Good morning everyone!
FOD That sounds really positive, and like things are about to go into action for you. Huzzah!
For those who have asked about M - she had her week of radiotherapy to attack the brain tumour, then had a week off. She was going to find out the results of how it went, and the plan for the chemo yesterday and I've yet to find out what happened. When I saw her on Sunday she looked very different
The steroids have really changed her face etc, and her hair is falling out in handfulls. Ds grabbed at her hair and came away with a clump. She's smoking more now than she ever has, but I've given up worrying about that bit!
Anyway, back to today. I've lost my voice! We've all come down with a horrible fluey cold thing (thanks dd's playgroup), and my voice decided to go yesterday afternoon. H got up at 2am to go and sleep on the sofa as he couldn't stop coughing when laying down, so slept upright instead. It's horrible - like someone has had a cheese grater down my throat. Ah well.
Due to ring the Dr's later and get the blood test results. Should all be fine and dandy though after the scan.
Food for the day:
Ready brek, 1 x ryvita with 1 tsp jam (1/2 syn), very squishy banana
Omelette? Not sure really
Quorn sausages, baked beans and 3.5 syns worth of oven chips
I can't be bothered to make anything tonight!
By the way, the Piri Piri pork recipe I tried the other day was gorgeous, but it nearly blew my head off. My mouth was in physical pain from the strength of the piri piri. I'll bung the recipe up in a mo. It's so easy as well, so anyone who likes spicy food - give it a go!
Oh, and I'm not giving up. I just had a bit of a wobble for some reason. Feel a bit better about it today, and maybe I need to just remind myself why I wanted to do it in the first place. And try some different recipes too.
