight so tomorrow will be a real will power test when I'm tired.

StealthPolarBear · 12/07/2012 08:34

OK I actually weighed myself this morning and was 12st4 or 12st5, which is fantastic given how much I ate over the weekend. SO I want to be comfortably 11st something by the end of the month - no "bad days" leading to the needle hitting the 12st mark again iyswim.
Race is on.
Hair, sorry to hear that :( (hope I wasn't one of them!!). What are you craving?

I just had one of my morning coffees. I'm a bit broke until next week so I bought ASDA's skinny cappuccino sachets at...236 calories each!! I have to limit my consumption of them but I hate the other coffee we have here (Gold Blend, ach).

I'm planning on eating healthily all day and avoid too many carbs and tonight I'll either do a fitness DVD or spend half an hour on the crosstrainer. It's DF (fiance)'s job to walk the dog today so unless I'm feeling especially motivated I'm just walking ten minutes to the school, ten minutes home and exercising around 6pm.

Is 6pm too late for a 45 minute exercise session? It's not too intense but it's exercise all the same.

lauratheexplorer · 12/07/2012 09:31

I just checked the box and I am a dope. It's 58 calories per sachet!!

StealthPolarBear · 12/07/2012 09:35

Ooh celebrate with a cappuccino:)
Don't see that 6 would be too late. I'm hoping to shred today at lunch but am meant to be working but can't turn my computer on! So think I might be trying to catch up at lunch, assuming I get sorted

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/07/2012 09:52

Don't worry Stealth I don't think it was anyone on here. Grin It was in chat and not even AIBU.

I want chocolate. :( Luciky for me I don't have any. I'll stick with an egg and see how that takes me. We also have some delicious nectarines in the fridge so I'll have that too and that will be breakfast/lunch sorted.

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/07/2012 09:53

Meant to say how crap about your computer. I hope it's sorted sooner rather than later.

chipsandmayonnaise · 12/07/2012 10:26

Morning all,

I have been awol... finishing a big project at work and have been living off takeaways and drinking way too much wine after my work day (finishing at 9.30!) to 'unwind'. Weigh in this morning- up 2 pounds, now 10 stone 13. But my offical weigh in was meant to be tomorrow....

So, I am planning for a hard 3 day attack where I eat mainly veg soup and ryvitas with protein to try and undo some of the damage and then i will reassess. [sigh]

This morning I have had a cup of WW 2 point soup, two ryvitas, a scrape of butter and sliced tomato. Lunch will be homemade french onion soup, two ryvitas and boiled egg and dinner will be roasted butternut squash soup, ryvitas and cumber and ham. I was up at 6 this morning making soup.....

Wish me luck! will go back and re-read all the thread pages I have missed lately. Is there a 7 pound in 3 weeks challenge? I am IN!

KatoPotato · 12/07/2012 10:31

stealth we're level pegging! I'm 12 4 as of this morning and also want to see 11 by the end of the month!! Official gym weigh in tonight and measurements... So it's hello Jillian as of tonight!!

whyme2 · 12/07/2012 11:15

Nice to check in this morning and hear some positive posts. I was a little Shock at laura and 258 calorie skinny cappuccinos and was about to post how they could not possibly be that because on my box blah blah blah. And then I read on.

This morning I have eaten 2 dippy eggs with some lovely soft white tiger bread. I am now resisting the urge to eat more bread as it is so very delicious.

Hope your back is better soon milkshake

KatoPotato · 12/07/2012 11:15

In other news I've also got a size 14 vest on this morning!

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/07/2012 16:23

Well done Kato.

I had an icecream and now I feel bad. It's been harder than I thought to get back on track after the weekend. Someone give me a kick pls.

StealthPolarBear · 12/07/2012 16:28

You deserve a treat and it isn't a problem, it can be incorporated. Just don't let this be the thing that triggers the "screw it" feelings. Get back on track. You can do it. I've eaten too much choc today but logged it all and am determined to manage it within my calories. If you decide the diet is off, you'll only end up "here" again, starting a new diet in a few weeks time, but you'll be that bit heavier.

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/07/2012 16:34

You're right. I know. I will get back on it from right now. I really, really don't want to have to start again.

Thanks Stealth. I felt a bit like the chocolate digestive thing all over again. I'm a bit all or nothing so I find it hard to put things in perspective sometimes.

Right. Crisis over, determination back.

StealthPolarBear · 12/07/2012 16:36

Good for you, and if you feel you're lacking willpower, fake it.

(nb this has yet to actually work for me Blush)

StealthPolarBear · 12/07/2012 17:00

Urgh just crammed myself into some s14 jeans. They're on, ill say that. They may also prevent me eating too much pasta tonight

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/07/2012 17:02

Grin that's a good thing isn't it? Well done though.
