Yes, it is cushion plumping time again Grin

Pull up your favourite chair (I'm bagging the one in the corner thanks Grin) stick your feet up and join in with the nattering.

Plenty of room for everyone Grin

Oh wow, you really are an inspiration SlimJimBra (love the new name btw). Will have everything crossed for you tonight that you hit target. I remember vividly shopping for jeans last year when I was almost at target, was happy to pick up some size 14's to try on. Was like Shock Shock when I had to ask the lady to please get a size 12 in one pair! I was so excited I started rabbiting on to her that I'd thought I'd never be a size 12 again Blush as it'd been about 10 years. Makes all the junk-avoiding well worth it doesn't it? One of the best feelings in the world I reckon!

Lol at "posh" Crackers, no chance of that. The champagne was the only alcohol in the house; got a couple of bottles left over from the housewarming and decided we'd crack one open to celebrate...ummm....well, just being healthy and happy really! I was on a bit of a high after my sunny evening jog, and it's dp's birthday tomorrow, do those excuses reasons stand up do you think?! Ds scuppered any plans for any "body conditioning" though; he kept waking up and wanting cuddles every 10-20 mins up until midnight, so unlike him, don't know what was up Confused

I'm off shopping this am for dp's birthday presents, card and cake. Feel bad for falling off wagon yesterday so am back being good again today (for now!).

Oh, thought I'd share a little tip to liven up some broccoli and carrots. We had steak and mash with them last night, and after boiling and draining the veg, I chucked in some soy sauce and chilli flakes, they were yummy!

Hope you're ok choc Am sure DD will have a brilliant time! And you'll get to give her cuddles and hear all her adventures before you know it Smile

FaceCrack · 26/06/2012 09:42

Yep another one here pleased to get into size 12s again. I've got a spare tyre round my middle but my legs are much slimmer, hence the size 12s.

I don't blame you for opening fizz - you don't need an excuse I reckon! We haven't got very far today. Dd is content watching cbeebies so that's fine. I can crack on with housework.

My legs aren't sore at all, I'm surprised. Wonder if I could squeeze in another run tonight? Hmmmm.

FaceCrack · 26/06/2012 09:43

Dd was up last night too, slinky. No idea why. Teeth?

Chocolategirl3 · 26/06/2012 10:12

Thanks for your hand holding ladies, hugely appreciated, may take the time to sort her room out which in turn will burn some calories off as its a mess! And I shall not comfort eat.

Bra you were the same start weight as me, I started March so am 2 months behind you, getting into a size 10 would be amazing, you have inspired me even more to get there xx

kid · 26/06/2012 12:38

Hope you don't miss her too much choc. I'd dread my dd going away without me, especially abroad. She did go to bristol for the weekend with school and that was fine.

They learn a lot from going on school journeys, its a shame if parents don't let them go due to there own fears. Please remind me of that little speech when my dd brings home a consent form for trip abroad.

SlinkyB · 26/06/2012 12:41

Choc and bra you'll have to join our fb group and post some before and after photos!

I'm putting it down to teeth too face, so unlike him to be awake in the night. I finally decided to go downstairs and get a syringe of ibuprofen for him, along with a beaker of water, at about midnight. Guess what? By the time I'd come back upstairs he'd gone back to sleep and slept through til 7am, typical! I think if he's a bit cranky tonight before bed I'll dose him up and see if that helps. I was actually secretly enjoying the sleepy cuddles he was giving me Grin and he was still smiling away

I'm planning another run Thursday night, am a little hungover today so think I'll be having a nap this afternoon when ds has his, bliss.

SlinkyB · 26/06/2012 12:43

P.S must've burnt some serious calories zooming round the shops for 2.5hrs this am!! Got everything I needed for dp's birthday tomorrow, and more. And a chocolate birthday cake for tomorrow evening, which serves 10, but there are 11 of us including ds. Maybe we'll share a slice Grin

FaceCrack · 26/06/2012 12:46

What did you get him then? Arf at hangover, why do they pick sleepless nights when you've had a few? Very clever our toddlers Wink.

I agree with kid, it's good for them. I say this safe in the knowledge that DD is 15 months and won't be going for a long time!

Inlaws arrive tomorrow...house is sparkling!

SlinkyB · 26/06/2012 13:44

Envy at sparkling house, I only ever seem to have enough energy to go shopping or do the cleaning Hmm So we either have full cupboards or a clean house, ha ha. I've got three loads worth of ironing to do tonight, joy (that'll be the bags of clothes I re-found last week then, all needed freshening up).

Umm, got dp some aftershave, an acoustic guitar stand, "three chord tricks" book and a little digital gadget that clips on the end of the guitar to help with tuning/learning chords, as he's teaching himself to play at the mo. Hope he likes them! He's always telling me not to spend money on him, but I can't help it, he's a little diamond most of the time.

1/2 a bottle of fizz wouldn't have touched the sides when I was younger, now I feel like I've been out on the last all night, boo. Let's hope our toddlers let us sleep better tonight. How are yours huff? Still full of cold? Don't know how you cope with two!

FaceCrack · 26/06/2012 14:09

That sounds like very thoughtful presents, he will love them. I'm a complete lightweight too, don't worry about it!

It's just become rather grey here. There goes my park plans for the afternoon. My mate has cancelled too which is really annoying.

Huffpot · 26/06/2012 15:03

Howdy all...really looking forward to getting into a 12...haven't been that ever(since I was a kid!)

The teething powders seemed to ease mine as well.

Oh the boys are still snuffling everywhere and I woke up this morning with a sore throat and snuffly.

Oh I don't know how I do it somedays either! Having only 11 months between them(and 2 very active boys) makes it worse although their starting to become friends slowly!
I blow them kisses goodnight, shut their door and collapse most days!

FaceCrack · 26/06/2012 15:22

11 months! Awesome! Must keep you busy - you must naturally burn a ton of calories just chasing them round. Smile

We've just baked a cake - banana so I won't eat it!

kid · 26/06/2012 17:42

I'm still in my size 14 clothes, some are looser than others but am still not a 12. I shouldn't be surprised as I keep falling off the wagon in a big way. I am trying to be good though, but I want instant results.

I think my food is okay, but I hope someone else can have a look and give their opinion.

Yesterday:
Green day
b: 2 weetabix (HEb), milk (HEa)
l: mushroom and pasta in a creamy sauce (fromage frais and onion)
d: bubble and squeak burgers, egg, beans
2 apples, strawberries
fruit club (6 syns?)
a teeny, tiny donut ring from sainsburys (you get about 20 or so in a box)

Today:
b: 2 weetabix (HEb), milk (HEa), apple
l: chicken, celery, onion, apple, eggs, baby leaf spinach, gherkins (I followed a recipe and thats what was in it)
strawberries, apple, banana.
Small slice of homemade (by someone else) apple and cinnamon sponge cake

still to have

d- sweet and sour chicken, baby leaf spinach OR I might have the same as I had for lunch as DH likes the sound of that.

Hedgepig · 26/06/2012 20:18

. Is it list day? Are you guys still even doing the list?

Tomorrow I am restarting SW as I have put on 11 lb ( thought or was 9 but it is fecking 11 I am so cross with myself)

Bubble and squeak burgers sound yum Kid , how do you make them?

SlimJimBra · 26/06/2012 21:11

Apologies in advance for self-indulgent posting

I DID IT I GOT TO TARGET!!!!!!!

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Hedgepig · 26/06/2012 21:14

Yehhhhh well done Bra

kid · 26/06/2012 21:34

well done bra, thats great!

Bubble and squeak burgers were nice and easy, just the type of meals that I like cooking.

Ingredients:
potatoes, cabbage, spring onions, 1 egg yolk.

Peel and roughly chop some potatoes
shred some cabbage (I boiled mine but realised half way through that I didn't have to)
mash the potatoes and mix with the cabbage.

When cool, add spring onions and 1 egg yolk. Season well and chill until needed.

When needed, mould into burger shapes, place in the oven 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Serve with a fried egg on top and backed beans.

SlimJimBra · 26/06/2012 22:03

Ps welcome back hedge, we do still do the list but tomorrow is DoD, not today (slightly confusing though as my rl group is tues night so that's why I posted)

SlinkyB · 26/06/2012 22:05

CONGRATULATIONS SLIM JIM!!!! That's fantastic, you must be so proud of yourself Smile

Oh hedge at least you know what the damage is, and are still here to get shot of it again! DoD and The List are still being done every Weds so pm face tomorrow (assuming it's you doing it face?)

kid those burgers sound yum, and cheap to make too which is always good.

FaceCrack · 26/06/2012 23:33

Quick Post As back in from pub!

Well done bra. Awesome!

Yep I will do the list. So PM me up!

SlinkyB · 27/06/2012 07:37

Morning Doomers! Have actually remembered to WI before breakfast and cuppa thanks to reading this first! Good luck.

HOW'S THE HEAAD FACE?! Wink

SlimJimBra · 27/06/2012 07:42

Feeling thoroughly deflated this morning, consultant at group didn't seem at all bothered about me achieving target and didn't tell me what to do now and I'm feeling a bit lost :( Having googled (there doesnt seem to be any advice on the sw website) it seems I should up my hex's but by how much? And I have to stay within 3 lb of target or I have to pay for group again? Fh&f can you confirm this for me? It feels a bit like target members are fully expected to never be seen again :( (until they rejoin after having fallen off the wagon anyway)

SlimJimBra · 27/06/2012 07:47

D'oh! Just realised of course - as a target member I'm no longer paying therefore am no longer a source of income for consultant. No wonder she's not interested. Makes perfect (if somewhat, disappointing) sense.

FaceCrack · 27/06/2012 07:50

Aaah slimjimbra stupid consultant! We are pleased for you . Having never got to target I don't know the rules. I hope someone comes along who can help.

Yep slinky half a bottle of wine and I feel crap. However, I'm pleased with my weigh in result.

Got to go, I'm being tackled my a shouting toddler.

SlimJimBra · 27/06/2012 07:53

Aw thank face :) my toddler's still in bed but I can hear him chatting away to himself. Won't be long before he's calling "mummy mummy mummy mummy" so I'd better get showered before he does!
