Yes, it is cushion plumping time again Grin

Pull up your favourite chair (I'm bagging the one in the corner thanks Grin) stick your feet up and join in with the nattering.

Plenty of room for everyone Grin

Hugs to FHF and Bee thinking of you both x

Can I just say re diet that I am totally off track and won't be back till next week.

I have been trying since Hol but it was DD birthday yesterday so there was cake also she wanted chippy chips so as OH away I had to share with her - it would be rude and wasteful not to eat every last chip even the ones DD left - then there was more cake.

And this weekend there will be cake galore as her sleepover party is Sat and family lunch/party is Sunday. Plus there's a chocolate fountain involved :( I'm doomed aren't I?

Chocolategirl3 · 13/06/2012 09:24

I don't mind doing the list tonight xxxx

FairhairedandFrustrated · 13/06/2012 10:12

Thanks for all the thoughts. I don't have any faith in my GP at the minute as she's never there. The locum I saw put me on antid's and then my usual one took me off them saying it wouldn't help but counselling would, but I never made it to counselling and she never offered any suggestions as to where to look for one.

I have made an appt to see a lady who deals with Kinesiology, getting to the route of problems etc and doing what the body needs, at the minute I am willing to try anything.

I know I have gained this week too, despite getting right back on track after my weekend away - but what can I do but get weighed in and move on.

I am going to try and do more exercise this week.

Bee, why would you feel less of a woman?? That's madness, is he trying to plant seeds do you think? Have you anyone else who can have the children when you're in hospital? Just for your own peace of mind.

grinningbee · 13/06/2012 13:55

FHF So sorry you're feeling down. No suggestions, but a big squeezy hug for you.

I dunno re Thing. But my decision is the right one for me. I swear Freddy is getting bigger Hmm. As for the dc, no sadly. But I did ask him last night to make sure he just sticks around at home with them when the time comes. It won't stop the worrying though!

Better go. Ds has just thrown a handul of those small cheesy biscuits on the floor and is stamping them into the carpet. The carpet has to be pulled up next week (we have to remove EVERYTHING), but still, I don't want to be walking on crumbs for the next few days!

Well done to the others, except me who is firmly sat in the naughty corner!

bee your P has very odd ideas on things. Plus, he still needs to get these seizures sorted out. Glad the appointment was OK, hope you have chosen what you want to do rather than what someone else wants you to do. Don't worry about dieting now - you have bigger fish to fry!

Chocolategirl3 · 13/06/2012 22:31

Well done Huffpot fabulous weight loss Smile

FaceCrack · 14/06/2012 07:54

Quick post as on tube.
Out tonight with work but I've put my food into my fitness pal, inc pizza, and it still falls below calories.
B: weetabix and fruit
L: ham chickpea and cous cous salad
D: leggara pizza. Nom nom. Plus 2 white wines!

Chocolategirl3 · 14/06/2012 09:56

Signed up for another 12 weeks last night and got a free dessert book. For those who bake the SW way what artificial sweetener do you use? And do the cakes etc taste as nice as they look in the book!

grinningbee · 14/06/2012 12:18

Hello everyone!

It's all go here now. We're getting the keys later on today, and the carpet fitters called a few minutes ago and offered to do the whole house on Sunday rather than Tuesday, bless them! (And for the original fitting cost, no extra for being a Sunday!)

Turns out things aren't quite finished, but I shall do a proper investigation later Wink.

Face I did go for the option that I wanted. I'm not messing about with not having stuff removed and having lumps grow back. I want it done once and once only.

My fat arse will be firmly back in the saddle after next week.

OMG there is so much to do!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 14/06/2012 18:14

Sorry, I was out all yesterday evening and couldn't pm re list! I gained 1lb this week :( but will get over it!!

B: fruit
L: beef salad, roast beef, beets, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, sweet corn, red onion and egg
D: shepherds pie with peas. Have a large fruit salad all chopped up & waiting for a snack attack later.

Well done to all of you on those losses!! I had a weekend away and though I didn't go mad, what I did have must have caught up on me :)

I have an SAS log on the go at the minute and am hoping to get the weight shifting again somehow!!

FaceCrack · 15/06/2012 08:05

1lb isn't bad fair. I wouldn't worry about that! Wink

Busy day ahead culminating in my brother visiting for the weekend with his new girlfriend. I'm doing a tapas style dinner tonight in front of the football, I'm hoping I can stick to salad, potatoes and cold meat.
B: fruit and ff yog
L: smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast (heb) with spinach
D: cold meats, salad and potatoes.

FaceCrack · 15/06/2012 08:23

bee fab news about house, woohoo! How exciting. Squuee!

grinningbee · 15/06/2012 16:09

Face Grin It is a bit exciting Grin Have fun this weekend with your visitors. Sympathies on the football (unless you like it). I am also being subjected to it. All of it Angry.

Anyhoo. Hopefully I shall be getting some house piccies later. Going over there to hoover the floors and dump a bottle of bleach down the loo. Nuclear bomb would be a better idea, filthy builders. There was bunched up used loo roll on the actual seat! I shall be buying a new seat this weekend.

Quick M update too. The cancer has spread Sad. It's gone into her other lung now, and worse it's also in her liver. It was already in the lymph nodes and had gone up into her brain. So. No more chemo or radiotherapy, but she starts a course of tablets which I'm told are fairly new out and are pretty good at stopping the spread (everything crossed).

She obviously looked gutted, and has stopped wearing her wig too. Wish I knew what to say. However, she is booking a holiday in the sun for a fortnight and I can't say as I blame her!

OP posts:
FaceCrack · 16/06/2012 07:49

Eeek bee that's grim. Nothing a bottle of leach can't fix though. The photos look good though, completely transformed.
Sorry to hear about M, how sad. You must all be devastated. Did they give you any idea of prognosis?

We are out tonight but will just have fish / steak, pots and veg. I'm going to go for a run this morning and a long walk this afternoon to try and burn some cals.
B: fruit and ff yog
L: omelette and salad
D: as above.

Happy Saturday!
B: fruit

grinningbee · 16/06/2012 10:09

Oooh, I hadn't thought of trying leaches Grin. Bet they'd turn their nosees up too, ha ha. I nuked it last night, so hopefully it will look a lot nicer today.

Back off over there shortly to continue scrubbing. It does look better, doesn't it!

If M has a prognosis, she isn't saying just yet. I'm guessing it's going to be just managed now, would you agree?

Can't wait for this next week to be over and done, then get back to normal.

I've bought the new SW magazine ready for inspiration Smile

FairhairedandFrustrated · 16/06/2012 18:30

Oh bee, am so sorry to hear about your friend, I'm thinking of you all.

Those builders must be dirty brutes!! I'd remove any toilet paper so they've nothing to wipe their butts on - make them twice about taking a dump in your loo!!!!'

Yesterday was a disaster for me, but today has been good so far. Eating out tomorrow do will have to choose carefully then too.

Dh's gran is seriously ill in hospital, they think it's just a matter of time. I think the world of her she is just a total lady, so non-judgemental and accepting. They say she was in coma but when I went in she asked me how the kids were and asked if she could go home :(

Am saying prayers like never before, ironic, a lapsed catholic clinging onto faith xxx

kid · 16/06/2012 23:51

Sorry to hear about M Bee, it does sound like they will just make sure she is comfortable as there isn't much they can do for her. Pretty much the same as DH's uncle who is fighting cancer right to the bitter end it would seem Sad

Also sorry to hear about your DH's gran fairhaired. It's so horrible to watch other people suffering knowing there is nothing you can do to help.

DH is well and truely on the mend now. He is still coughing and being sick but so much better than 3 weeks ago much to our relief.

Wish I could say I was doing marvelously at SW but that would be a big, fat lie. I honestly haven't been near the scales and don't wish to go near them either tbh. The good thing is I need to do shopping so there is no junk food in the house to eat.

kid · 16/06/2012 23:53

We have decided to get ourselves on the property ladder. But, we have to plan it around DCs schools and exams so it won't be for a few years yet. That gives us plenty of time to do lots of research and save loads of dosh Grin
I am going to find it so hard to wait but I know its the most sensible thing to do.

FaceCrack · 18/06/2012 08:18

Morning! A very quick and very tired post from me - up with DD and DH last night, both poorly.
B: missed
L: pasta salad
D: steak sweet potato chips and roast veg

Chocolategirl3 · 18/06/2012 12:27

Morning Ladies, so sorry to hear of all the people close to you that are ill, I truly hope you all hear some positive news soon Thanks

FaceCrack · 18/06/2012 19:50

It's very quiet on here, where are you all? Grin
