marriedinwhite · 02/07/2012 22:30

Thanks Never. Have had 24 pro points today. Got to keep it up for another week now.

whyme2 · 03/07/2012 06:51

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

I think I had a good first day, I see the future will contain lots of baked potatoes for me. I was very impressed with myself as when I got home for lunch I realised there was no salad left so instead of scoffing 3 bags of crisps I walked to the shop and bought salad, ham and wholemeal bread to make a decent sandwich. I also did my first power walk although there was some lack of power coming back up the big hill. I realised how much I hate being this fat and unfit. I am going to use that as my motivation.

I find it much harder to stay on track when I am away or even at the weekend. I think because it is harder to plan when and what you will eat.

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2012 07:14

Well done married! Good luck lollipop, please let us know.
Hi neverknowingly. Yes you are fat, or you wouldn't be on here. But this is the fattest you'll be. In a week's time I expect 2lb off, make it happen!

StealthPolarBear · 03/07/2012 07:15

Well done why me :)
Well, wish me luck resisting the calorie laden sandwiches and meal deal crisps! Currently on train, easy to resist the food on here!

whyme2 · 03/07/2012 08:31

It is easy to resist that stuff - it's later on in the day when you are getting hungry and tired and a nice calorie laden sandwich or slice of cake takes your eye.

Good luck, keeps strong.

whyme2 · 03/07/2012 08:33

You will feel better for it, i always do after coming out of the gym. I know i didn't go last night, but tonight i will be on it like steroids! Grin

Todays the weigh in. Fingers crossed for me. Im hoping its a weight loss like Married, well done!

Eggrules · 03/07/2012 09:53

Yesterday was a good food day and I stayed within my 1500 calorie limit.
Things today have started well. Once the shopping has been delivered I will plan my food for the rest of the day and tomorrow.

I am out on Thur and have planned the following:
McDonalds - coffee, egg muffin and orange juice 425 cals
Subway - veggie delight, southwest sauce and diet cherry coke 300 cals
dinner - 725 cals leftover

I really need to plan in advance what I am going to eat. Did anyone see Secret Eaters?

I still haven't started the shred dvd.

travellingwilbury · 03/07/2012 10:18

Thank you all , I have been and gone and done it , another day of the shred of evil completed , if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have bothered .

I love the phrase about the scales being my friend , that is exactly how it feels .

Good luck for weigh in today !

TheOneWithTheHair · 03/07/2012 10:20

Well done travelling. You can hold your head up high now. :)

KatoPotato · 03/07/2012 10:26

Morning all!

Well I was lazy lump last night and didn't go to the gym after work... Gillian is still under wraps, but I've already told you my -excuse- reason for this

I ate a fish finger sandwich for dinner (surprisingly low cal at 400 for the lot) and lay horizontal watching dirge TV including the 'orrific Geordie Shore...

Booked for a double Zumba session tonight no matter what!

Protein Shake for brekkie - 190
Pistachios for snacking 25g - 138 (getting eyed up already)

Egg I love secret eaters and the ilk, my favourite part of these shows is the fat folk's summary vids where they shovel in Chinese etc.. I feel like they're eating on my behalf - food porn by proxy if you will!

Need lunch inspiration- nothing with me and only a tesco metro and newsagent within walking distance...

Eggrules · 03/07/2012 11:31

I take perverse pleasure in reading before food diaries. I know I eat far less when I log food so the irony isn't lost on me.

My DM drives me mad. Apparently, she is very overweight because she doesn't eat enough. Calories used must be more than calories consumed if you want to loose weight. She will not have it.

You only have to do small things to make a difference. The Secret Eater that was really good all week and gave herself the weekend off springs to mind. One bottle of wine a week and 2 biscuits a day could mean 1lb a week weight gain.

..Thread Killer...

Just kidding! - Welcome eighty!

Well you shouldn't have let me go to the shop... Did you know you get White Chocolate Lion bars?! Did you know they are amazing?

I'm disgusted at myself.. and I had to translate the polish nutritional information for WW online! - Shouldn't have bothered because now I'm having no dinner! :(

Not really, I'm going to make a super thin crepe style omlette hybrid instead...

Oh Kato, step away from the corner shop...

Was nearly excited about my omlette... then you said falafel and humous... there's just not enough 'Waka waka' to cover it!!!

I may unwrap Gillian tonight... DH is going out...

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 03/07/2012 16:47

afternoon ladies,
sounds like a mixed bag of slimming today..

I have been at the zoo all day with 30 5 year olds and this is the first time I have sat down (properly) since 8.30 this morning
had wholewheat bread, lettuce and scrap of cheese sandwich and 2 satsuma's for lunch.
Just ruined it by having bag of wheat crunchies now we are back from school.
Am home tomorrow morning so am going to dust off the wii fit.

MilkshakeMaker · 03/07/2012 16:47

White choccy lion bar?!! That shounds aMAAAAAAZing!

Welcome eightytwenty I know what you mean about wanting 'value' for your food, ds threw a very big wobbly to make me swap lunches with him but i refused to eat his wait for it...511 cal SAUSAGE ROLL!! that to me is stupid, i'm feeling very ranty about it! maybe a bit ashamed i was going to give it to him

I'm planning on shedding tonight, i've been trying to find my pilates dvd as used it last year and could really feel it working on my tummy but i cant find it anywhere, or online to replace it. snot fair.

I am wishing I had the energy of ds2. I have just bought him new trainers. It's his third pair since Christmas because he's so non-stop he keeps wearing holes in the soles and getting wet feet. He's 3 fgs. I thought they were supposed to grow out of them at that age!

I wish I had his get-up-and-go. I'd be thin by now. :(
