Mumofjust1 Well done! Congrats. Now stick with it and don't put it all back on. Don't celebrate by eating loads of treats!
Have just had fruit for breakfast and am off to the baths to swim a few calories off.Smile

WI tomorrow and after a very good day yesterday I just want to eat today. I have already had a naughty flapjack and a choc chip cookie plus my meals. Bread with my lunch nearly saw me eating the whole loaf.

Was talking with a friend who does SW and she has an outfit she uses just for weigh ins, thin trousers, a loose top and no jumper, jacket or shoes. I tend to WI first thing in a morning so only have my pj top on . Are we just kidding ourselves or do you do the same?

Debs75 · 23/03/2012 08:45

Stayed the same, not really surprising

Rezolution · 23/03/2012 08:52

Debs I have an outfit for WI too! Thin leggings, silky long shirt and not much else.

CiderwithBuda · 24/03/2012 09:45

Well it's been a bad bad bad few days! Had my sis here since Tuesday and I ate and drank far too much. Back on track from this morning but am starving! Might try a "filling and healthy" day.

Lots of gardening planned over weekend so that should help. Need to get walking too. And take my own advice and drink lots of water and green tea.

I have a weigh in outfit too. Leggings and a light top. It's like a strip club sometimes at the meeting I go to! Especially in winter. People strip off layers down to basics!

Rezolution · 24/03/2012 14:27

Cider Good luck with gardening, great weather too. Just been for a jog and am having a sit down to recover. Have developed a bit of a technique now - ten minute jogs are enough for me so I do two or three of those a day.
Food is easy atm - lots of fresh pineapple and banana so no pp.

Debs75 · 24/03/2012 19:12

Still having a bad day week I think I am due on again which is why I am eating loads. Considering I am often on every fornight this will be a long road to slimville.Sad
I have stocked up on salad stuff and veggies to make some soup so I hope I can get through it without having a carb attack.
Am loving the green tea so I hope that makes a difference

MyNameIsInigoMontoya · 24/03/2012 23:46

I have had a bad few days too, always seems to happen on Thursday/Friday/Saturday after starting the week well. I need to change my habits a bit more. Oh well, starting again tomorrow and at least I have been doing a bit more exercise - a couple of gym visits and also lots of walking and some gardening, so hopefully that will help in the long term, if not in the short term after everything I've eaten today and yesterday...

Littlefish · 25/03/2012 15:04

Well, I put on a pound and a half on Thursday, but then my period arrived on Saturday, so I think that that was at least 1lb of it.

I'm trying to be as good as I can this week. DH is away, which usually makes things slightly easier as I can eat salad for every meal (dh hates salad!).

I've got 4 weeks until my operation and about 5 lbs still to lose. I know I can do it. I just need to bloody well get on with it.

Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying all this beautiful weather! Unfortunately sunshine makes me sleepy and lazy so I haven't done much in the way of activity points!! Going to get back on to the Shred tonight, had to take a couple of nights off because my legs were so stiff.

To add to my challenge, the DCs have got a weird virus which seems to be doing the rounds. Essentially they're just tired, and not very hungry! Which means SOOO many leftovers!! MUST. RESIST. Grin

I had a very naughty night on Friday as it was my best mate's thirtieth but I've stayed within points yesterday and today and have still got a few weeklies left. Really crossing my fingers for a loss...

Feel sorry for all of those with TOTM issues to contend with - I'm on the jab which means I haven't had a visit from Aunt Flo for a year! But I'm about to come off it, as it also makes you gain weight (plus no man = no real need for it!!) so no doubt she'll be making an unwelcome return soon :(

Rezolution · 25/03/2012 18:39

Littlefish I'm sure you can do it. Just concentrate on eating lots of fresh fruit and salad. Have a Brew

Littlefish · 25/03/2012 20:12

You're right Rez. I absolutely can do this. I've lost over 5 stone for goodness sake - why in earth am I getting stressed over a 5lb mini target which I set myself!

My courgette soup is made, blended, boxed up and in the fridge, ready for my next 4 lunches, and some already pointed up home made meals in the freezer for suppers.

I'm as prepared as I can be. I just need to ignore the freshly-made biscuits in the biscuit tin!

MyNameIsInigoMontoya · 25/03/2012 21:44

You can do it Littlefish!

Well I had WI this morning and although I thought at first I had gained again, actually had stayed the same as last week, so that wasn't too bad considering I had had a bad few days!

Started again today, and we did a big bike ride (first time I've tried riding with a bike seat on the back, so hauling an extra toddler-weight must have helped burn some calories!) which I've worked out as around 12 activity points, so that's not a bad start to the week. The kids loved it too! Hopefully if I keep up the effort it will get some of that weight back off again and get me back on track for the next target.

androbbob · 25/03/2012 22:12

Come on littlefish - get on with it!! Grin This warm weather is making me consider what I am eating and how I am in excactly the same position as last spring! Which.Is.Not.Good. There is a box of summer clothes under my bed that are a size (some 2 sizes) too small and I do not want to have to resort to the Charity Shop for some 'inbetween' clothes that I still have and wore all summer........ Grrrr.....

Started back at classes this week - a new class closer to home and the leader is lovely. I am stuck at this point that I always get to and stumble to get past. I have done it before and been a stone lighter than now, but I am still the same weight as I was in January.

Ladies inspire me and slap me with that wet fish / kick up bum / other wise words of advice!!

Asamumnonsense · 25/03/2012 22:23

So glad I found this thread!! Joined WW end of feb and lost 22 lbs since (put on 2.5). I never know what to expect at the WI. Mine is on tuesdays.
Littlefish you have´lost 5sts? that is amazing and so inspiring..Hope you can help me with tips.Wink. I know WW isnt about speedy weight loss but how long did it take you to lose that much?

CiderwithBuda · 26/03/2012 09:13

Happy new week everyone!

Well Saturday's planned gardening ended up being an afternoon nap on the sofa! Food wise was very good though.

Yesterday was a very expensive trip to garden centre and an afternoon spent planting out everything we bought. Food wise again pretty good but did have a couple of glasses of red wine. Normally ok but I know I had no weeklies left.

Need to be super good today before weigh in tomorrow. House is a mess so needs a blitz.

Littlefish. - you can do it!

Asamumnonsense - well done on a fab loss so far! I joined in January and have only lots 14lbs.

ObviouslyOblivious · 26/03/2012 21:16

I need some help! I'm having a very hungry and unsatisfied week. I had a horrid tummy bug until last Wednesday and it's like my stomach and/or brain has forgotten how to eat properly. I gained a pound at WI on Sunday, and I've eaten pretty badly since.

I need a smack around the face please! I've nearly lost 4 stone. I can do this. I have a new wardrobe and I need to wear it!

CiderwithBuda · 26/03/2012 22:17

i will smack you if you smack me!

i have WI tomorrow. Dreading it. am sure to have gained.

Your system is prob mssed up from bug. What are you craving in partcular? try making a big of tasty healthy filling soup.

xmyboys · 27/03/2012 10:44

Grrrrrrr Angry at me!!
WI today.
No loss but no gain Grin
Two running sessions (one 10pm run!!!)
And one gym class I was hoping for some loss.
But

I did go out to dinner on Friday night.
I havnt tracked points all week.

So no body to blame but myself.
I am week three and total loss 5.5 lb!
Going to be super strict this week, track daily and exercise like mad.

xmyboys · 27/03/2012 10:44

10km not 10pm!!

MyNameIsInigoMontoya · 27/03/2012 12:15

Sounds like you are doing great really xmyboys, that is still an average of almost 2lb per week which is the most you are meant to aim for! Also if you've been exercising lots you might have put on some muscle which is heavier, but helps you in the long term.

I am doing OK, started this week really well with the bike ride and then a gym session yesterday so I've barely touched my weekly points yet. Woken up this morning with a really sore throat and stuffed-up nose though, really hope I am not going to have to stop exercising again when I've just got started Sad But at least I'm going to try and eat well today to minimise the damage if I don't feel up to the gym.

I still have 5 prepaid (special offer) sessions to use up by Saturday though, so will be cross if they go to waste as well!

Rezolution · 27/03/2012 13:47

Weigh in last night, lost 2and a half pounds (hurray)so back on track. Only one more pound to lose to get my 15% of the weight I was at the start.
Am still doing a bit of jogging every day, twice a day.
Just had fresh pineapple and W/W cheese and ryvita and apple for lunch so feel full atm. Have agood week folks!
