Got weighed after 8 days of shredding and whilst my weight has stayed the same - haven't exactly dieted - my body fat has gone down and muscle percentage up. No idea how the scales work this out but I do feel more 'muscley' so something must be going on...

I'm going to focus on L2 now and try to increase the weights I use. I only use 1kg, I'm amazed some of you use 5kg!

I will be starting shredding later, but I dont have any weights! Will tins of beans do until I get some at the weekend?!

Bogeyface tins of something absolutely fine to start with! I think I started with beans.
Look out for some weights soon though as I reckon you'll want to move up quite quickly...

Notyummy Lucky you going to the olympic park! Dsis has been trying to get tickets for herself and her DP and hasn't been able to yet. :)

Day 4 of 30DS L1 today. No aches and pains today and the only thing i'm struggling with are the push ups but i'm sure i'll be doing them with ease before longGrin

Jess just won first event with a new PB- fastest ever time in a Hepthalon!!

And the British lady in the triple jump just qualified in 2nd place....znd she is 39! Inspirational, no?

Wow notyummy have an amazing time! I saw the hepthalon hurdles earlier, so inspiring to see how strong their bodies are.

She won the hurdles with the same time that won gold for the hurdles in Bejing, that is impressive!

What amazes me is how world records are broken time and time again. Will they just keep getting broken ad infinitum? It's jaw-dropping!

Evening all, can I pick your brains?

Something is up with my very low back, just on one side. It feels like if I bend backwards enough it should sort of click back into place, but it hasn't. If you feel your lower back, just above the bum, those two bones each side? It's the right-hand one.

I do get lower back pain from time to time but not at all like this. It feels like a very specific small point is out of place.

I exercised today and didn't really feel it. It doesn't really hurt. Afterwards, it was no worse but no better.

Should I just carry on do you think? Is the consensus that you should try and ignore back niggles and carry on regardless?

Was just starting to feel like I was getting slimmer and have then missed 3 days shredding to go and see the cricket! Did however have to walk 1/2 hour each way to the ground for 2 days, so that help a little bit. Back to it tomorrow, 10 days until my holidays!!!

I'm jetting off to Turkey in 7 days Shock, perhaps I should be putting more effort into shredding. Will have breakfast in the morning, allow 1/2 hour for it to go down and then shred.

What size weights do you need for the shred? I've just done level one with tins of beans.

Cant say they tested my arm muscles much.

Evening!

Just a quicky to say back seems to have clicked back into place Hmm so I pushed on and did a 20 min HIIT with trainers and all seems fine, fingers crossed...

Made a compromise with myself that I would do HIITs with trainers and other stuff without until I get more comfortable wearing them, seems like a good middle ground!

Off to watch the sailing in Weymouth tomorrow so rest day for me, will check in on Monday.

Achey all over, I was doing it right after all, bum a bit sore too.

DH thinks he has some weights light enough for me so that's some money saved. I'm going to do it today, DH has promised not to laugh. He will!.

I've just ordered 6 week 6 pack, i'm currently on level 1 of 30DS. I'm so impatient and get disheartened if I don't see change quickly:(

I'm not over weight at 9 stone I just really want to loose my baby belly (my youngest is 4 so I think it's time). I'm on day 6 and the only change so far is that my arms feel stronger from the push ups and I don't ache the day after the workout so I must be getting stronger.

I've been trying not to eat rubbish and i'm drinking lots of water but have just got off the scales and I am now 9st 1lb apparently.

wow 9 stone would be great for me! How tall are you? I need to buy some scales to really sort myself out I suppose. I don't really want to know what I weigh though....!

I'm 5 foot 2 so quite small I suppose. I've been 9st 5lb at my heaviest and since having the DC the fat always accumulates around the stomach area. I wouldn't mind if it went to my boobs Grin
