Hmm just checked my BMI, at 10st i will be 24.8 which still isnt quite ideal really is it....top end of healthy.

might try for a bit more off if i ever get to 10....maybe i shouldnt have checked! to get to the middle of the healthy range id have to weigh 8st 7 which i haven't weighed for quite a few years!

Blatherskite · 15/01/2012 20:36

All this talk of BMI made me want to check mine - 24.76. Back into "Healthy" I guess but far too close to the top for comfort.

Weigh in tomorrow which has me nervous. I'm really hoping for a loss but not expecting one. Not sure why. I'm hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised but as I'm still on, I don't think I will be Sad

Got a difficult week this week with 2 lunches out with friends and a kids birthday party at McDonalds on Saturday where all the adults will be eating too. Going to have to be very good for the rest of the time to have any hope of not completely blowing my entire points budget.

Going to go up to Shred level 2 tomorrow too. I've just got 'Ripped in 30' but I'm not sure I'm brave enough for that yet.

ThatVikRinA22 · 15/01/2012 20:51

mine is currently 26.05....not good.

still, incentive to keep at it!

Peppapigsarse · 15/01/2012 21:01

Pah I wish I'd never looked at my BMI calculator.... and just realised I need to lose more than I initially thought sigh According to WW my lowest weight should be 10st 3lb, but the BMI checker I used said 9st 7lb?

I hope to get to 10st but that means 3st 4lb to go.... that's so much Sad feels like I'll never be about to drink my body weight in vino again I'll miss the vino Blush

i had to very small glasses tonight and stayed in points Grin

I've made a massive batch of soup for lunches at work, they defo helped along with fruit for snacks!!!! I need to save my points for a party at the weekend Grin

The lowest I should be according to the BBC BMI calculator was 7st 3! I've been that before and I looked poorly. Not going there again.

ThatVikRinA22 · 15/01/2012 23:26

well if its any consolation i was speaking to the personal trainer at the gym - he says BMI is over a 100 years old and is not a good way to determine a healthy weight because so much depends on other things, he said body fat % should be taken into account more.

i have just started running again and ive got to build muscle for work to pass the pull/push test, i find it harder to lose weight when im training, that will be why!

i think im going to forget the BMI thing, if i can get to 10 stone i will see if i am happy with how i look and how my clothes fit, and if i am, ill stop, if im not, ill carry on!

the very lowest i would want to go now at my age is 9st 7 anyway.

devilsadvocaat · 16/01/2012 06:04

My bmi is 22.3
When I get to 10 st I'll be around 21.
Still not really happy with the way I look, don't know if I ever will be...

Ds2 cried out at 5am and I couldn't get back to sleep. Also I have a cold, not looking forward to ww on a cold.

LAst night I ended up eating mini ryvita, crumpets with jam, ham and a glass of wine. All after a heavy dinner. Woops.

Wi: 10st 7

Lost a pound. Better than nothing!
Wish I hadn't stuffed my face yesterday tho!

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 16/01/2012 06:58

Right, I start today

I really really want to Shred but I know that I can't as I know it would aggravate my medical condition having been told what it entails. Rib and muscle removal in the neck isn't really conducive to star jumps and arm swinging around Grin. Will have to just walk and exercise bike

Blatherskite · 16/01/2012 09:26

Weigh in done. 1.8 lbs lost. Not as good as last week but it'll do Grin

4.6lbs lost since I started.

Feeling inspired to shred again today. Hope I still feel that way after DD's swimming lesson. I have to go in the pool too and it's freezing today!

bintofbohemia · 16/01/2012 09:37

Jesus bloody Christ. Weighed in this morning.

Bear in mind I ate less this week and went to the gym four times - included two spin classes.

I have put on 3 bastard pounds.

How is this possible?! I am so Angry. I've just decided to start taking measurements to track whether anything's happening there, but I think I'm going to have to do something extreme to kick start things (cabbage soup/juice diet for a week.)

Just used the NHS BMI calculator, and based on this morning's weigh in my BMI is 27.6. Sad

I did come on on Friday, but still. I'm not having this.

nearlyfinisheduni · 16/01/2012 10:07

the £30 cashback is back on quidco when you join online, glad i didnt do the £15 one yesterday! Just wanted to know though do you put the voucher code where it says promotional code as quidco say to put it in at checkout??

puggirl · 16/01/2012 13:25

Was doing well Saturday then had 2 glasses of wine last night and have just devoured a small bowl of trifle and a large cookie. I think I have possibly eaten all of the 49 points in 2 days. It's shred tonight ( too cold to run) and a diet supper. Really got to stop the daily weigh in too. Does everyone weigh in once a week or more frequently?

devilsadvocaat · 16/01/2012 13:28

I weigh myself too much...
Tryin to stop weighing between each wi as it throws me off course.

bintofbohemia · 16/01/2012 13:48

I only weigh once a week. I used to do it daily but it does no good.

Blatherskite · 16/01/2012 14:00

Did level 2 of the 30 day shred today. Seemed shorter than level 1 but that's maybe because I was working harder. I really had to follow the modified moves today though, it's really hard work!

AF is approaching. The desire for carbs is growing strong. I've just eaten more chocolate than necessary or wise. Must get a grip.

ThatVikRinA22 · 16/01/2012 16:11

think same here with regard to AF....i always want sweet stuff....deliberately not buying anything that could tempt me because i know i will eat it!

today went for lunch with friend but only had sweet chilli noodles from weathers which if i remember rightly very good points wise, had that and a diet coke so been very good
having a wW recipe for tea which is also low in points.

saving points for a couple of G&Ts tonight....think i will have about 8 (old) points left, so theoretically could have a bag of sunbites and a fun size twirl....with a couple of points to spare!

now what i REALLY want is wine, but not buying it or i will cave and drink half a bottle.

piprabbit · 16/01/2012 16:19

I have 4 points left until the end of the day. I think I will fill up with some fruit and veg and maybe have a boiled egg.
The chocolate was lovely - but not that lovely.
Vicar - I am very impressed at how good you have been today.

Supersal - I try to live on pointless veg curry when I'm really hungry. It's my plan for the rest of the week...

Blatherskite · 16/01/2012 18:25

AF is on her way out for me. Quite impressed with myself that I managed to restrain myself last week and still lost. Hoping she takes some bloating with her when she leaves.

I've got 5 points left for today. Fancying one of my mini choc bars when the kids are in bed I think
