Yes, it is cushion plumping time again Grin

Pull up your favourite chair (I'm bagging the one in the corner thanks Grin) stick your feet up and join in with the nattering.

Plenty of room for everyone Grin

FaceCrack · 16/05/2012 22:14

I keep reading the Pom poms as porn poms Grin

Fab results everyone! Well done.

grinningbee · 16/05/2012 22:23

Arf at porn poms!

I'd wave pom bears but I don't go food shopping again until Friday Grin

I NEED a good result next week, as the following week I'm away. The holiday could be quite "trying" and I must not resort to chocolate!

Might pack some alpen bars as I love those in the evening.

LakeFlyPie · 16/05/2012 22:27

Wow, good list everyone Smile

Thanks for the list, pompom waving and stickers Bee and thanks too for the menu suggestions. Funnily enough I didn't go for any of your suggestions!

Feeling loads better although bit headachey, do suspect that's probably due to not having any coffee today Blush

Need to do some serious menu planning tomorrow as seem to have so much food in the house and hate wasting / throwing it away.
Took delivery of a veg box today and am unreasonably excited at the prospect of asparagus dipped into soft boiled eggs tomorrow.

Food today ended up as:
BF/L: Muesli (HEb) + FF yog, 2 slices hobbit toast + marmalade (8 syns)
D: Chilli (HEb) + rice + mango chutney (2 syns)
S: Flapjack (6) Muller yog

kid · 16/05/2012 22:41

I've planned my lunch for tomorrow but haven't actually got round to making it. I have cooked the chicken so will just put it together in the morning. Need to boil a couple of eggs too but that shouldn't take me too long in the morning.

Someone at work was talking to me about running in the mornings. I wonder if I could convince my dog to run -not too fast- with me in the mornings? Probably not is my guess!

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 17/05/2012 07:21

Well done lake impressive loss! and well done to all the others, some great losses and pleanty of sparkly stickers and pom pom waving, very good for boosting morale.

kid i have been running a couple of times in the past week with a freind from work and have to be up and out the door for 6am inorder to be back before dh goes to work at 6.45am, this morning i really stuggled to get up and felt sick and headachy so im not sure the early mornings agree with me, will try to go out on the evening with her next time. Think it depends on how you are that early in the day.

B - wheat a bix banana and honey HB and 2 syns for milk and 1 syn for honey
L - roast veg cous cous with feta HA
D - think SW sweet and sour with rice

i have been trying to to red or green days but i think i will stick with ee this week and see if i can boost my loss.

grinningbee · 17/05/2012 07:57

Morning all!

Kid Does your dog like early mornings? Or prefer laying on people? Grin

I am without a car today, and we're going to the other side of the village later for the dc to play at a friends house. All very well, but with this lurgy I am so wheezy and have the strength of a wilted lettuce leaf. I shall be making sure I have my inhalers. Still, walking is good for weight loss especially pushing the weight that ds is now. Doubly so if dd decides to climb under into the shopping basket (oh yes, she can fit!).

I have no appetite really, but my food for the day will be:

Ready brek, 1 x ryvita with 1 tsp jam (0.5 syn), banana
Omelette or savoury rice, yogurt and an apple
Quorn fillet (chilli and lime) with veggies and oven chips (5.5 syns)
2 x alpen lights later

OP posts:
grinningbee · 17/05/2012 12:37

Is it the morning after the night before everyone?

OP posts:
kid · 17/05/2012 13:14

bee, my dog is a Springer spaniel so has lots of energy. He is happy to be wherever I am whether that be in bed, at the park or even in the bath!

Lunch was delicious, creamy chicken, celery and apple salad.

LakeFlyPie · 17/05/2012 13:28

Afternoon Smile

Enjoying an enforced day off work (48 hour D+V rule) DC are at nursery and I feel pretty much recovered so am really enjoying some quiet pottering.
Need to get off MN and set about my jobs really.

Think I'm going to go for an EE day today. I never quite feel that I've got my head around it but here goes (any constructive criticism of my EE technique is v welcome):

BF: Berries, FF yog, 1 hobbit toast + marmalade (1/2 HEb + 2 syns)
L: Tuna + sweetcorn mayo salad, apricot (2.5 syns for mayo)
D: Chicken, red onion + pepper cous cous + salad
S: Fruit, Muller yog + Alpen light bar (other 1/2 HEb)
Milk in coffee (HEa)

Right off to plant up some tubs Smile

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 17/05/2012 13:58

lake enjoy your day off, it will help you get back to normal for going back to work, and your ee day looks lovely, never think to split the he! Might do that tomorrow.

bee carefull you dont give yourself a black eye with that streaking! Wink

Well i was about to prep some sw chips to accomany my sweet and sour but as im also having rice im am not going to bother but will do a steam fresh veg instead!

im also going to buy the ingredients for the sw brownies and see if i have more success than the cakes.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 17/05/2012 14:17

All these menus look lovely!!

Am filling out an SAS log this week as I've been a bit disappointed at only losing half lb the past 2 weeks. Hopefully this will open my eyes to some wee thing I'm not picking up on!!

Food today is all planned and sticking to
B: blueberries and grapes with raspberry ff yog.
Morning snack: satsuma
L: left over sw chilli from last night with rice and heaps of veg followed by melon
D: sw chips, sausages (1syn for 2) beans followed by fruit of some sort.

HeB; 2 Hifi lights
Syns: maybe a bag of whisps @ 4 syns.

SlinkyB · 17/05/2012 16:27

What are whisps FHF?

Well done everyone on an amazing list!

Am broken. Trapped nerve in my neck/shoulder, and feel very sick Sad. So yet another day off sick for me, eek. MiL has ds so I can feel very sorry for myself rest.

Speaking of rest, hope Huffpot is OK after her surgery (thinking of ya).

bee what crap house news! I'm sure you're at the end of your tether with it all Angry.

kid · 17/05/2012 16:37

Ouch slinky, sounds painful. Hope it eases soon.

I do hope Huff's op went ahead as she was worried about her bad back delaying it I think (if I read previous posts properly when skim reading)
If it did, I hope she is recovering well.

I've got a busy night ahead of me, make that 2 busy nights but I'm sure I'll still fit in some laptop time Smile

grinningbee · 17/05/2012 16:47

Slinky Get well soon buddy! I reckon she's been throwing back shots too fast Wink

Huff I hope you're rid of that pesky cyst and recovering well too Smile

As for the streaking, I was just in a silly mood (I know, what a novelty). Just trying to cheer myself up.

Off out shortly for the Thursday trip to the pub where I will mind the dc and drink diet coke while someone else downs beer and talks to his mates. Wooflaminghoo. Can you tell I'm excited? Ah well, we have fun running laps around the pool table.

OP posts:
FairhairedandFrustrated · 17/05/2012 18:07

Am jealous of a Thursday night pub routine!!

Where we live, in the middle of nowhere, there isn't a pub within walking distance!!

Whisps are a brand of Tayto crisps, baked instead of fried and they're very tasty :)

Sausages that I had planned for dinner have been swapped for sw burgers, using no syns :)

Dh is working til 9pm and I find that challenging... I'm such a lightweight not even as if our children are babies!!

Have lunch out tomorrow with colleague but place we're going serves delish baked pots!!

kid · 17/05/2012 18:35

I have a pub at both ends of my road, not that we ever go there though.

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 17/05/2012 19:01

Oh i would love a thursday pub routine! Apart from i would leave kids at home and have a vino!

Huff hope all went well with the op, and your back to your self soon.

Slinky i bet bee is right and its a shots related incident! Grin

Well SW sweet and sour was delish and even dh agree'ed so will def make it again.

kid · 17/05/2012 19:05

DH and DC really enjoyed the sweet chilli chicken, I did too so thats a first for us all to like the same meal.

Not sure if its the same recipe others have mentioned. For the sauce, I used soy sauce, garlic, harissa powder and sweet chilli sauce. I made chips for everyone else and I had baby spinach leaves with mine.

SlinkyB · 17/05/2012 19:22

Mmm, Taytos, yum! Fond memories of childhood family holidays in Ireland Smile. And now I want sweet Chilli chicken and chips, but still feel sick so won't be having anything. Have only had two cups of tea and four slices of toast all day (should help me get back to target, but would rather be happy and healthy).

I swear the injury isn't alcohol-related! But love how you've clearly all got the measure of me Wink.

Wonder how Pixi is doing too? If you're lurking then come say "hi" ol' bean.

Off to muster some energy for a shower and hair wash, as really need to go back to work tomorrow. Hope pub was okay bee.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 17/05/2012 20:56

Where's Ria????

Haven't seen her in ages x
