right off to put together a stir fry. I have fry lite so it should not be too bad for me

MelodyPondering · 03/07/2012 17:02

Well it was weigh day yesterday. I stayed the pissing same.

So I did what any rational person would do and wailed and sobbed and stamped my feet.

Then I gave myself a slap and I'm back in the game.....I now have 5 weeks until the honeymoon, I've lost 1st 9lbs so far, I just need to keep going.

Seriously though, why the fuckity fuck would I not lose?!

slothprincess · 03/07/2012 17:03

White chocolate lion bar......how have I missed this????
I'm a bit of a saddo about liking to be "in the hoop" with new delicious products. I can't resist trying something new when it comes out. Basically I'm a marketer's dream. Just launch something slightly different and like a sucker, I'll always buy it!

MammaTo2boys · 03/07/2012 17:05

Welcome eightytwenty
I don't like white chocolate so the white lion bar is not tempting me.
kato unwrap the shred, after a few days of doing that you will see results, its amazing.
I've been good again today but its my wedding anniversary tomorrow andv DH just came home with all the ingredients for his extra scrummy chocolate orange cheesecake. Its his speciality dish, I've never worked out the calories per slice, it would devastate me. So I know tomorrow is going to be a naughty day.
Hope everyone is staying in the zone x

MelodyPondering · 03/07/2012 17:06

I agree about the shred, I bloody love it

Disclaimer: I am only on level one...

KatoPotato · 03/07/2012 17:11

Oh but it was glorious! - and polish... had to google Thuszcz and Blonnik... that must be devotion!

LollipopViolet · 03/07/2012 19:08

I HAVE A DEGREE!!!!

I got a 2:2 and I'm over the moon about it! I got chicken pox eright at deadline time last year (when I SHOULD have graduated) and failed 2 modules. Came back from January this year to retake, thought the best I'd get was a 3rd. Seriously happy :)

On a diet note, I had a Subway today, but everything else has been pretty healthy, mainly because I've been on shoot therefore not had time to eat...

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2012 19:18

Lolliop tht's brilliant! Well done, you deserve it. You have our full permission to crack open the champagne and chocolates.

MilkshakeMaker · 03/07/2012 19:25

Oh melody :( stick with it
I've managed today, sushi for lunch, falafel salad thing tonight, bag of crisps, choc bar and still cals left. Ikwym about food value and I too am eating loads of eggs! Don't find houmous too bad thougj, esp the low fat stuff. Sushi brilliant as feels lik a treat but only about 200cal for a big pack. Also mini onion bahjis and samosas, again feel like a treat but faily low in cal for what you get. Started having them with a raita dip with curry instead of nan

Congratulations lollipop!

I know I'm a bit behind on this, but I've started using MFP the last few days. Does anyone know whether I should be too bothered if I go over on my protein allowance? Also, I'm breastfeeding, so I guess I should allow extra calories for that?

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2012 20:08

wwoworwoworry about anything other than cals and fat if I am way oberr.

You can log breastfeeding, just search for it as a food and you get neg calories. I don't bother but for the amount I'm feeding now it prob doesn't make much difference

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2012 20:10

Not sure what happened there!

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 03/07/2012 20:37

Eighty, I've not got kids yet, not in the right position to start a family yet.

Currently have lovely, supportive boyfriend, but not quite ready for kids! :)

slothprincess · 03/07/2012 21:04

Thanks Stealth, I wondered if there was a way to do it but couldn't work it out.

Welcome flatcap Smile

friendly7 · 03/07/2012 21:13

Hi, I was doing well with my healthy eating but I feel I had too big meal tonight with 2 sausages + lentils and mash. I think I've piled up too much on my plate and didn't stop in time :( Feels heavy now. Will try to be better thinking tomorrow.

MonMome · 03/07/2012 21:23

Please count me in; have been on MFP since Sunday and am now obsessed with logging everything!

Bought some scales today and weighed myself for the first time in about a year, horrified to discover I'm 14 1/2 stone... desperate to shift some weight and feel healthier!

friendly7 · 03/07/2012 21:35

Hi MonMome, good luck with the weight loss. Warm welcome :) I wish I knew weight in stones, I only understand kg. I need to loose 8 kg...

KateSpade · 03/07/2012 21:47

3 LB LOSS THIS WEEK

yes! Get the fuck in! Sorry for swearing, but im so pleased! Just got back from the gym, saw the hunky personal trainer who said 'Alright' I love him!

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2012 21:51

Hi Mon, it does get obsessive, doesn't it?woo hoo kate that's brilliant!

wherearemysocks · 03/07/2012 21:52

Well done Lollipop, that's really good.

I managed to swerve the buffet at the meeting I was at today, it was basically platters of thick cut sandwiches and potato wedges. I found a new place I've not seen before called Pop, I had a smoked salmon wrap but with seaweed instead of bread and a 'slower burn' side salad. About 350 cals in all and very filling.

Tomorrow's meeting will be more testing though as they are actually bringing samples for us to try.

No time for shredding today though, but according to my fitbit I have walked 12.5 miles!

wherearemysocks · 03/07/2012 21:54

Hey well done Kate that's awesome. Good work.
