I started on Christmas day (stocking filler from dp I had been begging for). I'm going to combine it with running and hope it will replace the gym (as post dd2 I have not the time to go as she bf all the time!)

So I've done 2 days im on level 2 and find it tough but good

Confused
and they say No More Trouble Zones was hard???

clare8allthepies · 30/01/2012 19:24

That's extreme! Grin to think I'm struggling on level 2!

IwoulddoPachacuti · 30/01/2012 19:39

Can I join in too? I've completed L1 d4 today. I have been doing it off and on for the last year but this is the longest consecutive days I've actually managed it Blush Blush

I am enjoying it this time round, and I wasn't sweating so much today. I might well try doing the 2 levels back to back, although there is a small chance it might kill me!! I've also did 10 miles on the exercise bike today. This is the year I will get fit and lose the belly [determined face]

movingonwardsorsidewards · 30/01/2012 21:25

hey everyone, day 10 level 1 done, so that means level 2 tomorrow, wish me luck.

getor -well done, you must be over the moon Smile

ssmile - we are starting level 2 together, good luck... i'm glad the fat is falling off you, i'm not sure if it is with me Confused when i am exercising i do it with my sports bra and shorts, my legs are much firmer but my belly seems massive Sad i think the top part of my belly has improved but its the bottom part that looks like it will never budge...

movingonwardsorsidewards · 30/01/2012 21:34

i just went to look at jillian michaels facbook page and found a video its a 90day programme and it looks crazy just wondering if any of you might try this? its out in feb, looks scary Grin

putyourhatonsweetie · 30/01/2012 22:09

Hello and welcome Getorf, wow a stone is fantastic, good for you. bet you feel great.

Since 1st Jan I have lost 4.5 kilos with shred and myfitnesspal....quite a way to go yet for me though. It has just been creeping on (no medical excuses for me) and enough is enough.

Moving the nell mcandrew is called maximum impact. Not sure I would exactly recommend it - it is pretty annoying and takes a while, on the other hand it is intervals and good for cardio so will be useful for a few days until I start 6w6p. Wasn't sure which one to do next but my tummy is a real problem area so thought 6w6p might be good (even if psychological I KNOW you can't spot lose). also intersted in the 90 day programme but I am a bit of a wimp

Chesterado · 30/01/2012 22:27

Day 22 done now five days into level three. Great to hear others are seeing results. The new workout looks v intimidating compared to shred. I have ordered killer "buns" and thighs as my next step.
Suspect Jillians idea of killer buns is probably not the same as mine!

ReduceRecycleRegift · 31/01/2012 08:54

L2D7? (so that would make it 16 in total) done yesterday, managed to do Natalie all the way through for the first time in L2 Grin and wore my new Aldi ankle and wrist weights throughout too, plus 1k weights for the cardio bits. That is quite an improvement from when I started!

Can't believe I'm on to L3 in 3 DAYS!! Shock - eek!

rosalux · 31/01/2012 09:31

L2D6 (Day 14 overall). Almost half way through and I've even managed to do some Natalie for the strength sections. Knee really playing up on the cardio though, possibly due to very vigorous massage I had on Saturday which resulted in a bruise Shock. Remembered to turn Jillian off today, which was a more pleasant experience. Just 4 days to go to L3. I should probably have a look later this week, but don't want to terrify myself!

bigTillyMint · 31/01/2012 09:39

L3 day 23 done!

buggyRunner · 31/01/2012 10:07

Just done day 23 but upped to 3.5 .kg on level 1 phew Blush

L2D11 had a bit of a wobble there when I used a bottle of red wine for balance- had a girly weekend away but back with a vengance

movingonwardsorsidewards · 31/01/2012 22:24

just did day 11 which was the first day on level 2, i'm just wondering what the hell is the double skipping thing all about? that is completely crazy, I think that lady is off her head! can any of you actually do that?

Other then that it was ok I think Confused

DaPrincessBride · 31/01/2012 23:16

Can I join? Day 1, level 1, toddler laughing at me, jellylegs. It can only get better...!

bigTillyMint · 01/02/2012 07:55

Day 24 done! I went back to L2 with the 2.5kg weights - it felt a lot more aerobic than L3 Smile

rosalux · 01/02/2012 09:24

L2D7 (Day 15 overall). Half way there. Hurrah! Am starting to tire of L2 (or perhaps that's just the 5am start that DS gave me this morning!) On the plus side, I'm vaguely able to do the arm raise squat things on circuit 3.

ssmile · 01/02/2012 10:48

moving just did first day of L2 (day11 overall) don't think my technique was that good as had to stop a few times and pause dvd to work it out and didn't feel so knackered at the end did some more sit ups as I couldn't do full plank things and the interim ones weren't hard enough. I had to drop weights down and still couldn't do the whole set of arm raises.
Was very tired today though as up every two hours with 5mth old baby, but stood on scales and think I lost 10lbs in Jan :o :o flipping hard work with walking 3+miles daily, dvd and healthy eating. Another 10lbs to go.......

daprincessbride my baby sits in her chair and giggles at me and my 4yr tried to join in and couldn't keep up with mummy at wend :)

bigTillyMint · 01/02/2012 17:04

ssmile well done Grin

Hathall · 01/02/2012 18:47

Level 1 day 10 done today so I'll start on level 2 tomorrow.

I'm a bit disappointed that I've seen no obvious results so for. I'm still the same weight (but then I've had weekend lapses on the food front), same width and am not finding it any easier! I don't find it really difficult or anything but do have to have a couple of breathers every now and then but I just don't seem to have improved.
My arms are still as wimpy as when I started.

Did anyone esle have a similar experience?

notveryinventive · 01/02/2012 20:54

Just done the first day of level two and was pleased to hear Jillian say a couple more and actually mean two not six Grin

Some bits were easier some harder than L1, but I couldnt do it all as I spent the first couple of reps watching them and figuring it out. Im sure by the weekend I will be doing as much as I can and probably dyeing in the process

Dont think Im ever going to be strong in my arms though, Ive never had much strength there and still couldnt finish some of the arm exercises in L1 (but I was doing L1 for 12 days) The ones where you have to lift your arms above your head are just a killer for me :(

Ive not seen any obvious results either though there is hope for me.

notveryinventive · 01/02/2012 20:55

I meant Im still hoping for some changes in me and my body

ReduceRecycleRegift · 01/02/2012 20:56

D17 today, skived yesterday but did do body combat and body balance before work then didn't get in till late (but then pigged out a bit Blush)

Hathall are you fairly fit anyway?, I've been seeing results but wasn't doing much before and also have been dieting.

when I did my classes yesterday I really noticed how much stronger I am, was able to do much more than usual

Haziedoll · 01/02/2012 22:51

I'm loving the butt kicks, jumping jacks and boxing but hate the skipping action exercise. It kills me!
