I WILL lose weight now. Anyone up for doing this with me and having a nice safe threat to bore the pants off everyone share our progress?

WI day.

Loss this week = 2.6lbs
Current weight = 8st 12.8
Total loss so far = 9.2 lbs
Grin

I did get a telling off note because I lost over 2lbs in a week though! OK in the first few weeks apparently but not so good now, 5 weeks in. I've done nothing different this week than I've done any other week, in fact, I've done next to no exercise thanks to running around sorting out picking my car back up. I haven't eaten many of my weekly points but then I never do. I guess I'll have to carry on and see how this week goes. If I'm still losing too fast, I'll have to make some changes.

Good luck to everyone else...

MelodyPondering · 06/02/2012 08:50

Blathers well done!

I was pretty shit yesterday for a first day really. I had a bottle of wine last night...I didn't mean too!

I've taken it out of my weekly points and will be extra specially good today Smile

My Target for the first week is 5-7lbs, let's see if I can do it!

5inthebed I've got a wwdiary app on my phone, it was free but I don't tend to use it, I do use the calculator app though.

fannybaws · 06/02/2012 09:26

Just back from Hols and horrified by the pics am off to rejoin we this morning at 10 am!
Will use this thread too if that's ok for support.
Got on the scales at home today and am 12 stone 5 which at 5 ft 4 is much too heavy.

MelodyPondering · 06/02/2012 09:35

Fanny I have let my weight creep up from 10st to 13st 7lbs over the last year.

I'm only 5ft 3...

I'm feeling very motivated today, this time next month I could be a stone lighter if I stick to my points.

Good luck Smile

bintofbohemia · 06/02/2012 10:25

Morning - hope everyone's had a good weekend? I've not tracked my points since about Weds but ate bugger all at the start of last week and also had a very aerobic sledging session yesterday so hopefully it won't be too bad. Having a belated weigh in tomorrow morning...

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 06/02/2012 10:28

Hi all

Well done Blathers. I've just gone and looked for a ww tracker 5inthebed I have bought this which hopefully will be good. Hi fannybaws. Go melody :)

WI day for me down 1.5lbs this week. Still got the constipation problem so off to the docs this afternoon. Hopefully I'll have a really good weightloss after that Grin

fannybaws · 06/02/2012 16:36

Thanks ladies enjoyed the meeting today though the leader was a little dull and seemed nervous which was weird as she runs five a week!
Joined a gym with a kids crèche today so no excuses for me not exercising, or hiding from the kids Smile

Well done all the losers Grin

I'm off the wagon still 2 big nights out entertaining clients on Thursday managed not to get in till 3:30amBlush not sure I did sufficient dancing to limit the damage!!

2 weeks of the wagon back on with avengance! I made soup for the week so that will help I'm hoping!

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 07/02/2012 10:38

Just to confirm, the android WW app that I linked to above is really good. Definitely worth it for £2.49. It is for US and UK and has loads of UK values on it. You can even scan items and they sometimes tell you the value.

GravityDefier · 07/02/2012 13:58

I wish I had a fancier phone sometimes.

I was up till 4am last night working on a report and had a nutella and toast binge. I had 3 slices of toast, cheese and then used my knife to eat about half a jar of chocolate spread :( As I had eaten all my weeklies and sports points that went on top of that.

Last weeks weigh in I had put on 600 grams, basically all that I had lost the two weeks beforehand. That in addition to my binge last night made me think I would do badly today.

Had my weigh in this morning and lost 1.4 kilos!? That's almost 3 pounds. Not sure how that works?

That means that since starting weight watchers 6 weeks ago I have lost 3.4 kilos, so almost 7 pounds. Doesn't feel like a lot somehow as it's not a regular loss but one huge loss in the beginning and one huge one now but if I average it out I guess it's ok, about a pound a week.

Would love to try a bit harder again this week, my self-control is so bad that I keep falling off the wagon.

GravityDefier · 07/02/2012 13:59

I just hope all those chocolate points don't mean I am gaining some weight the next few days.

devilsadvocaat · 07/02/2012 14:50

Lost another pound...

10 st 5 now.

Have eaten loads today. So cold and tired. Dieting is hard in the winter!

bintofbohemia · 07/02/2012 16:56

Well done everyone who's doing well! Gravity, I've often found that if I eat very virtuously for weeks then have a few days of not so much that I lose more. Don't understand it but it's all good!

I lost half a pound this week. I suppose I did go off for a few days and didn't get to the gym as I was working away. Am actually doing SlimFast at the mo within WW which is ridiculous but am getting really hacked off with not getting very far. (3lbs in 4 weeks, it's not great is it?!)

5inthebed · 07/02/2012 17:04

This is the android app I use. Works great and have looked on the WW site, it is correct.

Not having a good day. Have no kitchen again!

Ben10HasFinallyLeftTheBuilding · 07/02/2012 18:52

Loving the Warburton's Squarish Wrap pizza :) So filling and for so few points. I have got my exercise bike and am trying to gradually increase the time I can do it for. Up to a massive 12.5 minutes so far which is is double what I could do back in November. Slowly slowly but I can feel my hipbones again which is great. Just need to get rid of the huge bum now!

GravityDefier · 07/02/2012 21:40

Binofbohemia, I agree it's good, it;s just very mysterious.

Starting a new week today and have already eaten 18 of my weeklies. Oops Blush

5inthebed, what happend to your kitchen again?

Blatherskite · 07/02/2012 22:04

I've got 2 points leftover today!

I'm going to need all the help I can get for next Monday's WI though as DH is taking me to Pizza Express on Saturday for an early Valentines meal!

I'm not sure even a Leggera pizza can compensate for my love of dough balls Blush

GravityDefier · 07/02/2012 23:18

Blather, I did the same with DP tonight. He is meeting friends on V-Day (ahem) and so we decided to go out tonight spontaneously.

I had a starter (Brushetta, 13 points but so so so amazing) and an Americano pizza (22 points). I used some of my dailies, 3 sports points and 18 weeklies. Do you have your weeklies left? If so try and be really good the next few days and save them all up for a huge night out. You deserve it :)

Blatherskite · 08/02/2012 20:18

Well the table is booked so we're going now!

I have 40 weekly points left after having a PMS moment this morning and having a Maltesers bunny for breakfast Blush so just got to hold onto them all until Saturday now.

I'm planning on having the dough balls (10 points) as there really is no point me going to Pizza Express if I can't have the dough balls as I love them, the Leggera Pizza (between 13 and 16 points i've read) and the Red Velvet cakes (to see if they're as good as mine Wink I'm guessing somewhere between 8-10 points each??)

I'm definitely not going to be losing any weight this week!!

Blatherskite · 10/02/2012 21:20

It's gone awfully quiet. Hope everyone is doing well.

piprabbit · 10/02/2012 22:38

Hello everyone - sorry I've not been around. I've struggled to keep on track this week and everyday has felt like a bit of a battle.

However I'm please to have a 1.5lb loss which takes me to 33lb gone since the start of November.

GravityDefier · 10/02/2012 23:25

It is really quiet!

Piprabbit, well done and congratulations!I think we all have times when we fall off the wagon a bit but you have done so well, just look at your achievements!

I am doing ok today. Didn't have breakfast or lunch due to stress and then ate 7 biscuits and a piece of Haribo. Oops. So that was 16 points gone and I hd salmon with a tiny bit of butter for dinner. So all my points are gone now. I think I'' have to go to bed soon so I won't be too hungry!

piprabbit · 10/02/2012 23:35

Night Gravity - glad you managed to keep within points despite the wobbly start (sounds very familiar to me).

GravityDefier · 11/02/2012 00:09

Thank you, but I wasn't so good the last few days. But I am trying hard and I think that's all I can do. Yesterday I had lunch at 12 and then only had time for a tiny bit of salad at 8pm, after my dance class, before dashing out again (was late for that event so had no time for even a whole bowl).

I was then found next to the buffet a lot of the night but I was so hungry and exhausted Blush Can't really count that suff as I don't remember the quantities but I think it's save to assume I am way over my weeklies.

Those busy days when you just don't have time to sort anything out/nothing that really works with WW are hard, aren't they?
