I started on Christmas day (stocking filler from dp I had been begging for). I'm going to combine it with running and hope it will replace the gym (as post dd2 I have not the time to go as she bf all the time!)

So I've done 2 days im on level 2 and find it tough but good

Well done Smile

I went back and did L1 last night after a few days on level 3, and was able to do all push-ups Natalie style, so it does improve.

Napdamnyou · 22/01/2012 16:06

Missed yesterday as too much to fit in and DH took forever, tsk, did level one yet again because the BLOODY DVD skips about to level two and needs to be returned. GRRR.

I quite like the look of travelling pushups but not the burpees.

auntpetunia · 22/01/2012 16:23

can I join? I'vejust done d2 level 1 and at present feel like my arms, shoulders and legs are on fire. Am hoping to get off the floor soon when I can manage to stand!

Think I am going to stick with this as I am really enjoying it and am amazed at how much I am feeling it.

Hathall · 22/01/2012 16:38

Catsareevil you seem to have been doing it for a while can I ask you what improvements you've seen? any in the bust area?

catsareevil · 22/01/2012 16:51

Hathall
I have been doing it for a couple of weeks. The main areas of imrovement so far are my belly and my arms. I think also that my calves look better. I also feel fitter and more active generally. I havent noticed much change to the bust area. I have a slightly smaller chest measurement in terms of the back size on bras, but not seen anything else. That being said it wasnt really an area that bothered me before, so probably wouldnt notice a small change.

bigTillyMint · 22/01/2012 20:22

Have just watched level 3.

Oh My God Shock

I think I will stick with level 2 and attempt some of the level 3 moves in preparation. I doubt my poor old back will cope at all with the rockstar jumps Shock

movingonwardsorsidewards · 22/01/2012 20:26

I've never made it to level 3, sounds scary

bigTillyMint · 22/01/2012 20:32

It is Grin

I'n sure level 2 will do me just fine for a long while longer!

ReduceRecycleRegift · 22/01/2012 23:41

survived level 2, a few concerns though, I worry about my technique, I don't want to do myself an injury that sets me back (like on day 2 of my brief flirtation with boot camp!). there's more tricky technique in L2

Im not sure if my plank position is right and I think I'm doing silly things with my neck, plus I find walking press ups easier than full ones so am I doing them wrong?

and WTF is with putting the one leg bit right when the dizziness and faintness sets in?

catsareevil · 23/01/2012 07:27

I did level 3 again this morning. For the first time I managed to do the scissor crunches all the way through, so something must be improving Smile

bigTillyMint · 23/01/2012 08:11

Day 18 level 2 done. Swapped the jump ropes for the bum kicks - slightly less hurty on my back!

rosalux · 23/01/2012 09:22

L1D7 completed. Really glad I had a rest day yesterday as I felt able to do the moves much more easily this morning. Just one more day until L2, though reading the above comments I am now a bit scared.

buggyRunner · 23/01/2012 15:41

Day 19 l 3 complete- my pj's fell down as they're too big Grin the upside and downside of shredding Grin

Hathall · 23/01/2012 20:15

buggyRunner How funny! I love it Grin
Can't wait for mine to fall down.

I was in so much pain today. My legs, stomach and arms were so sore but I perservered and completed day 2. hooray for Jillian. She's great Smile

jen127 · 23/01/2012 20:38

L2d8 ouch! I wonder if I will be able to walk tomorrow?

notveryinventive · 23/01/2012 20:40

ive just done D9 L1 and I can definately feel some of the exercises getting easier. I even use heavier weights for some of the strength ones. Im dreading L2 on Thurs though (I have Tues off)

From next week I going to add swimming twice a week to my work-out regime.

Chesterado · 23/01/2012 21:21

Just done level 3 for first time, 18 days in overall. Spent a lot if it trying to work out what on earth was going in but just about survived. Not liking the walking planks or press ups though. I ache already...

Chesterado · 23/01/2012 21:22

And you know she means business when double jump ropes are in the warm up. Yes the WARM UP!

bigTillyMint · 24/01/2012 09:02

Day 18 level 2 done!

Chesterado, you are not selling level 3 to me at all Grin

rosalux · 24/01/2012 09:04

L1D8 completed. Moving up a level tomorrow, which I think is right as I'm no,longer aching all over in the mornings. Had a look at L2 yesterday and think I can probably manage Anita. A bit worried about cardio as an old knee injury is playing up so will have to modify some of the moves whilst also doing 5-10mins daily on the foam roller from hell. Have booked a massage for Saturday after L2D4 (fingers crossed) to help sort it out.

putyourhatonsweetie · 24/01/2012 10:40

l3 day 24 done. despite doing it for a few days now l3 not getting any easier which is pretty demoralising. going to have to try it earlier in the day to see if that makes a difference...exercise is supposed to cheer me up!

ssmile · 24/01/2012 12:29

L1 day7 done (but I'm doing it alt days) its getting easier...and my jeans pulled down with out undoing the button :) but weight loss slowed A lot so hope its building muscle that's doing that! Feeling stronger
Baby sits in her bouncy chair watching me, so she just getting bored by the time I get too the stretches so can chat to her dangle toys as I cool down. May watch level two to see what's coming later.

Napdamnyou · 24/01/2012 16:02

Still on bloody level one, not through choice as DVD is jumping on level two and need to return. Done 20 times now andgo flat out with deepest squat and heaviest weights I can so hopefully when I finally get to do level two it wont be as awful. Well done everyone!

StaceymAloneForver · 24/01/2012 16:16

hi i started shred 5 days ago and would just like some advice, i have 2 weeks before i fly to vegas, where my wedding is at the end of the week. should i hot foot it through the levels 7 days on each? or would i be better keeping to the 10 days a level, completeing it properly (i do everything on level 1 on the hardest level except push ups) and only get to level 2?

rootietootie · 24/01/2012 17:03

hi i started the shred 2 hours ago :) im super hoping this gives results that I have taken a before picture of my disgraceful saggy shitty flumpy mummy tummy. Is is expecting too much to get a washboard stomach in 30 days? Is anyone else nearer the end of the 30 days and can i ask what results you obtained?
