-2.75lb Grin so I have lost 7.25lb in two weeks Shock I LOVE this 'diet' Grin

CrispLeCrisp · 20/01/2012 08:21

Woo hoo Fjorny - well done, I am really chuffed for you Smile

I am +0.75 to 10.9.5 Hmm, so 3lb off overall. Better than nowt but a bit disheartening tbh Sad. I did wear my 28 inch waist jeans yesterday so not all bad!

So, onward and downward with low carbing Fjorny style. I don't eat many carbs usually anyway, but will be extra vigilant, especially with breakfast and wine.

Off to gym this morning for 1st Exersazz.

CrispLeCrisp · 20/01/2012 08:23

Oh, and dh lost 7lbs so half what he did last time. Not sure what we did differently other than missing the jacket spud on the saturday night Confused

FjorGynAndHotWater · 20/01/2012 08:48

One more pound and I will weigh the same as I did in April 2010 which has a nice symmetry as that was the first time we came to your house crisp!

Sorry to hear the cabbage soup has not had such miraculous results this time, although 3lb is not to be sniffed at, and still better than my diet results! I am guessing my food this week was tastier though Wink

CrispLeCrisp · 20/01/2012 12:29

You will easily manage that pound Fjorn. Go girl!

Bacon and scrambled egg for brekker, 10k run, 10 mins powerplate, 30 mins 'swimming' with dd2

Soup for lunch - finishing it off and dh has added some lentils. MUCH better. Plus tuna salad and yoghurt Smile

FjorGynAndHotWater · 21/01/2012 08:29

DC are eating chocolate spread on toast Envy

I have had some cottage cheese but waiting till we get back from the vets at 10 for proper scrambled egg & bacon breakfast. I WANT TOAST!!!!!

CrispLeCrisp · 21/01/2012 13:23

Boiled eggs for brekker, 5k run, 3k handbike, 10 mins powerplate. Rocket & Parmesan salad for lunch with a mouthful of bread!

CrispLeCrisp · 21/01/2012 13:24

Oh, and down 0.25 to 9.25 Smile

luckoftheirish · 21/01/2012 18:48

Well done ladies that is awesome GrinGrin

Low carbing and gym start in earnest for me tomorrow, let's hope I can get some good results Smile

luckoftheirish · 22/01/2012 20:34

It didn't happen Blush

CrispLeCrisp · 22/01/2012 20:38

tee hee.

Norty good girl Grin

luckoftheirish · 23/01/2012 08:45

Right starting again ladies

Please give me some good tips on this low carbing Smile

Dd1 off school today but hoping to go to the gym later.. Exercise I think is pretty good it's the food element.. Scales have increased by 0.5 on last Monday but I haven't seen them move the other way in weeks Sad

FjorGynAndHotWater · 23/01/2012 10:37

+1 on Friday so OK with that.

loti I am eating lots of eggs so scrambled eggs & bacon for breakfast or half a tub of cottage cheese if I'm at work, then salad for lunch although haven't had any breakfast yet today so will try to hold out for another half an hour then my scrambly eggs will keep me going till teatime. Tea will be chicken or fish with v few potatoes and lots of veg.

You are veggie though so not sure how that would translate. Do you eat fish or are you a proper veggie? Also don't forget I still have many stones to lose so it's easier for me to shift. I think crisp may be right that your body has decided you're thin enough and is refusing to let go of those last couple of lb.

BenderBendingRodriguez · 23/01/2012 13:38

Not to mention the fact that, with all the varied and intensive training you're doing, your body will be building muscle which weighs more than fat. It's not all about the scales, it's about how you feel :)

L1 Shred with weights completed Shock as DS is at nursery and DD is asleep Shock Shock I had to dust off my DVD from the very bottom of the shelf Blush Really enjoyed it though, am now sweating glowing nicely.

luckoftheirish · 23/01/2012 14:20

Well done bender Smile

I feel rubbish, all bloated so hoping this low carb will make me feel better Smile

Boiled egg for breaker and cheese salad for lunch Smile

CrispLeCrisp · 23/01/2012 17:35

Oh FFS, i don't like low carbing either Hmm. I don't normally have many carbs at all, but this avoiding them is making me crave them all day. Grrrrrr.
What can i snack on without racking up meat/fish bills?

Good most of the weekend, wine only one day - had friends over for Sunday lunch. Two tiny roasties with that, but i did succumb to a crumpet for tea Blush. Back on it again today.

Level 3 shred, accompanied by DD2 and the cat Grin

So, 3 Exersazz already in the bag this week. Will do a sneaky weigh tomorrow, although i do have to say I do not feel particularly 'light' despite 2 weeks of hardcore diet and loads of exercise

Well done on your +1 Fjorny - I am in awe, and glad you have found a diet to suit which works so well for you Smile

luckoftheirish · 23/01/2012 18:33

1km cross trainer 5km on treadmill with only 4 mins of fast walking Smile

luckoftheirish · 23/01/2012 21:06

I have being snacking on cheese strings Blush fingers crossed u have a positive weigh in crisp x

luckoftheirish · 24/01/2012 08:15

Oh my god -2.5lbsGrinGrinGrinGrin ok this could just be temporary but hoping praying fingers crossed GrinGrinGrinGrin

Both girls are off school today but will try and gym it when dh gets home from work.

How did it go crisp?

CrispLeCrisp · 24/01/2012 12:12

+0.75 on Sat weigh in to 10.10 Angry

CrispLeCrisp · 24/01/2012 12:13

Well done on your loss though LOTI Grin

luckoftheirish · 24/01/2012 12:25

Oh crisp SadSadSad are u eating enough?? Two weeks of serious dieting could have messed up your metabolic rate?

[hugs]...

I am not really holding out much hope that this weight stays off but if I could try and maintain it I would be alot happier

CrispLeCrisp · 24/01/2012 13:12

You know what LOTI, i have no idea with this low carbing Confused

I think so, yesterday i had grapefruit for breakfast, rocket & parmesan salad with some roast pork, some strips of cheese & more roast port, some veg from girls tea, then boiled ham with cauliflower cheese and a yoghurt. It seems ok to me, but???? I did Shred so extra 200 cals but lots of cheese calories i would imagine.

Today I have had 2 boiled eggs, Ham soup (which had a few lentils in but not many) and some salad. Tea will be paprika beef & mushroom with a few noodles and a yoghurt.

I think i will carry this on till Friday, have the weekend 'off' and then if still struggling go back to FF. I know where i stand with that and nothing is banned which for me is a massive bonus Smile

I saw my friend who regularly low carbs today and she suggested snacking on nuts and said they really fill her up, so I will raid the cupboard later and see what we have.

luckoftheirish · 24/01/2012 13:27

Nuts sound like a good option Smile your brekkie yesterday was very small and overall doesn't sound like you are eating a massive amount and that combined with exercise??

You also drinking enough water??

I too have no great idea on the low carbing but yesterday I drank loads of water and had quite a few peppermint teas.. Trying to lay off drinking so much tea and coffee..

As I said tho my luck never last long and assuming that this just a temporary blip and will be complaining tomorrow when it magically reappearsHmm

CrispLeCrisp · 24/01/2012 14:10

Drinking loads of water, probably too much tea though Blush, although have switched to skimmed milk since cabbage soup week.

Re breakfast, i really can only do eggs, bacon, mush, tomato or grapefruit. I physically couldn't stomach cottage cheese at that time of day.

Just looked at Brazil nuts and they are 200cals per 30g - a small handful i guess. As i don't really want them it seems such a 'waste' of calories IYSWIM? I know that the need to snack is down to boredom rather than hunger. hey ho, I will keep pressing on.....
