Sorry chaps, my thinking cap is busted. Best title I could manage tonight!

Loads of comfy chairs in here, bowls of fruit, and lots of superfree veggies to snack on Wink

So, settle in, have a natter, and let's show the lard who's boss!

I aim for between 5-10 syns a day, but if I go up to 15 then so be it.

kid · 11/02/2012 17:02

I'm not well Sad and how unfair that its the first day of the half term and I wake up feeling rough. I guess its better than feeling ill at work, but this is my time and I didn't plan on being ill.
I'm going to keep taking tablets and hope I can shake it off in a day or 2.

Sw is taking a back seat today, but I've just got the latest magazine so I'll be having a look through that in a bit to see what tasty meals I can make. DH has asked for the bacon carbonara so that's what we'll be having tonight.

Hope everyone is okay, sorry to hear about no BFP FoD, hope the appt goes well for you.

Welcome back Pixie, hope you enjoyed your holiday

Hope you enjoy your holiday TSP, hope it's not too hot for you (while we're here freezing!)

Cheese, hope you've had lots of rest after such long hours and are feeling better.

Bee, Good luck at the hospital. I do hope you'll get them to actually weigh it if they do remove it. I mean, we don't want that to count towards your loss that week, that would be cheating!
No harm in asking for the tummy tuck at the same time. I had an emergency c-section and as they were preparing me for theatre, I asked if they could do a tummy tuck at the same time. It did make them laugh but the didn't do it.

Right, I'm off to drink my tea, browse the web and think about starting decorating. I have got so much to do its pathetic and I don't believe for one minute we'll get it all done on time. But, hey, ho, I can try.

pixiestix · 11/02/2012 18:33

TSP you really are toooooo good to me.

pixiestix · 12/02/2012 08:17

Its the weekly Sunday morning rant, but why oh why am I AT MY DESK AT WORK right now??? Why meeeeeeeeeeeeeee??? Grin

(Please ignore the fact that my job is so taxing that I am on MN while drinking tea. Completely irrelevant)

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/02/2012 09:04

Grin pixie have a good day.

So far today I've poured boiling tea down my leg while DD ate a lump of coal Sad not the best of starts. SadSadSad

TheScarlettPimpernel · 12/02/2012 09:35

Cheese that sounded like it was straight out of The Road to Wigan Pier Grin Are you both OK? [concerned emoticon] On the plus side it can only get better, no?

Pix poor you. That'd make me rant my tits off on a minute-by-minute basis.

DH on night shifts this weekend so having to occupy myself. note: I could go and out and see pals but I don't like anyone, so there . I'm going to do more spring cleaning and then finish making a skirt. And then go and stare in the mirror at the gigantic gender stereotype I have become Confused

'Ere, have you all seen the MN haircut thread? I did mine last night and it looks amazing! That means what I had set aside for haircuts can be beer money. Win/win.

Food today

GREEN

B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB, and 1.5 syns in Lurpack Lighter, 1 in ketchup)
L - roasted veg pasta with some feta on (HEA)
D - jacket spud with cheese and tomato (HEA)

And the usual desserts and snackage: fruit, yoggit, Alpen Lights for the other HEB.

pixiestix · 12/02/2012 09:50

Urgh, sounds like a bad one Cheese.

I read about the MN haircut the first time it did the rounds I think TSP and I was scared of it then and scared of it now! Grin I'm sure I would end up looking all skew-whiff and lopsided and not in a Hoxton-trendy way. Glad you are looking fab though, o brave one!

TheScarlettPimpernel · 12/02/2012 09:55

I think it's probably loads safer if you have an untidy thatch like mine - hides a multitude of sins!

how long d'you have to be at work today Pix?

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/02/2012 10:03

We are alright, it bloody hurt and Iz has left black sooty handprints all over the lounge, and me! Iz also showcased a new trick: climbing stairs.

tsp I'm also on me Todd and have decline offers of park etc cos I can't be arsed. So this morning will be spent cleaning and tidying, making a couple of dinners for the week. Then we are popping next door to see our friends as its her daughters 9th birthday. I'm not sure I can be bothered to even pretend I'm going to decline cake!

I also saw the thread about MN haircut. I am considering it as I have curls. Post a pic tsp.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/02/2012 10:05

pixiestix · 12/02/2012 11:05

Loads more sleep, thanks Cheese! She's been a bit peaky on and off over the last few weeks and seems to have been needing to rest at night rather than playing with her toys and banging her tambourine Hmm

Only five more hours until I'm free TSP.

Food so far today:
4 cups of tea. Thats not good , is it. Grin

FriendofDorothy · 12/02/2012 12:06

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/02/2012 14:25

Oh dot, that must be have hit home a bit. Hope your cup cake helped!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/02/2012 14:26

sorry teacake!

TheScarlettPimpernel · 12/02/2012 15:30

Oh FoD matey, I'm sorry. It's always worse when you get that sort of news just as your blasted period comes. Head down, look ahead to the FC appt and the future. Big hug to you.

I am about to try and make some coleslaw with none of the correct ingredients . Butternut squash for carrot, savoy cabbage for white cabbage, and red onion for white onion. Nothing if not a pioneer, me Grin

TheScarlettPimpernel · 12/02/2012 15:30

...and I do realise you can't look ahead and keep your head down Confused. Back to Metaphor School for me!

pixiestix · 12/02/2012 15:55

I'm heading back into the land of the internet-free until next weekend but sending fertile and slimming vibes to all Grin

Mwah!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/02/2012 18:41

Oh god, my period is here too. That explains the massive grump and need for sugar.

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/02/2012 21:57

Hello. Sorry am miles behind - had friend here for the weekend.
Was doing well with plan today but then dd left a piece of birthday cake from a party that she went to today as she didn't like it. I figured I'd have a bite and then throw it away, but it was farking delicious, so I ate it all Blush. I'd already had some of the sweets from the gingerbread house that she decorated at the party.

I usually aim to have 0-5 syns a day, but this week it seems to have been more Hmm.

Hedgepig · 13/02/2012 07:24
