Yes, it is cushion plumping time again Grin

Pull up your favourite chair (I'm bagging the one in the corner thanks Grin) stick your feet up and join in with the nattering.

Plenty of room for everyone Grin

Sorry that meant to say I'm sure I'm not pregs. I actually wouldn't mind but apparently you actually have to shag to get pregnant Grin

Hedgepig · 02/06/2012 09:24

A minor detail Face Grin

FaceCrack · 02/06/2012 10:02

Maybe is was a Freudian slip hedge. How's things? Full of Jubilation?

Huffpot · 02/06/2012 20:09

Lol Face you madw me laugh....glad its not only me who can say with certainty that I'm not either

2 small toddlers and subsequent exhaustion generally rule out that possibility!

SlinkyB · 02/06/2012 21:46

Evening all! Sorry been awol, been fairly good past few days, but healthy eating went completely out the window last weekend as was on hols in Cornwall. Still within target, just feel grim and wobbly so need to stay focused and keep exercising.

Face My AF showed up this am so feel your pain (if that's what it is,and you're not pg!). Was at a friend's bbq earlier and one of the women looked at ds and said "sooo, are you thinking of having another?" to which I replied "Erm, well, not sure really? I mean, puh, it would mean having sex again wouldn't it?!" Grin

kid Hope your dh is finally on the mend.

Welcome rus you'll shift those final pounds in no time unless you're Anything like the rest of us and prefer to take the scenic route

SlinkyB · 03/06/2012 18:40

Shock I have properly killed the thread, haven't I?! Sorry! Blush

kid · 03/06/2012 19:10

I am lurking but not doing well with SW.
DH is still very poorly so we are pretty much housebound. I am going to order some shopping so I have some healthy meals to cook.
He has been signed off work for 2 weeks and the Dr has also signed me off to care for him, makes me worried about how bad it is. No sign of improvement at all but I know its a tough one to fight. He will be fine, I know he will, just wish we could hurry his recovery along. I am worried I am going to catch it. It can be something like 14 days to start showing symptoms, so if I'm still okay in 2 weeks time, I know I avoided catching it. (DH is just coming to the end of the contagious stage now)

Anyway, hope the weather didn't ruin your days too much. We watched some of the jubilee celebrations on tv as there was no way we were going anywhere.

FaceCrack · 04/06/2012 07:37

Hols looked brilliant slinky. Did you enjoy? Was it during that hot weather?

kid poor DH. He must be exhausted. Hope he'll improve soon.

I drank too much fizz on Sat night at a christening party so spent yesterday feeling rough. Watched the parade on TV. I managed to do a Zumba class so I'm hoping it will cancel out some of the calories. Off to a fete later, wellies on I think!!
Food yesterday
B: toast (heb) butter (2 syns)
L: JP bean cheese (HEA) and salad
D: pesto (5 syns) pasta and salad

Today:
B: weetabix (heb) and fruit
L: chickens and cous cous salad
D: pork stirfry

Tomorrow my grandmother arrives - resisting all the cake she will bring is going to be hard!

SlinkyB · 04/06/2012 08:41

Yeah, long weekend in Cornwall was during the lovely weather (a bit too hot for fair-haired ds on the first day - 28 degrees!). Had a great time thanks, as went with all of dp's family who are very hands-on and helpful with ds, so really felt we got a proper break Smile

Cake resistance hasn't been my forte lately either. Too many parties and social gatherings this weekend, and zero willpower.

Hope your dh is soon better kid, how utterly miserable for you all, no wonder you've not been sw-ing

How dd Face? Forgot to say congratulations to your dh on passing his exams too - fantastic! Are you looking to move?

Where is everyone?! C'mon and de-lurk to confess your syn!

brafullofcrumbs · 04/06/2012 11:17

I'm still here lurking :)

Kid sorry to hear about dh, totally understand your fear of catching it:(

Been trying to stay on track this week despite various parties/ dinners out. Got 2 lb to go to next sticker :o

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 04/06/2012 13:03

hello all, popping in to say i have been not very good on and off for 2 weeks now, will power and motivation zero and too many nice things planned and over doing it, not even weighed in as ube ashamed of my own greediness.

I have now nipped it in the bud, im going to really try and focus on stayign on track so i can lose the last 1.5 stone i need to be happier with myself.

todays food;

B - porridge with banana ha and hb
L- Baked pot, salad chicken and feta hb and ha
D - chicken salad and reduced fat coleslaw 2syns

snacks fruit. Exercise level 1 30 day shred. Must try to get out on a run this week as not been out for 2 weeks, combo of too hot/wet/ just lazy!

Hope everyone is well and huff how is the recovery from op going? and Kid i hope you dont catch the whooping cough too, fingers crossed.

kid · 04/06/2012 13:07

I made some really tasty cakes yesterday which I now need to try and avoid eating! I did eat one this morning but to be honest, they aren't my favourite cake (no chocolate) so maybe I'll let DH and DS eat them all and save me from myself.

I did intend to be good today, but I didn't have any breakfast so I had a large bowl of shreddies for lunch. I guess that could be both of my HEb choices, thats if shreddies are a HEb.

I've got quite a lot of fruit here so can munch on that until dinner time. There are some mullers left in the fridge which are still just about in date.
Hmm, dinner is another matter as I literally have no idea whats in the freezer.
Really, really need to go shopping but DH shouldn't go out yet and he doesn't want to be home alone.

kid · 04/06/2012 13:14

Just reserved a slot for shopping to be delivered tomorrow, now to sort out a shopping list.

I'm getting through a lot of paracetamol this week, I've got a lovely headache at the moment but I think its probably slightly psychological tbh

Sorry to keep going on about DH, I'll try and stick to topic thread a bit better which might encourage me to stick to SW as I don't want too much weight to creep back on. I've not been able to go gym for a while so haven't been doing any exercise. Nothing stopping me from doing shred expect pure laziness Grin

FairhairedandFrustrated · 04/06/2012 20:49

Oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I feel like I've been AWOL for a lifetime!!

Had a gain last Tuesday but am hoping even for a maintain this week. I haven't been too bad, but meals out etc means I don't know how the food has been cooked etc!

Really had to work hard to resist temptation over the weekend and today we went to the zoo but we took a picnoc, so wasn't too bad there. Dh & the kids had ice-ceam and I didn't. They had dessert after dinner and I didn't, but my dinner wasn't what I thought it would be so used more syns that I thought. It was chilli chicken and noodles, but when it arrived the chicken was breadcrumbs, I should have asked really, but the place we usually go to have plain chicken. Anyway, it won't ruin my day/week.

HAve you all been partying hard today? Have to say in NI there's not a huge deal of fuss around the Jubilee.

FaceCrack · 05/06/2012 09:22

Hi fh&f sounds like you had a fun weekend. It's so tricky eating out, I'm sure you'll be fine.

We had a quiet day yesterday. I was so glad to see my brother otherwise I'd have barely spoken to a single adult all weekend! Today my elderly grandmother arrives for a week. It will be lovely and a nightmare in equal measures. She's very traditional in terms of food but I'm hoping I've planned well enough to maintain this week. I was up all night with DD so I'm dreading the mountain of cleaning I need to do before this afternoon.
Food today
B: fruit
L: summer watercress soup
D: beef stew, new pots, carrots and broccoli. I also need to do a pud, will pop to the supermarket and do stewed rhubarb and strawberries. Everyone else can have cream or custard, I will have fat free yog.

kid · 06/06/2012 00:07

I know its not SW related, but I just wanted to recommend a book by James Patterson called 1st To Die. It was really good and one of those books that you can't put down, well thats what I found anyway.

It could be slightly SW related as while you're reading, you can't be eating junk food Grin

brafullofcrumbs · 06/06/2012 07:25

Haha kid - I find doing my knitting whilst watching tv stops me snacking on junk food :o Glad you're able to have a bit of time to yourself at the mo

Who are we pm-ing for wi today?

FairhairedandFrustrated · 06/06/2012 07:43

DOD yet again!

Not expecting great things, but a loss of any kind will be welcome!

My pm will be lateish as I've a concert to attend with dd afterwards.

Good luck one and all :)

SlinkyB · 06/06/2012 07:59

Morning all

Did you manage to avoid cakes kid? How is dh now?

We're off to the zoo today, can't wait. Also taking a picnic (as I see you did FHF) but not sure I can sit and watch dp and ds eat ice-cream without joining in, so will just make sure I'm extra good the rest of the time. Fridge is stocked-up with SW friendly food and I'm back in the zone Smile

Just trying to get rid of all the junk in the house, cos if it isn't there, I can't eat it. All the chocolate and sweets have gone, there's no booze, and only a few bags of crisps.

Race for Life for me this Sunday, anyone else done their's yet?

Have a lovely time with your Grandmother Face

kid · 06/06/2012 08:38

I threw the last few cakes away last night, think I ate 2 or 3 in total so not too bad.
Dh is going for a blood test today as the Dr had to inform dept of health of any whooping cough cases.

Made a lovely sw dinner last night, spinach and ricotta pasta. I love it and its so easy to make. Think I'll have a green day today but will have to fill up on fruit while we're out, it might be a long morning at the hospital.

FaceCrack · 06/06/2012 09:41

Gosh is it Wednesday? It's day of doom then. Pm me and I will do the list later. I'm on my period which means a crap result!

My race for life is in July but I will go running later today, need to get practising! Enjoy your picnic slinky.

Food for me:
B: toast and marmalade (3 syns)
L: out and about, probably soup
D: steak, new pots and veg

FaceCrack · 06/06/2012 21:27

bra lost 1lb, total loss 2 stone 13 lbs

Hedgepig · 06/06/2012 22:36

Evening peeps I missed the list again! well done to the select list

I am back on the diet wagon after too much wine and too many biscuits, I have put half a stone on from my target weight. Food today started well and ended very badly as we ate very late and had sausages and toast Blush

Huffpot · 07/06/2012 09:37

Hi all...am still alive. Didn't WI last night as had a late appointment with the surgeon to get details of cyst. That all went well except my belly button is a bit infected and we have the go ahead for more babies. Although I'd like another one this has stupidly terrified me as we've never consciously thought of having a baby....our two have been happy accidents.
Eeeeeeek!

Have also had my birthday this week so haven't been 100%.
I think I need to get my head back in the right place!

My uncle died in Liverpool too so will be trying to get up there for a huge Irish funeral(family all flying in from Ireland) and parents going home next week so a bit mad here

9.30am and my 2.9year old has just woken up so best get up to him!

Hope all are well!!

Hedgepig · 07/06/2012 11:48
