I started on Christmas day (stocking filler from dp I had been begging for). I'm going to combine it with running and hope it will replace the gym (as post dd2 I have not the time to go as she bf all the time!)

So I've done 2 days im on level 2 and find it tough but good

L1D2 done last night. Legs are aching. Am meant to be re-starting running tonight too after 6 month break!

How does every one motivate themselves to keep doing it day after day??

And any tips on the push ups? Doing the beginners version but not sure in right position.

chesterado, I think I will do L1, for a couple more days and watch L2 a couple of times so I know what to expect!
reduce Wow, I would have talked myself out of it. Very impressed! I was lying in bed this morning trying to think of reasons not to do D8 L1, but pushed my lazy a** into doing it and I was glad.
rosalux I turn her right down and turn my own music up. I still keep an eye on her so I know when it is time to change moves. Keep at it. I ached for 3 days and it then was much, much better.

the push ups seem to be getting HARDER not easier Hmm, even struggled with Anita ones today! oh well maybe after my rest day (which isn't till sat) they'll be easier?

and side lunge weight raise thinkie is still pretty hard!

beginning to really look forward to L2 Shock, getting a bit bored! starting on sunday.

Got JM's master your metabolism book through the post today, looks good! especially because I don't want a "diet" with lots of sweetners and fat free stuff, I want a healthy lifestyle that benefits my DS for life too IYKWIM

OH and I cheated and weighed 2 days early this morning, lost 3lbs since friday Grin

Tilly you may want to do level 3 or level 1 as if your back is hurting from the cardio in 2 you best change the routine

well day 17 L3 done! had yesterday as my day off! I have a strange hard bump just on my tummy-anout a fist cone size Confused

Made myself do L1 again today day 5 I too find the leg squats to side with arm raises really hard after first 10 my arms are falling off! Feeling gd though as lost 7lbs in last 2wks :) was under my calories today so had 3sq of dark chocolate and sucked each one slowly was yum

My arms, when doing the bicep push-ups on one leg in front of the mirror, look like I am a female weight-lifter / body-builder with bingo wings hanging down Grin

just done D5 on L1. glad I did it cos I really didnt want to, but as I missed yesterday I made myself. Feel good for it now.

Done day 8 on L1. Went shopping today for some new work clothes and the changing room mirrors told me that I still have a way to go.

I did my 5th day of level 2 today. Its definitely getting easier. I have been doing it so far with 1 kg weights, and today have bought some 1.5kg and 2kg weights. Im trying to decide whether to do L2 with the 2kgs or just go for level 3 with the 1kgs.

Argh. Got to day ten and then not done ysterday or today Waiting for DH to sort out DVD player, have been using the YouTube level one session so far. DS has just gone down for nap so in theory I could do it now but if he wakes halfway thorugh, I'll be all sweaty and irritable.

I suppose I could do it after he goes to bed but I'm always knackered then and gagging for a drink and my supper. However, I will try.

I need a kick up the bum. But he's still getting me up at 1am and 4am so it is hard to get up at 6am and shred if he is sleeping, because I need sleep too. Very badly.

I did level 3 tonight for the first time. I used 2 kg weights. It felt pretty intense, and there were some bits I couldnt do all the way though. I despair of ever being able to do a rockstar jump!

L1D5 just done this morning. Was really tempted to stay in bed after DS woke at 5.30am and then spent from 6-6.25am in bed with me wriggling/crying until I gave up on the stroking/patting/shushing and just fed him. My left arm feels a bit sore, more so than the right one. Not too sore to do the DVD but will have to watch it as don't want any injuries ad JM intones. Tried it without her voice today, which was better, but hard to know when to change moves as the music doesn't always change. Ho hum. One more day and then REST (hurrah!)

day 20. started level 3 today and was a bit disappointed...because I couldn't do some of the moves I feel like I got less of a work out than when I put my all into level 2. humph. still plenty of room for improvement and perhaps tomorrow will be better.

Commuting again so can only do 3 or 4 days a week. Better than nothing. L1 day 7, pretty good.

Back on track. Tried on a pair of men's shorts with a 30 inch waist yesterday, and they were TOO BIG. This is fab because 34 have been tight on me previously. I hold all my weight round my middle - apple shape. My waist has shrunk by inches!

Actually excited about starting level two now, am going to try and sort DVD player as DH being rubbish.

L1D9, getting MORE pathetic at press ups by the day, not better, and have to go down to middle weights for side lunge shoulder raise otherwise my technique/posture is pants... so now am questioning my ability to go on to L2 Hmm

rest day tomorrow (although am tempted to do a small run) so maybe after that I'll be better? seem to get WORSE by the day at the mo? Then last day of L1 on sunday and monday is dum dum DUUUMMM level 2 day 1 day!

BUT am seeing my body change already so loving it

Can I join? Just did L1d2 today, felt a little bit easier, but please tell me that eventually my muscles will stop hurting!
