Yes, it is cushion plumping time again Grin

Pull up your favourite chair (I'm bagging the one in the corner thanks Grin) stick your feet up and join in with the nattering.

Plenty of room for everyone Grin

Right line drawn.

It has felt sooooo good to get where I am, I just dont understand myself, I will put it down to my ankle injury, DD being away with school and PMT.

DD back now, ankle on the mend and PMT is what it is, no change there.

B- 3 polo mints (complete bed hoggerthis morning then had to be out with DD so no breakfast)
L - Pitta with ham salad and salad cream followed by mini milk
D - Probably either SW chips or wedges with mexican spice and green beans and peppers ( can you tell I need to go shopping)

Tomorrow I visit the parents and take cake, this week they will be having strawberrys sitting on a merangue covered in muller light - 2.5 syns NO PIE this week!

I am well impressed with all you shredders!!! sounds like torture, as soon as the ankle allows I will go back to the Just Dance as feeling rather sluggish xx

FairhairedandFrustrated · 30/06/2012 20:29

Day 3 shred done!

Dinner was 2 chicken fillets butterflied and cooked on the griddle pan with fry light and heaps of salad.

Syns have been used for fruit pastilles! Am saving some for a few crisps or chocolate later, Saturday night treat after all!!

Also have strawberries and melon chopped up so may melt some chocolate and dip!!!

SlinkyB · 30/06/2012 22:22

Well done on shredding fhf, keep up the good work! And well done for the line drawing choc, how's the ankle healing? Did DD enjoy her trip?

Bit of a nothing day here, but my shoulders and buttocks ache from the workout last night (push ups and squats to blame I think).

Was faaaairly good diet-wise:

B: 2 x Weetabix, banana
S: Berries and yoghurt
L: brown pasta with home-made tomato-based sauce, warm small white roll (with butter, yum!)
S: Digestive, apricot, cereal bar, grapes and a handful of Maltesers
D: Chicken tikka wraps (prob lots of syns, whoops).

Hmm, doesn't look so good now Hmm.

Early night for me, am fore-going my usual Sunday morning lie-in for my next boot camp workout

Hope you're all having a great Sat night.

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 07:47

Are you stiff today fh&f?
choc did dd have fun?

slinky glad to see the no junk food rule is going well Wink. I also succumbed to chocolate and wine last night - bloody period pains. I'm hoping to run today to compensate some of that plus Dd swimming lesson and park.

B: scrambled eggs on toast (heb)
L: jacket potato baked beans and salad
D: chicken breasts stuffed with Feta (HEA) and sundried tomatoes (2syns), asparagus and roast tomatoes.

Have a good day all.

Hedgepig · 01/07/2012 08:34

Morning , can I come to dinner SlinkyB wraps sound nice.

I'm aching every where and all is did was help set up the school fete and man the cake stall (that was a bad idea , I'm drawing one if those lines under yesterday). This re starting the diet is not going well, where has all my determination gone? Even DH has noticed I've put weight on , and it takes a lot for him to notice that sort of thing.

I'm off for a cycle in a bit, enjoy your runs and boot camps ladies

SlinkyB · 01/07/2012 08:40

My AF also arrived yesterday, hence no will power with the chocolate (hey, who am I kidding, like that's an excuse). I have a giant bag of Maltesers OPEN in the fridge, so one giant little handful is a triumph for me on a Sat night!

PLUS I've had no booze all weekend so far, yay me.

Oh, I ache more today than yesterday,.and gotta leave in an hour or so for Part 2. Forgot to say, the lady doesn't shout or anything, she's very lovely and smiley (but authoritative at same time). I don't respond well to people barking orders at me, main reason I joined up is cos I know her from Zumba and like her.

Ooh, scrambled eggs on toast for brekkie, good shout, will make a nice a change.

Chocolategirl3 · 01/07/2012 08:54

Hi guys DD had a wonderful time, she didnt get home till 11pm Friday and had a 4 hour Karate training session yesterday and has just set off for another 1 and half hours training before being graded for her black belt which is another 1 half hours!!! crossing everything I have for her.

The ankle is a delightful array of colours, the bruising started to come up last Sunday when a lot of the swelling had gone down, its still swollen on the left hand side but it is diminishing, still painful though i am driving and walking better now, I may actually get out the spare room tonight and back into my own bed!!! read on line that it can take up to a year to heal!!! I bloody hope not!

Off to have breakfast - ff yogurt, strawberrys & boiled egg
Lunch same as yesterday - ham salad pitta
Dinner - going shopping before i commit

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 09:02

Glad ankle is settling down choc. Sounds like she had an amazing time, lucky thing!

slinky I'd prefer a fit handsome marine style guy screaming at me Grin. Something nice to look at always helps. I'm impressed with no wine and only a few maktesers Grin.

hedge you know what you have got to do! Draw that line! Enjoy your bike ride, you taking the kids?

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 09:02

Oh and fingers crossed for choc daughter! Good luck.

Hedgepig · 01/07/2012 09:18

Cripes not taking the kids cycling face I want to do more than a mile and raise my heart rate! Cycling with my DS1 involved stopping every 100 yards for an itch, snack etc, random speeds and sudden stopping Grin

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 09:39

I did wonder! Grin

FairhairedandFrustrated · 01/07/2012 10:43

Choc I must have missed what happened to your ankle!! Sounds pretty grim anyway :(

Well done (can't remember who now) on the malteser avoidance - them and minstrels are my VERY favourite chocolate/sweet type thing!!

Had an early night last night as dh had to leave for work @ 6.30am. The Irish Oprn Golf Tournament is being held quite close to us here, and he was on duty!! Thankfully he's due home around lunch time so he can cook Grin

Breakfast: strawberries and melon with ff yog and maybe 2 nimble.
Lunch: roast chicken, veg and new potatoes (weighed and measured (heB)

SlinkyB · 01/07/2012 11:39

Sorry hedge must've missed your post earlier, the wraps were okay (Sharwoods pack, they were giving them away at Asda, dp reckoned they tasted nice cos they were free!). Reckon the seasoning mix thing was very salty, as was really thirsty last night.

Your description of a bike ride with ds1 made me smile! Did you go out? Get caught in the rain?

Boot Camp in the park was fun, but hard. Have you ever tried running backwards?! Tis most odd. Did some skipping, lots of hopping, jumping tigger-like (so was thinking of bee as she always uses that expression!) some sprinting, and push ups for 1hr 10 mins in total Shock My face looks like corned beef now, always does after proper exercise, that's why I wore a cap and dark glasses this am Grin

SlinkyB · 01/07/2012 11:52

Oh, just being nosey, what does your dh do fhf?

Also, does anyone else use a tablet/gadget to type posts on? Now, when I press the * key on the BB Playbook, it automatically brings up the options of 'kid face bee fhf choc' to press!! Spending too much time on here? Moi? Wink

Hedgepig · 01/07/2012 12:08

My phone does that slinky but not the iPad. You clas ounds a bit like the thing I do on Mondays I love excercising out side it's just the bees knees

I did 20 miles, not so bad but I have no energy at all, I'm not sure how to balance dieting with Excercise so I have enough energy to actually do something .

FairhairedandFrustrated · 01/07/2012 12:36

Where is Bee at these days? I've missed her... and a few other faces, Ria springs to mind and csws?

I have to say I'm a bit worried that i'll gain this week. I know I've been good food wise, but I started exercising after doing none whatsoever, and although everyone says I will lose inches on shred, I'd rather lose lbs :) Especially when the holiday is so close now!

Slinky, he works for a public transport company and was on duty to ensure travel to the events ran smoothly! He's home now and mending the shower... Hmm

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 12:37

Lot of complex carbs hedge - brown pasta / rice! 20miles is a long way, impressed.

slinks wowser that sounds like hard work. Grin

bee where are you? We miss you! Same to ria debka pimps c4ro alpine pixie csws dot and anyone else out there

Just waiting for my sister who is coming running with me. Her fella is going to sit and baby sit DD, bless.

Food has changed - breakfast was fruit an ff yog, snack was an alpen light bar (1/2 heb) and I will decide on lunch when I get back.

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 12:38

Ooh cross post with fh&f....great minds think alike!

Hedgepig · 01/07/2012 13:17

I see from FB Bee has moved house now do hopefully she will be back soon. Maybe I should have had pasta for breakfast rather than weetabix

FairhairedandFrustrated · 01/07/2012 14:29

wow 20 miles!! I wish I could get into the running!! Am currently trying to download the c25k app on my i-pod.

Day 4 shred -DONE Grin am surprising myself at how much easier it is getting each day!! Have cast an eye over the Level 2 and it looks a bit harder!!

Food going good!!

Breakfast was melon, strawberries and ff blueberry yog
snack after workout was 2 boiled eggs and 2 nimble (HEB)
Dinner this eve is roast chicken and baby boils (HEB) with heaps of veg! (though I sort of prefer the chicken salad I had yesterday!!)

Re DOD FB page, how can I upload before/after pics there without friends seeing them? I can email them to someone more techi friendly than me if that would help.... :) Trying to keep myself motivated!!

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 14:35

It's a secret group so no one can see! So download away!

C25k is fab - I've just ran for 25 min non stop! Can't believe it. Dead pleased and race for life is in 2 weeks so I am getting there!

Your dinner sounds nice. I'm doing Jamie Oliver's Cypriot chicken - its so good. Will post the recipe later if people fancy it.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 01/07/2012 17:05

If I put the pics on there will they not end up on my own FB page though? Will log on and try to work it out.

Dinner was lovely, boiled babypotatoes doen with fry light, rosemary & garlic and popped into the oven!

Having eton mess type thing for dessert.

SlinkyB · 01/07/2012 18:15

Your dinners all sound lovely, what's in Cypriot chicken face? Flipping heck, running for 25 mins is amazing! You'll speed round the R4L track in no time!

Am hoping to pick up a bike on Weds hedge, will have to work my way up to 20 miles though! Bet you'll be sore tomorrow.

Don't worry fhf, nothing you post or upload to the secret fb group, that's the beauty of it! Look forward to your before and after pics Smile

Had usual roast round PiLs today, followed by sponge and custard, and have had a few more Maltesers too, whoops. Gonna gradually work my way up to this no junk thing I think Grin

FaceCrack · 01/07/2012 18:27

fh&f if you add a photo directly to the group it won't show.

It wasn't that fast slinky I did 4k in 35 min (5 min walk warm up, 25 min run,5 min walk cool down). Still I've got 2 weeks to go, I'm going to increase the run to 27 min on Tuesday.

Right got to sort out the baby...I'll be back!

Chocolategirl3 · 01/07/2012 19:12

She did it the gorgeous little STAR....My DD (12) is a black belt whoooo hooooo xxxxx
