I started on Christmas day (stocking filler from dp I had been begging for). I'm going to combine it with running and hope it will replace the gym (as post dd2 I have not the time to go as she bf all the time!)

So I've done 2 days im on level 2 and find it tough but good

Thanks ReduceRecycleRegift, not feeling heroic right now. On postive side though I no longer feel like I might die/vomit. Grin

Hi everyone,

I'm not new to shredding, I have had the dvd for over a year, i did it before, but I have never done the whole 30 days. I am now going to stick to it hopefully.

Ssmile - well done 7lbs in 2weeks is great, what diet are u doing?

bigTillyMint · 21/01/2012 08:48

Back to the shred today - just done level 2 day 16, I think! I should be thinking about level 3, but my back is not great, even with 2 days off.

Picklepoff · 21/01/2012 09:11

Urgh I've been ill for a week with a cold and cough but now that I'm able to breathe a little easier I'll be back on it from Monday. After a whole week I'm a little terrified! I have strangely missed it though and reading through all these posts I'm gutted that inward wasn't able to get on with it. Onwards and upwards...

putyourhatonsweetie · 21/01/2012 09:14

welcome moving and coolrunnings. well done nap, brilliant news!

notveryinventive · 21/01/2012 09:16

Im feeling more achey this morning than what I have felt for a few days.

Is anyone thinking of doing a level more or less than the 10 days? Im considering doing L1 for an extra 2 days so I start L2 on a Sunday. I am also considering doing each level for 15 days or will that not make it a good workout where I push myself a bit more?

bigTillyMint · 21/01/2012 09:28

NVI, I did level 1 for 8 days and I have now done Level 2 for 8 days. I don't really feel ready to move on, mainly because my back is hurting and I can't push myself. I think if you feel that you are sort of keeping up with Natalie, then you should be ready to move on?

jen127 · 21/01/2012 10:32

L1D7 level 2 beckons

rosalux · 21/01/2012 11:29

L1D6 done this morning. Note to self: do not shred with hangover! Only 2 more on L1 before I move up to L2 for hopefully 10 days and then L3 for 12 days. Not sure that I'm losing weight - had a few glasses of wine last night and then fish and chips (in my defence I removed half the batter first and gave DP 1/4 of my chips), but can definitely feel my arms getting stronger and I can now do 16 full press-ups on the first circuit and 8 on the second, so hopefully can do them all by Tuesday (tomorrow is day of rest). Am both excited and terrified about moving up to L2, please no more anterior lunge things!!!

catsareevil · 21/01/2012 14:43

3rd day of level 3 today. Im not sure that it is getting easier, it still feels impossible, but after 3 days of it feel like I cant drop back to level 2 now.

I have definitely noticed changes in my body. My arms look better, my calves are more defined, and my CSection overhang is reduced (though still present Blush).

CoolRunnings · 21/01/2012 16:59

I'm in awe of everyone at level 3, I can't imagine how hard it must be! I've just done level 1 day 3 and I'm finding it a bit easier, I'm not counting down the minutes to the end quite as much. Wish I had bought lighter weights though!

Chesterado · 21/01/2012 20:13

Checking in after day 17 day 10 on level two. Level three tomorrow . Celebrating the end of walk out pushups with a wispa and glass of wine!

Hi everyone.

I'm just wondering, if you do a exercise class like spin or boxercise, would you still shred that day? I don't think I could manage both...

buggyRunner · 22/01/2012 08:03

day 18 l3 done- have been ill with d&v so took a few days off!
i take a day off for running- may try to fit 1 in today thou

Done 6d of L1 and have moved from half kilo tins to 1kg drink bottles for weights but it still hurts... best dvd I've done for the results its given. Lost 4cm of waist and really enjoying feeling stronger in core post baby.

moving no particular diet just healthy eating counting calories using MyfitnessPal app which is excellent. Allowed myself 1200+200 for bestfeeding +200 more as I walk 3miles a day doing school run and shred everyother day. I expect weight loss will slow to 1-2lb a week now as my body goes oooh less calories I'm not letting this nice extra 20lbs go easily :-)

Chesterado · 22/01/2012 09:19

I knew I was tempting fate argh. Winner was supposed to say wibble btw. iPhone out if control again But to be clear i am far from winning with jillian!

I have trying to fit the odd run in. Generally works better if I shred than run I find.

Chesterado · 22/01/2012 09:20

Shred then run. I give up.

bigTillyMint · 22/01/2012 09:21

Day 17 level 2 done. I might do another day at level 2 and then try level 3. Wibble Wibble Wibble.

I also find it is better to shred before any other exercise (usually leaving a gap to recover too!)

notveryinventive · 22/01/2012 09:37

Im not doing any other exercise ATM, but if I was I would probably do one in the morning and the other in the evening. So I might go for an early morning run and shred in the evening. Or if I had an exercise class to go to on a night I would do the shred first thing and then the class on the night.

I plan to do more when the weather gets nicer and the mornings a lighter and go running as well. I also fancy swimming, but its finding the time to go.

CoolRunnings · 22/01/2012 09:40

moving I run in the morning five days a week and I'm planning to shred every evening/afternoon. I'm only on day four but its a little easier now.

putyourhatonsweetie · 22/01/2012 10:08

glad you are feeling better buggyrunner. day 22 l3 done (but only day 3 of level3) ...not enjoying it one jot.

movingonwardsorsidewards · 22/01/2012 10:23

Morning. Sounds like you are all doing so I well. I have only done 2days do far and I'm dreading today as my back and neck are killing, usually iwould quit if I feel like this but I'm going to continue. But I do feel like its giving me a tension headache.too.

Hathall · 22/01/2012 14:26

Can I join?
I've had the shred for a while and have attempted it once before. I got to about day 20 and was starting to look good then I couldn't do it for a few days for whatever reasons and then didn't get round to it again.

I'm still carrying Decmber bloat and weight and my diet is a bit slow. I've lost 3lbs since the start of January so I'm looking to boost it a bit and tone up.

Is anyone else dieting as well?

Hathall · 22/01/2012 15:24

After I posted on this thread, I thought well, theres no point in wasting time so level 1 day 1 done! Grin
It was tough but I kept up with the more difficult versions except for the push ups. I have never been able to do proper push ups.

Has anyone noticed any uplift on the boobs at at all? I would so love that.
