Ah yes, it's that time again. New list, new decor. Same comfy chairs though Grin

So, pull up a chair, settle in and make yourselves at home Smile

Just logging on before bed too.
Sorry to hear you're feeling down ria

Have you tried vitamin b6? I bought some for myself but am rubbish at taking them regularly. Maybe they might be worth trying?
I got mine in Tesco but I'm certain you can get them anywhere.
Hope you feel better soon x

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 12/03/2012 07:07

Morning all, will yesterdays first then todays

Yest B - Porridge with banana HB and HA
L- Roast loin of pork, mash 2syns, gravy 2.5 (i think), carrots, broccoli and green beans.
D - Left over lamb pie from Saturday (took to work)

We had a wedding fayre at work yest and i managed to resist the Canapes everyone was tucking into especiallly the sweet ones!

Today B - Porridge with banana HA and HB
L - Omlete with salad
D - The last of the lamb pie to take to work.

Also done wwek 5 run 1 of the Couch to 5k yesterday and im going to shred today, i will be more toned.

Also i got DH to take my measurements on the 18th of Feb and re done them yest and i have lost ;

2inch off bust
3.5inch off waist
2.5inch off hips
2inch of each thigh
3/4inch off each arm

So im very pleased with that and it was a great wee boost for me yesterday, i recomend it as the visual of seeing the numbers go down really spurned me on (and helped resiste the canapes).

Also i think im going to stick to EE so i dont get confused untill i read and understand the Green/Red properly.

Enjoy another sunny day folks.

LumpyLatimer · 12/03/2012 10:17

Don't suppose you've room for another one?

I'm not doing SW - trying out calorie counting - is that OK?

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/03/2012 10:26

Sorry you're down ria.

Well done on the inches lost mis. I wish I'd measured before I started too.

Welcome lumpy. With the rate at which we are shrinking there is plenty of room for another Grin.

Hedgepig · 12/03/2012 12:37

Bleugh come home from work feeling headachey and viral, I'm scoffing sugar like its going out of fashion.
Hi Lumpy, drag up a pew and help yourself to the delectable selection of low calorie nibbles
Ria sorry you are a bit glum big unMN hugs
I didn't measure when I started CSWS but i did find some I had taken a year earlier and a stone lighter than my starting weight. I'll post em later

FriendofDorothy · 12/03/2012 12:46

I was getting a bit bemused as this wasn't appearing on my 'I'm on' list but that's because I haven't posted before!

pixiestix · 12/03/2012 13:14

Welcome Lumpy. I hope your stay with us is a successful one.

Well, after 24 hours of feeling positively murdurous towards everyone in the entire world Ria's post has just made me twig that it might be nearly TOTM Blush So its good that I'm not a complete pyscho but bad that this weeks weight loss will probably be scuppered, even though up til now I have been a perfect angel food-wise.

That said, I'm off out for dinner tonight so I might scupper it with or without my period. Grin

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 12/03/2012 13:19

Hi lumpy im a newbie too, Sorry your feeling down Ria not sure what to take to boost your mood maybe one of those all in-one muti vits? Or after TOTM you may feel better! and you too Pixie.

Done level 2 of the shred and it was hard! But only managed half way as the DVD seized, so i done 30 extra sit ups and some chest fly thingys as want to tone the old bingo wings.

pixiestix · 12/03/2012 13:29

Ahhhh, I'm doing level one at the minute Girders (Well, not this exact minute) and going for Level 2 next week. From what I remember from last year the jump from one to two is haaaaaaaard. I want to get rid of my disgusting jelly belly, but some bingo wing-trimmage would be nice too! Grin

God, I hate those bloody jumping jacks.

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 12/03/2012 13:42

Ha ha me too they are a pet peeve definatly. I thought i was being a smart arse as previously i always done level 1 but and can find it boring, but today i thought stuff it go for level 2......i may slink back to level one on for this week and re-try level 2 next week!

I will proberbly never in a million years have a lovely flat stomach but i going for toned, non muffintopped and reduced belly overhang and i will be happy.

LumpyLatimer · 12/03/2012 15:39

Oh thanks for the welcome everyone :)

I have read through a bit and I think I know the drill....so from tomorrow I will start posting my food!

pixiestix · 12/03/2012 16:05

That sounds about perfect to me too Girders Grin

I should post my food too really Lumpy, but then I'm usually having beans on toast and then some bastard like TSP comes along having had Vietnamese rolls or some such.

pixiestix · 12/03/2012 16:06

Akshully, where is TSP? She is oddly quiet of late. Hope you are ok lady.

kid · 12/03/2012 17:17

MadeInScotland, shredding and C25K, I am impressed. I attempted C25K, managed to do day 3 and then quit.
I have also been doing shred on and off, but have never made it to day 10 of level 1 so have never tried level 2.

Welcome LumpyLatimer, good luck with your calorie counting. I've never tried that type of dieting so I will be interested to see how it works for you.

Do I go gym tonight or do I stay home instead? The choice is between shred or go to a 45 minutes step aerobics class?

My gym buddy has let me down again, but its not her fault so I'll forgive her.
DD is watching something scary on TV (Hawaii 5 O) and is begging me not to go out and leave her home alone (she shouldn't watch it then!)

I do like the step class but I've hardly been lately. I have been doing my powerplate machine 2 - 3 times a day but I'm still waiting to see any definite results. So even without gym, I am still doing some form of exercising.

Decisions, decisions. I know I should go but I also know I probably won't go Grin

I also need to order my food shop and plan some meals as I got distracted yesterday and just tidied the house instead. I hate having to go to work, it really interferes with my plans!

kid · 12/03/2012 17:53

Checking in from the gym. I decided step class was easier than level 1 shred Grin

LumpyLatimer · 12/03/2012 18:07

What on earth is a Vietnamese roll?! Confused

I would never dare to start shredding Kid. Sounds hideous. HIDEOUS.

Meanwhile I am dying my hair red tonight. All part of the transformation that wil begin with the loss of 2 4 stone Grin

Rianoceros · 12/03/2012 18:38

evening allSmile

welcome to girders and lumpylatimer.

maybe TSP has gone back to have another crack at that all-inclusive challenge we set her?

LL (seems rude to call you "lumpy") I am calorie counting too, using MFP and trying to make better choices most of the time. Hmm

if my children go to sleep at a reasonable hour, I will head out for a brisk walk. If they don't I will read a bad novel and have an early night.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/03/2012 19:40

I'm back! We had a lovely weekend, ate like a horse though. Dreading Doom day. I've eaten my body in cake, nom nom!

Hi girders and lumpy. Welcome to the gang!

bee how's the move going?
ria hope you are Ok, pal.
Where the heck is tsp, didn't have her down as a big fat quitter. I'm off to hunt her down!

kid · 12/03/2012 21:32

Welcome back Cheese, I'm sure you had to eat like a horse while away, its all part of enjoying yourself. Plus, it also means I might have lost more than you this week Grin

LL, shredding is hideous. I hate it so much but it judging by how much pain I am in the following day, I am guessing its doing amazing things with my muscles.

I nearly died at the gym tonight. Step class is sooooooooo hard. The move the instructer leaves until the end is to stand with your feet either side of the step and jump up on the step (both feet at the same time) and then jump off the step (one foot on each side) and raise your arms above your head. You have to do that for 15 times. OMG, it nearly killed me and I'm not kidding. I swear, one day my head will actually explode if it gets any redder/hotter!

I am feeling rather proud of the new shape that is appearing before my eyes though. I don't think its noticeable to others as its hidden under my clothes but I can most definitely see a change.
I just need to stick with it a lot longer, maybe I can lighten up on my exercise in August when I go on holiday? Surely I'll reach target by then? Actually, with my track record, I'll be this same weight in December nevermind August!

FriendofDorothy · 12/03/2012 21:45

Gah I think I have spectacularly lost it this week. Not because I have majorly eaten loads but I feel mega bloated and have put on weight because it is time of the month. I just feel really disappointed. I am going away for a few days as well and I keep thinking that I have a few days of not dieting - which is not good as I will probably go mental. I need to settle down a little I think!

MadeInScotlandFromGirders · 13/03/2012 06:18

Kid please dont be disalolusioned, i only just started shredding yesterday along side the C25K and im not sure how long i will be able to keep it up, currently Sun, Tue, Thur is running and Mon, Wed,fri will be shredding with Sat as day off (we will see how long i keep it up).

Well im here early as off to work in a mo so here is todays plan;

B - 2 wheat a bix and honey HB,HA and 1 synn
L - Mixed salad ham and cottage cheese
D - maybe an omlette and salad as have parents night and going to have a run so it will be something quick for me i think.

I have weighed myself (baaaad habbit bettween weigh ins) and i have gained 1/2 a lb so that had better dissapear before saturday and i will try uber hard not to jump on the scales till then. Promise.

Natznjamesnbubs · 13/03/2012 08:37

grinningbee · 13/03/2012 11:16

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Madeinscotland and LumpyLatimer Smile.

I'm bowing out of weighing for the time being. It's all gone boobs up and I'm struggling. Still no news on the house (other than fencegate for those on FB). Thing and I almost parted company on Sunday, honestly, it was all right on a knife edge, and I panicked. Speaking of which, I think he is reading here, as he came out with some stuff I had only just posted about before the weekend.

I'm not giving up or leaving though, so don't think you get rid of me and my lard that easily. I am not going back to being almost 16 stone, no matter what is going on.

Where's TSP? I need one of her talks Grin. If she's wandered back off to try again at an all inclusive hol and put on a proper amount of weight, maybe someone else can kick me up the arse, for more than one reason Grin.

I hate it when you wi and haven't lost much or even anything at all. Especially when you have been sticking to sw religiously. I'll see if my hard work has paid off tomorrow.
It's also star week for me so wonder if I've managed to lose anything.
There were chocolates on offer at work this morning but i managed to completely avoid them. I've been exercising daily for the whole week, I'll be gutted if i don't have a decent loss.
