I'm still doing ok. I will get more walking done when the DSs go back to school but I'm not actually missing anything yet.

OK Puds but only ONE glass!

Hopefully · 13/04/2012 22:05

Today has been atrocious food wise (Starbucks skinny latte, cinnamon bun, sweet popcorn and dark choc this evening, among other things), but went for a run this morning and did Ripped L3 this evening, so the calorie overload has been offset a little bit.

I'm steeling myself for turning down yummy treats all weekend, fingers crossed it's not as disastrous as last weekend and I don't end up working out all of next week just to end up at 141lbs on Friday morning for the fourth week in a row.

puds11 · 13/04/2012 22:23

yep mrspepperpotty its a wee bit late, although they are with soda, if thats any better

Hi. An ok day here aside from the fact I'm waiting for my curry to finish cooking and it's nearly 11pm Blush

I had a personal training session which was an hour of boxercise so great in terms of offsetting the curry. Then just as I was going to grab a shower then put the children to bed, DD2 trapped her fingers in the kitchen door. Cue a 3 hour wait in A and E Angry On the plus side I resisted the urge to go to the chocolate machine!

cbmum · 13/04/2012 23:31

hopefully MFP settings should now allow you to snoop to your hearts content!

Hopefully · 14/04/2012 07:56

cbmum well done on resisting the chocolate machine! I totally would have caved there.

Just been for a run then had really nice (and not insanely high calorie) berry maple pancakes from the Jillian Michaels cook book. I have yet to have a duff recipe from it, which impresses me. Now to steel myself for non-indulgence today and tomorrow!

DoUntoOtters · 14/04/2012 09:25

I hope you DD is ok, cbmum. And well done for resisting the chocolate machine.

Off to stock up at the supermarket in a bit. Have a good weekend everyone.

glenthebattleostrich · 14/04/2012 18:43

Well done cbmum! Hope your DD is ok.

megabored · 14/04/2012 21:59

Hope ur dd is okay cbmum and that you are having a good weekend.

DoUntoOtters · 14/04/2012 22:24

glen is your name inspired by Beast Quest, by any chance?

cbmum · 14/04/2012 22:42

Thanks ladies. DD2 is fine, albeit cranky most of today as she's been 3 hours down on sleep. Why do they ALWAYS wake up at 6am irrespective of what time they go to bed?!

An ok day here. I even fitted in attending a 4th birthday party this afternoon. My Sunday morning run awaits so that should offset some calorie imbalance earlier in the week. I've got an incredible stressful week at work ahead so if I can't get a day or so of good eating in now I'm pretty stuffed!

DoUntoOtters · 15/04/2012 08:30

Morning. Another day, another pint of hot water and lemon. I wonder if it is making any difference at all.

Very tired this morning, and I know it is going to be a struggle to avoid carbs today so I'm carefully planning exactly what I'm going to eat. If it's not down, it's not going in, sort of thing.

puds11 · 15/04/2012 09:10

Gooooooooooooooood Mooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrning!!!!!!!!!!!
How is everyone feeling this morning? Personally, i'm not great Sad
feeling very sick today monster period. How is everyone getting on? I think we should set a weigh in date to see if we are progressing.
What do you think?

Morning all,

I need a good day today after I was troughing nutella on bagels last night before bed. I did have quite a good day before that though so hopefully not too much damage.

Otters, my name comes from Big Bang Theory, it's the name of Sheldon's pet ostrich in WoW. I'm a BBT geek I'm afraid! and hands off I'm having Leonard, Sheldon and Raj, yes all 3!

Just had a nice bowl of granola, a banana and some strawberries, planning tomatoes on toast for lunch and omlette with salad for tea. Trying to keep snacks to a minimum today. Cleaing out my bedroom today for exercise, we get a new bed delivered next Saturday :)

mrspepperpotty · 15/04/2012 09:30

Hi all

Roast chicken planned for lunch today, but I will limit myself to one roast potato and a small supper later.

Puds, I usually do a Wed weigh in (gives me a couple of days to recover if I've had a bad weekend!!) - does that work for you?

DoUntoOtters · 15/04/2012 10:10

How have I missed that, glen? My three seem to have BBT on a permanent loop. Youngest is going through the Beast Quest obsession at the moment (I've done it once with the eldest) and there is a name generator on the website - I was Scrap the Awesome Yak. Hmm

I'm weighing in on Tuesday as that will be a full week of low carbing. I feel better, not so lethargic, but am starting to miss bread.

saffronwblue · 15/04/2012 10:54

Hi all
Have not had a great week as I have been working long hours with tough deadlines so have been not getting much exercise and eating whatever is fast and available. Ahem. But am in for a calmer week, hopefully, had a nice swim today and will begin properly tomorrow with water and lemon to start the week.

I think since having kids I have got in a muddle about food and tiredness. I know in the sleep deprived years I ate sweet things to get through the days. Now my DC are big I still have a tendency to turn to food to fight fatigue.

Am also going to bravely weigh myself but may be too shy to reveal the very scarey number on here.

puds11 · 15/04/2012 11:51

Wednesday weigh in sounds good to me mrspepperpotty. I'm doing some over zealous hoovering in the hopes of burning a few calories!
Did my zumba wii yesturday, i had forgotten how much i enjoyed it!
