I've ordered Shred, it'll be here tomorrow though god knows when I will do it as DH commandeers the tv every night!

LollipopViolet · 09/07/2012 19:46

I'm stressed, I'm angry, and I want CAKE!

But, I'm going to resist. I've just eaten dinner for a start - but oooooh it's times like this that would see me reaching for the chocolate.

StealthPolarBear · 09/07/2012 19:51

What's up lv?

LollipopViolet · 09/07/2012 21:06

Voluntary film project. I'm working with 3 first years and one of my old lecturers. Everything is getting passed to me as I'm now a graduate, and that on top of job searching has been making me feel like a pressure cooker waiting to burst.

Feel better now though, emailed said lecturer saying all that and he's said to delegate anything I'm struggling with.

lauratheexplorer · 09/07/2012 21:51

I did an hour walk. I'm proud :o

wherearemysocks · 09/07/2012 22:07

Well done laura.

Hope you can sort out your work load lollipop, have you got other ways to de-stress? A nice bath, or some trashy tv where you can switch off brain, for me I'm partial to a bit of on-line shopping :)

Put it in as circuits, I've measured it on a heart rate monitor before and it's a pretty accurate amount of cals.

And well done, how didn you find it?

Wow that quite a calculation, MFP gave me 206 so I guess if I'm a little bit heavier than you that sounds about right.

marriedinwhite · 10/07/2012 05:35

OMG I couldn't believe it. 3.5lb at weigh in. That's a total of 6.5lb in three weeks. It was a very slow start - it feels like a miracle Grin.

OddBoots · 10/07/2012 07:05

Well done marriedinwhite :)

I'm 2lbs off this week, not too bad given my bad couple of days. I have two points in time I am focussing on, one the first day back in Sept (I work in education) and two Christmas. I want to have made an obvious difference to my shape by Sept and be at target by Christmas.

FlatCapAndAWhippet · 10/07/2012 07:24

Morning all, too much choc for me yesterday!! Blush

friendly7 · 10/07/2012 08:11

Morning all. Checked my weight again to be sure as my scales often play up, last week I've lost half a kg. Not a lot but at least something. So now I need to loose around 7 kg or so. And around 5 cm off my waist. I wonder how long it will take and also whether this time it's not going to get back to square one. Hope not, so annoying to try and then get back to where I've started. Will try my best to have healthy diet plans and walking.
Good luck to everyone!!!

whyme2 · 10/07/2012 09:26

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your friendly encouragement friendly I really appreciate it.

Well after the weekend I put off my weigh in until today and I am 1.5 pounds down on last week Grin
Definitely think it is all the dog walking - I am exhausted. But all to the good.
I need to think of a replacement activity for when the dog goes home at the weekend.
Glad everyone is positive, wish it would stop raining though . . .

TheOneWithTheHair · 10/07/2012 09:40

Hi again everyone and hello to everyone who joined while I've been away.

We had an amazing few days. There was so much food that we only needed to eat twice or even once a day. It was delicious full of beautiful meat, fish and salads. The alcohol was plentiful of course. And I did have the odd ice-cream although I'm claiming that as part of my bid to feel better as I has tonsillitis while we were away. Why is it that the first chance to relax in years is also the first time I'm ill in years?

On the plus side we walked everywhere because the driving was truly terrifying. I would never want to drive there.

I bit the bullet and weighed in this morning, a day late. I maintained so I'm pleased. I really thought I would have gained with all the food and wine. So still bang on 12st but I'm ready to try hard again this week.

A surprise pound off this morning! Taking me to 12 4... Considering I was 12 9 three weeks ago, not bad going! Xxx

lauratheexplorer · 10/07/2012 11:08

I weighed this morning and weigh 4lb less than I thought I did! That's cheered me up

friendly7 · 10/07/2012 12:12

Hi whyme2, you are very welcome. Congratulations on your success!!! Yes, after the dog goes back you need to find something as good :) Good luck with finding something that works wonderfully well for you.

Well done all you losers Grin

I weighed in again this morning and it seems I have lost 1.5lbs since yesterday. So am much happier now, that makes in 5lbs in 2 weeks (and 1 day).

I've got work men all over my flat again today so nowhere to shred, but dd1 has brownies tonight so that will be an extra walk.

whyme2 · 10/07/2012 13:54

eightytwenty the weights are the death sentence that comes with the shred.

Good luck! Grin

TheOneWithTheHair · 10/07/2012 14:06

Are they nice workmen?Grin

What are you having done?
