Just thought I'd start a new thread before the old one filled up. Looking forward to seeing everyone on here before too long....

If I track then I probably eat 1 or 2 a day. I try not too unless I have exercised but if I dont track I know I dip into them

Does everyone eat their weeklies? Are you supposed to or are they optional?

Report
Debs75 · 12/10/2012 18:11

Another lb off. Can't see how though. College and having to use my brain makes me want to eat. The 2 hours walking I do them days must be helping.

I really need to get tracking again so I know what is holding me back, apart from the chocolate

0.5lb on after 2 weeks of rubbish food!! Not bad but I'm back on the wagon now.

Hoping for a good loss next monday (and hoping that my 2 weeks off won;t catch up with me).

Hope you're all ok :)

Well done Debs - I've not been to weigh in (cos of one thing and another) for the past 2 weeks so dreading going next monday, however, my monthly pass hasn't turned up?!?!?

Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

2lbs off this week which was a surprise. Celebrated with several pieces of cake so now have to be super good all week to keep it off

Hello All,

I am planning to go to my first WW meeting tonight. Can anyone give me some idea of what to expect?

Also are there any books etc that I should buy to help or will I get everything I need from the class?

I am already inspired from reading your weight loss messages. Grin

Well done Lepreporn and Debs

Ornellaia 2lb isn't bad after a holiday.

Well after 2 birthdays and a babyshower this week I managed to shed 1/2lb - not bad as I thought I'd gained. Onwards and upwards :)

I had my weigh in this week. Down 3 1/2 pounds. That's my first stone down . Very pleased. Feel like its the first weight loss thing that I've done that I can stick with.
Going to Edinburgh next weekend so hope I don't derail all my good work

Stayed the same again, despite 2 large family bars of chocolateBlush it is period time again and coupled with starting college I have been overly stressed

Well done stormbird that's great.

I've had a couple of weeks off for a holiday and gained 2lbs. According to the scales today I've lost the 2lbs again this week. I'm still 3lbs off my goal weight but I'm sure I'll get there soon.

Hi,

Fab weight loss Wizzler well done.

JoJo 3lb isn't too bad at all. It's my first official weigh in tonight to see if I've lost any and i feel like I have, my trousers are hanging off me but we'll wait and see what weigh in brings (could be a whole different story).

3lbs isn't too bad JoJo... everything seems easier when the DC are in a proper routine
Debs... you too.. if it goes on that quick it must come off that quick too!

Fab loss wizzler!

How did first weigh in go StormBird?

Report

Well got on the wii scales this morning and first of all saw how I had telescoped time - thought i had gone awol for 2 weeks but in fact it was 4 Blush. I've put on 3lb in that time so I suppose it could be worse. Back in the 12s though at 12st 1.
So back on the wagon this week. Visitors all gone and no socialising on horizon to trip me up. So no excuses!

Report
Debs75 · 06/09/2012 22:00

Well I have put back on 2lbs. Not surprised as last week was period week + holiday so good food and chocolate troffing = 2lbs. I am noticing jeans are baggier and belts need tightening more so that is a good sign

Report
JoJoBaldwin · 05/09/2012 12:17

Well after my lovely 5lb loss on the first week I disappeared for 3 weeks with an influx of visitors, socialising, alcohol and carbs. Will weigh myself on friday and see what the damage is.
Thank God the summer holidays are almost over though, with all the days out and people coming to stay it's been quite fattening. And with DD being off nursery I've not had the gym routine. Cant wait for school to start! Fed up of all my tops being too tight when 2 months ago everything was nice and loose.

Back from first weigh in after 3 weeks on hols and lost 4.5 lbs.. Hurrah!. Not quite sure how I have done it , given amount of cheese and ice cream over the last 3 weeks but never mind !

Kilmuir.. We eat meals as a family and I generally have same as the kids, but I reduce the amount of carbs to stay within points. eg only a very small portion of rice if we are eating a chilli

Haven't quite read all the thread but hoping to join Smile

After years of SW I am sick of it so switching allegiance and signing up for WW tomorrow. Hoping I can make the transition.

Looking forward to getting back on top of my eating.

1st weigh in last night - I think I could've lost around 5lb's in the first 2 weeks of WW but it's hard to tell as they are different scales to the ones at home so I'm starting over this week and am treating this as week 1!! Fingers crossed I start to see progress.

Kilmuir Welcome, I'd be interested to hear of family favorite WW recipes too.

Started weightwatchers today, 2 and a half stone to go. Will be spending evening working out meals and getting head round propoints.
Do people with children cook same for everyone? If so any recipes that are favourite with the children.? Thanks
