Yes, it is cushion plumping time again Grin

Pull up your favourite chair (I'm bagging the one in the corner thanks Grin) stick your feet up and join in with the nattering.

Plenty of room for everyone Grin

Wow Choc that is amazing

Huffpot · 01/07/2012 20:08

Congrats for your DD Choc

What a great achievement!

Well done on the running and the bootcamp

And FHF good going on shred

I haven't shredded for a few days....I have a suspicion I might have a prolapse as after my last shred I noticed a huge lump coming out from inside me. I was in a tizz and it subsided down but is still there so am seeing my doc on Thursday. Just my bloody luck and I'm very grumpy.
I noticed something months ago and on a visit to the gynaecologist about the cyst I asked and she begrudgingly checked and said it was fine but its given me a fright this time.

So until Thursday I'm putting down my weights!

I really don't think this country likes me sulk

So am going to have to climb onto the wagon and latch the door tight to keep losing weight without strenuous exercise

B: 2 bananas and then a cafe breakfast after mass but I had a 2 egg omlette with mushroom, beans and salad so hopefully not too bad!
L: Mugshot as breakfast was about 10.30ish
D: baked bean lasagne and salad
Syns: Options and a kit kat

FairhairedandFrustrated · 01/07/2012 20:32

well done chocgirl's dd!!! What a little star :)

FC well done on that run, I must have missed the time in your previous post - I've only ever did the RFL once and it almost killed me :)

Dig deep huff and go back to the goals you set for yourself -are you on track? are you happy with the progress you're making? If no, can you pinpoint what's going wrong and think of how you can change it?

FairhairedandFrustrated · 01/07/2012 20:35

ps: I hope it's not a prolapse, that's very worrying. If it's any consolation, I often pee myself leak a little bit when doing the jumping jacks, but know my pelvic floor is total crap due to lack of exercises after each child!!

What will a doctor do about prolapse?

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 20:36

Ek huff have you, erm, had a feel? I'm having a few urogynae probs (bit of stress incontinence) and you've reminded me to pop to the GP. Try not to worry about it. Welcome back on the wagon.

I haven't had a very good afternoon after my run. Shared a piece of carrot cake with my sister and DD. I had an awful afternoon/evening with DD who is teething and miserable. I didn't get her down till late so dinner was 1/2 garlic bread and some pesto pasta. I've plugged in what I have eaten to my fitness pal and I'm just under calories. Let's hope I haven't done too much damage. I'm just so tired.

Well done chocolate's DD. Good for her!

SlinkyB · 01/07/2012 21:29

Wow, well done choc's DD for getting a black belt today! And at such a young age too, fantastic.

Welcome back huff, sorry to hear of more health worries Sad Will keep everything crossed for you for Thursday. Speaking of smears, I had mine a couple of weeks ago and got the letter last week to say everything was ok, and I don't have to go back for three years now. It had been annual for the past three, as have had borderline changes/colposcopy before. They're so important to have regularly, I can't believe some people (like my SIL) don't go as they don't like it Angry

face that's still good going time-wise isn't it?? Sorry to hear you've had a bad afternoon and that dd is still mizz. Indulging in a little medicinal wine tonight are we? Or an early night? I won't be long.

Oh, when we were at boot camp this am, we had to do these bouncy two-legged jump things. One of the ladies kinda went "ooooooh, that was no good on my pelvic floor!!" and we all giggled. Then she looked worried and our instructor actually took her off for a pee in the bushes! Grin

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 21:48

Yep my smear is due soon, must book it. They are so important. Glad all is clear!
It's those sodding incisors. They are taking an age to come through and are really pissing her off. I could do no right today until I gave her carrot cake

I didn't have much problem with my pelvic floor until recently but have noticed a bit more urgency. When I had my cough, I had a bit of stress incontinence. Maybe the running is putting pressure on me slack undercarriage? Grin

FairhairedandFrustrated · 01/07/2012 22:23

who thinks I could get up early in the morning and do shred before work?

I have a meeting right after work and won't be home until after 9pm and by then I could very well think oh stuff it!

SlinkyB · 01/07/2012 22:51

Do it!! Although think you are allowed one day off here and there? I always needed a shower after, so you're probably best off doing it first thing.

Lol at 'slack undercarriage' face, what a delightful term! Maybe this is a timely reminder to us all to "squeeze and hold" a few times a day Grin I had quite bad stress incontinence when pg, thought it'd never get better but it did go thank goodness.

Have found ds quite difficult at times this weekend; he's becoming rather willful and defiant (and cheeky!). Not to mention demanding. He used to point and whinge for stuff, now he screams Hmm Plus he used to play by himself for a few mins, but now he wants our full attention 98% of the time. Guess it's all part of him growing into a proper toddler, learning to communicate etc, but it's bloody stressful for us esp with no wine. So basically you have my sympathies face Thanks

SlimJimBra · 02/07/2012 07:43

Morning all :)
Well done to choc's DD and Slinky - wow to that boot camp, that sounds pretty hardcore!
Had a very naughty weekend and unlike the rest of you I haven't even got my shred DVD out of the wrapper. Was going to allow myself a day off after wi last week but that has extended to a whole week Blush

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 02/07/2012 07:53

Choc - well done to your dd, that's a fab achievement.

Been no good yest and no exercise either! Shoot me now please.

Today I plan on having

B - toast , quorn sausage and beans
L - gonna try a smash pizza I think
D - something light and portable as big lunch and at work.

I will stick to plan.........

Famous last words, must stop not posting when bad as too embarrassed to admit crap consumption.

FaceCrack · 02/07/2012 08:12

Grin I thought it summed things up quite nicely slinky. Eek I guess the baby bit was te easy part! This is one of the many reason I like being pals with you - it gives me an inkling of what is to come Wink. Hope you aren't too stiff today.

fh&f have you shredded? Good on you!

madeinscotland just post on here, promise we won't turn into a nest of vipers if you have fallen off plan. In fact, we are quite used to it!

Food today:
B: weetabix (heb) and skim milk (HEA) strawberries
L: analysis harriot Thai cous cous (1/2 syn IiRC), salad
D: Cypriot chicken with roast veg
Snacks: ML yog and fruit

Huffpot · 02/07/2012 08:55

Morning all!

Erm yes Face I had a quick feel and it was quite firm and just freaked me out.
Still doc on Thursday so not going to worry until then!

Love the "loose undercarriage" too....bloody babies and child birth

FHF even though it's slow I'm really happy with the way my weight is going down so am just going to focus again on that I think and all the other incidental exercise like walking I do will help I'm sure.

Off to another bloody hospital today to see the orthopedic surgeon about my feet...its decision day but on a plus I'm leaving the toddling terrors home and going on my own (not leaving them on THEIR own though ;) )
Am techically leaving them with their daddy who's working from home today but it will be the withered mother in law who gets most of the work and that won't hurt her a bit. There'll be no 'helpful yet judgemental of me' housework done today!

Food today
B: Porridge with a splash of milk (made with water) and strawberries
L: Will probably be fruit as I'll be in transit
D: Chicken marinated in soy sauce and garlic with vegies and boiled spuds I think
S: WW yoghurt and fruit. Not sure what the syns will be used on today...wait and see!

P.S Welcome back MadeInScotland....I get guilty when I've been bad as well!

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 02/07/2012 09:56

Thanks face, I just need to get a grip as I was doing well! Had a lovely weight loss related compliment from sil this morning so it gave me a boost.

Good luck at the hosp huff and the docs on Thursday, I'm also not you hot in the pelvic floor department!

Have had porridge for breakfast made with water, with banana honey and a splash of milk.

I also shredded (yay) but had to do it whilst looking after my poorly boy who is off school with a wee sick bug.

Huffpot · 02/07/2012 15:46

Well done on the compliment MadeinScotland!

I think all young girls should be taught how to do pelvic floor exercises because I for one am useless at them! Never know if I'm squeezing the right bits unless I'm weeing and apparently you shouldn't do them and wee too often

Hospital went well - as I have more good days than bad with the pain he's not going to operate. He recommended going to the MBT shoe shop in Stratford Westfield to see if they have any shoes that might help.

Am stocking up on fruit tomorrow and tins of tomatoes at Poundland (12 tins for £3)

Had leftover baked bean lasagne foe lunch and had a small skinny latte while I was out as I had no toddling terrors to attack it

Off to start dinner now

SlimJimBra · 02/07/2012 18:11

Glad the hospital went well huff, had to laugh at you enjoying a latte in peace - what bliss I'm Envy of you! Funny the things we miss when constantly attended by little people
I have discovered ryevita minis yum yum Grin (and a heB)

FairhairedandFrustrated · 02/07/2012 20:15

Yes!! I shredded :) thank god I did as I'm just in the door and famished!!

Food ok today, bfast was fruit, lunch was a chicken salad and dinner was bacon, poached eggs and 2 nimble toasted - syns was flora

my sis is older than me, she's very fit and a slim size 8. She's very competitive and teaches aerobics, she exercises every day, runs cycles etc.... Makes me feel like a lazy tramp basically. Anyway, dh was teasing me about shred when they were in over the weekend and she asked me about it, I kind of ignored her and continued talking to her husband...
Anyway she text me this morning, " I ordered that DVD you were boasting about, looks good, but level one will probably be too easy for me" am a bit gutted annoyed at her. It's MY thing, nothing to do with her. When she has forced me to do exercise with her she's so hardcore it scares me and I give up.

FaceCrack · 02/07/2012 21:35

Well done fh&f with more shred! Wow. Are you the next Gillian?! Ignore your sister.

I've been pretty bloody good today, I must say. No exercise though.we are watching Sherlock Holmes, considering some popcorn but might make do with a hot choc.

What's everyone up to tonight?

FaceCrack · 02/07/2012 21:54

Forgot to say huffpot glad appointment went well. Ive heard good things about MBTs, pricey though.

Hedgepig · 02/07/2012 22:18

Flops I'm just back from my exercise class and I will be surprised if I can walk in the morning my legs are very achey already.

Just had a delicious tea, spinach omlette topped with fried garlic mushrooms mixed with a bit of natural yogurt and salad and a baked potato. I have done well today (1st time in a week), I just need to go to bed now before I start eating cake .

Huff hopefully you can get some shoes to help, my arches have collapsed so I need a good arch support or I get loads of pain (no pointy fashion shoes for me)

FairhairedandFrustrated · 02/07/2012 22:51

Well done H!!! Had to lol @ going to bed before you eat cake! I had a bag of crisps there at 5.5syns do still within my daily allowance even with the flora.

Am hoping to get up on morning again, though found it a struggle to do on an empty stomach and I definitely won't be up on time to have a breakfast then shred before taking kids to childminder!

Hoping for a loss this week, but have to say am feeling positive anyway so even if no loss, I know I feel better.

Had planned on an early night tonight, huh!! Haven't been asleep before midnight since dd was born (10.6 yrs ago!!!)

FaceCrack · 03/07/2012 10:01

Well done hedge, that does sound like a delish dinner. How are your legs today?

fairhair did you shred this morning? Shock

Dd still very up and down. She's enjoying Mr tumble now so I've got a bit if piece and quiet. This weather doesn't help, I can't just chuck her into the garden!

Planning a run tonight, it might have to be on the treadmill as its so wet.
B: fruit and ff yog
L: smoked salmon frittata with salad
D: quorn sausage and bean casserole or maybe vegetable risotto if I can get hold of quark today.

Chocolategirl3 · 03/07/2012 12:31

Had bad news at work yesterday re job evaluation outcome and smashed open one of the easter eggs that were in the work fridge and refused to share

However after that I kept within the boundaries and will do today and tomorrow, not really expecting a loss this week but hey I have been surprised in the past.

Huff glad hospital went ok, did MIL do some judgemental housework or was she too busy with your little darhlings?

FHF your sis sounds very competitive dont let her put you down in the slightest Smile

Can I just ask, on extra easy can you have as many SW wedges as you like as long as a third of the plate is super speedy? as I used 2 baking potatoes last night to make the wedges and thought it may be a bit greedy?

Same for when I make chips I dont just use one large potato...am I using too much potato?

PS thanks for all your lovely comments re DD she is bursting with pride

FaceCrack · 03/07/2012 13:02

Oh no chocolate sorry to hear that, hope you are OK.

That sounds alright about the wedges to me. As long as you only eat till you are full and no more.

I have a question. Am I better making today a green day? I had fruit for breakfast, smoked salmon frittata and salad for lunch. Then veg risotto for dinner with quark and parmasan. Do I get 2x HEA and 2 x Heb?

Chocolategirl3 · 03/07/2012 14:02

Should all turn out alright in the end....fingers crossed.

And yes if you are doing a green day then by all means have 2 HE a & b xx
